IDK if its my translation but it seems as if that the power the terryuunubito (sp?) can call a buster call and not an admiral per say.

Of course I have! Nami's feet have been a very big concern of mine over the past year. I created a thread a short time ago in the hopes of bringing the matter to more people's attention, but unfortunately no one was mature enough to take it seriously.

Indeed. I believe it deserves it's own bounty. It's clearly a grave danger to the world government.
Ussop's Butt is the 10th straw hat! Oh wait, wrong thread.
I just read the scanlation on one manga, it's a good'n

After 56 long chapters, they've finally returned!!

I love how at the start of the chapter everyones in shock except for the pirates, they just seem to have started to like Luffy :)

Well they are pirates anyway so they enjoy a good show, especially since they are not involved in all of that.

I would appreciate it if you didn't group me into that just because I went through some chapters looking for them. I just found the idea fascinating if he was right.
and don't double post please.

I think I'm going to keep running with this Raleigh vs. Don thing…. I mean, Raleigh was just there to steal money for his gambling right? Well... If Don finds out about it, wouldn't he be pissed? I foresee a big ass boss fight!
-
I forsee DoFalmingo having nothing to do with the archipelago….
-
I really hope that the strawhat doesn't belong to roger, because i think that would just lessen the bond created by shanks with luffy. I mean shanks taught luffy how to be the kind of pirate he is now, cares for his nakama and does whatever the hell he wants. So hopefully it didn't belong to roger
-
HEY! Is this guy on the top cell with the pistol from the Capone gang?

First thing that comes to my mind after reading the suggestion that the strawhat is connected to GDR:
"If that strawhat is ultimately the way to reach Raftel I'm going to buy all the strawhats in my town and eat them… with ketchup!"
@brennen.exe:HEY! Is this guy on the top cell with the pistol from the Capone gang?
is the lady in the bottom left in the same panel Igarams wife?

Roger gave the hat to Shanks, Shanks gave the hat to luffy. Wouldnt that be a little cool….

maybe

Looks kinda like Admiral Akainu don't you think?
-

I don't know, I would think if Roger wore a straw hat, it would be part of his legend.
Then again, I suppose he wasn't the pirate king when shanks had the hat on….. but still.
I think that there is another significance to the hat for shanks that hasn't been revealed yet.
Then again, maybe he just liked his hat.
-
The hat has to stay a friggin hat, not the key to raftel, not the last member of luffy's crew and not another way to show how similar luffy is to roger. When shanks gave it to luffy he just wanted luffy to aim for a position similar or higher than that of shanks so that he can see how the next generation grew up in the world roger/WB/WG created.
-
The hat is the connection between Shanks and Luffy. It's what was given so Luffy would work towards meeting Shanks. Shanks used it to make Luffy a great pirate.
That's it IMO. It still holds great importance, no point trying to add things to it, especially it being one piece… which sucks as an idea and I wouldn't be happy with oda if he made that the case.
-
Nice chap. And for all those who were upset with the spirit/aura replacing the mindless beatdown of cannon fodder, rejoice! It is still there.

This is true, that is in fact all the hat is, for right now. The hat obviously has a significance to shanks also, but that could only be because he's had it since he was a child.
IMO, the hat is luffy's "one piece". I can see him at the end of the series adding to roger's.

You are mocking me, aren't you…@slayerlx:
Even if it is, it doesn't really have much significance.
Nor does spotting panda man, but people do it for the sake of interest and curiosity. This is discussion after all.

I forsee DoFalmingo having nothing to do with the archipelago….
I didn't mean this very instant, I just mean down the line. When we finally get to see DoFlamingo fight some.
Oh and kudos to Ussop, even though the spirit wasn't aimed at him, he still warded off enough to keep him concious… Woot Ussop. -

Ya, but….Panda man's....cool...like..that...(and he's an on running joke)
while this guy is.... a guy with a pointy chin (and a quick costume change).
-
I don't know it this has been mentioned but has anyone noticed Luffy is still wearing the armlet from Thriller Bark on his left arm.
-

I am assuming that the starfish and Camie did as well… I bet Kyla the sick girl from Usopps village could have warded off the spirit that wasn't aimed at her.
I bet motartoubo (the bison that Duvall was riding) could ward off the spirit that wasn't aimed at him/it.
-

http://www.onemanga.com/One_Piece/503/07/
huh, I suppose he is.
I wonder if this will become an on running joke…..
-
It's just a costume change, (like how Nami has changed clothes 30 something+ times already) it goes with his blue vest instead of his usual red one. I can't see how it is supposed to be a joke in any way.
And yes logiafruit6 it has been noted before.

Huh, what? No. Wow. No.
I meant the pointy chined guy changing from black to stripes, and I meant would the glass armband become a running gag, like panda man. Although, now that I think about it, I guess it's just part of his costume now.
-

I am still hoping that it has Wind Element +3 and HP 20%. I suppose it could be a 'costume change', but it seems to grab the eye much more than just a 'change' to me. I really would like to see it draw out into something ~~ or have some importance. like casting Phoenix if he dies…

PFFF, what, are you kidding me?!? It wouldn't cast Phoenix, it's much to small.
Rather, it would give Phoenix downs! -
The marine outside does look like he could be Akainu. It wouldn't be suprising if the task they are dealing with is Rayleigh.
Why have I just noticed this; Silvers Rayleigh was Gold Roger's main man.
-
Why have I just noticed this
I have no idea $abZ that was pointed out the moment he was revealed
-
I'm guessing that Rayleigh peered into Caimee's mind to see what transpired prior to his entrance. Perhaps he has telepathy powers?
-
NAMI'S FEET!!!!!
By any chance are you a Quagmire fan?

Want to bet that Gold's Roger 3rd in command has Bronze before his name**.** I am the only one who finds it ironic that Rayleigh exploits those who exploits others?
-
Caimie was saying "Hachi is gonna come and save me"
Hachi is on the floor, and pirates are protecting him from the guards…. but yeah maybe is telepathy -
You know, this arc is reminding me alot of Lougetown. It has some parallels, except it's longer. I'm sure that someone already mentioned it before, though:
Lougetown:
-Town where pirates prepare for entering the Grand LineShabondy Archipelago:
-Island where people wait to go to the New WorldI have the feeling that whatever Admiral shows up, it'll be another Smoker case, and the crew will have to avoid fighting the Marines and escape the island to go to the New World.
-
Why oh why do the chapters have to end on such cliffhangers? Now I have to wait another week before I get to know what happens between Luffy and Rayleigh and how the battle between the pirates and marines is gonna go.
-
Why oh why do the chapters have to end on such cliffhangers?
To keep people interested:getlost:
Or furious. One of the two.
-
I just had a thought. We know Shanks got the straw hat from someone which made it special to him, at least i think thats true. Perhaps it originally belonged to Silvers. In his first appearance in the Buggy flashback we already know he was quite familiar with Shanks and Shanks was already wearing the hat at this point. He said the hat suited the kind of person Luffy was. This could just be because he knew Shanks very well, or because Silvers was the original owner. Just thought I'd throw that out there.
-
I think its fairly obvious that no matter what happens next, Luffys' bounty is going to go through the roof. Usually its the marines HQ that sets the bounties, but its likely Tenryuubiyo have a lot off pull there or even put up a the cash themselves. By that I mean if 500mil is pocket change to that Charlos guy, placing even a billion on Luffys head should be no big deal for them.
And boy it did not look like Tenryuubiyo were happy with Luffy and SH crew …. :)

I did not miss those pages! I was aware of them from the moment they were released. But like you noticed, Nami's feet are all either drawn very small or are hidden behind something. In the past, Oda drew Nami's feet in almost every chapter and they were always a reasonable size. In the past year, however, he has purposely been avoiding drawing Nami's feet, as I explained in the thread I previously linked you to.
But regardless, I'm glad you see the significance of this matter. If there were more One Piece fans like you and me, perhaps Oda would be going to more trouble to draw Nami's feet again - for the very sake of his fans. Unfortunately he seems to have forgotten fans like us.
-
Wait, there's a significant community of foot fetishist Nami fans?
I do not want to know.
-
We know Shanks got the straw hat from someone which made it special to him
I'm pretty sure we know nothing of the sort.
If there were more One Piece fans like you and me,
please don't group me with yourself.

We are not "foot fetishists". People like Gorlom and I simply notice and appreciate the beauty of Nami's feet.

You have obviously mininterperated my actions as interest in the matter.

Please don't revoke your beliefs simply because of apforums' injust prejudice towards fans of Nami's feet.

Yea I checked I was wrong. The hat is just special to him for an unknown reason. I suppose that means someone could have given it to him, but it seems less likely now.
-

Have I ever stated any "beliefs" involving feet idolization? I was merely fascinated by your unnatural and unhealthy obsession with drawn feet.
personally it feels like a big joke from your side and if you are going to troll about it I would appreciate if you didn't refer back to me.
-
Why are so many people making a fuss over Luffy's armband? In all likelihood, it's just a phylactery to hold Ace's Vivrecard, rather than sew the silly thing back into Luffy's hat.
Also, no matter what people have to say about Nami's feet, they cannot compare to Robin's big, beautiful..ears [/???]
