I, and several people from my class, were trolled today by our professor. Our exam results on that class came out and it was like:
Person A: Exam grade: 5 Project grade: 5 = 8
Person B: Exam grade: 7 Project grade: 5 = 9Because 5+5 = 8 and 7+5 = 9 guyz! =D
I am person A btw who hadn't studied at all for that exam because I was told by someone I know and trust that I had the chance to take an exam of the only subject I left behind from other semesters and was studying for another exam for 3 frigging days instead on concentrating on this one because I was sure I could get a 3-5 to make my grade a 8-10. Oh. And I couldn't take the other exam I was studying for after all. Learned that on that day that I had both exams to take. :getlost:
I like how he even told us himself that it would be our project grade+our exam grade. We asked him more than enough times to make sure and thus I was sure I wouldn't really need to study… Anyway. I walked out of that exam feeling sure that I would get the least a 4 and thus a total grade of 9. I get 5 and end up with a total grade of 8... Bah. I'm in class right now. On break in between my 3 hour class, but I'm doing fine. Class is boring. It's pretty much a collection of things I learned in other classes. Not that I'm not taking notes or paying attention, but I have my attention split between taking notes and keeping myself awake via Internet.
And hour and half remaining in class…
By the way, is the chatroom not working for anyone else? Maybe it's my connection where I am, but I can't connect at all.

I had a pretty good day today. Went out with a group of friends and walked along this boardwalk across the river reaching to Universal Studios. We took way longer than it should because we kept stopping to take stupid photos and videos. My stomach still hurts from laughing; I've really missed this group of friends.

My history teacher is awesome! His students? Not so much, and that's being generous. We were discussing something about Wendys and a recent use of outsourcing when it came to drive-tru customers, and how dangerous the idea was for people seeking employment in the US. Suddenly, out of nowhere this girl started to rant about what percentage was edible in fast food. Really now? How the hell was that even relevant?
Other than that, I tried to find information related to Work Study. The information counter led me to the administration office, and for there they led to me to the Financial Aid window which was completely unavailable. It would have been great if someone told me they had no bloody idea what I was looking for.

Holy shit today has been mundane.
Acccidentaly stayed up way too late doing nothing of note, and have basically been running on fumes all day. I'm sitting in my last class right now(300 person lecture hall), and am completely devoid of any ability to pay attention.
Oh, and I have an exam tomorrow that I need to study for. Yay, education.

I was exhausted for most of it. I only got about an hour of sleep before I had to be at my 8am class.
My classes weren't bad though, and they went by fairly fast. I could have done without those brisk walks from one building to another though. Campus seems massive in the winter time. -
The Day's just started (it's still 8AM here), but I just finished buying One Piece Vol.61 New, so it should come in about a week. :happy:

I have a sore throat, I cut my finger with the paper I wrote the math test on (I swear the math teacher chose this kind of paper just to see someone being that unfortunate as myself) and I also wrote the history test that the class supposed to write last week.
Phew… it was a hard day, and I've still got homework.
February will be difficult. VERY difficult.
But, I'm having a history class tomorrow, along with English, French and literature class, so I'm happy.

According to the full situation, the girl had it wrong, but because of the alcohol she was obviously under, she was wild and set in her opinion, screeching whenever she was contradicted.Eventually the father gets fed up and they both yell at each other, and the father walks away once more, with the daughter telling him to fuck off.
then she's on her own with her frustrations, and when the dad's pal tries to console her, she starts acting out and hitting everything.he kept trying to calm her down but she kept trying to punch him. it was viscious.
at one point she started pummelling the side of a random car, and he had to tackle her to the ground to stop her, while she was screeching and flailing about. ugly stuff.the whole argument at this point was
guy: "calm down, stay still, calm down"
girl: "you're fucking hurting me, leave me alone!!"
guy: "i'm not hurting you, i'm trying to control you! you're waking up the whole fucking street"
girl: "fuck off with your lying, waaahh" hits more things, screams like a child some more and tries to hit the guy againThe whole of my street: facepalm
eventually the father came back, which calmed her down somewhat and they went down the street for a quiet chat.
meanwhile, me and my dad were standing with a couple of the neighbors outside, talking to the guy who was trying to control her before.
he filled us in on the family issues and explained what this was all about, which made it more clear to us strangers who was in the wrong here. (the girl)
but then when the guy tried to re-join the trio, the girl started flipping out again and she was acting like a petulant child."no, fuck off. i won't listen, fuck off. YOU WANNA START SOMETHING RIGHT NOW?!?"
while all he was trying to do was get a gentle word in edgeways.They kept trying to tell her she was drunk but she kept screaming "NOOOO, NO I'M NOT, PLEASE BELIEVE ME." "NOOOOOO" . and when i say screaming, i want you to imagine that your whole neighborhood can hear it.
guy: "why are you punching people's cars? why are you hitting me when i'm trying to protect you? why are you waking up the whole street? calm down and we can all talk this out"

"i swear on my grandma's grave that you were swearing, thrashing, and keeping these people awake. look at them! they don't know you, but just ask them, they'll tell you what they've seen you doing."
obviously she never asked us.

it's like "ok, i stick with you through your tough time and try and try and try and try to calm you down and rationalise the situation, yet you throw punches and insults at me and then tell me to fuck off and die? seems fair."everything's remained cooled since then. the girl disappeared god knows where, and after he felt better, the man broke his hug with my neighbor, wiped his eyes and drove off. dunno where the dad went.
but holy fucking shit, i don't think i've ever witnessed something of this level up close, ever.[/hide]

Oh my God….I almost had a freaking stroke....
Not really but for a class assignment today, we had to make and submit a game using Game Maker 8. I had finished 90% of the project previously, so that was no problem.
Well, I started doing the finishing touches, when I noticed two issues:
- The zipped file I made for my project was far too large and I needed to remove some stuff from my game.
- Usually the project is due at the start of class, 3:30. I checked the due time. THE DATE WAS CHANGED TO 2:30! IT WAS 2:36! THE PROJECT WAS SIX MINUTES LATE!
So I started to panic. Fixed my project as fast as I could. Deleted a ton of stuff, and submitted it. And that's when I noticed something about the due date: WEDNESDAY at 2:30......
So yeah, it turned out to be due tomorrow and not today.....

i'm currently in a war with a porn spammer on the site i'm a mod at.
he flooded the site with porn while everyone was asleep, so i'm cleaning things up as the only mod online.it's not even good stuff, it's just a spammage of that "goatse" image. shudders
what sucks is that mods don't have a banhammer, and all the admins are currently offline.
so all i can do is delete and delete until they come and ban him. sigh.

I got my lower two wisdom teeth out about three years ago, both at the same time. They didn't bother me at the time, but there was a chance that they would one day, so better be safe than sorry.
@Topic: I'm finally working again starting today. Those three weeks off were … strange. I wasn't able to sleep very well because I wasn't exhausted enough, so thank God that'll get better now.

I have four wisdom teeth. I absolutely hate going to the dentist so I can only hope I won't have to undergo dental extraction.
Today I've been nothing but a waste of space. I went to school and washed laundry, but didn't feel like I did anything worthwile and it kinda pisses me off now, but it's too late to do anything about it so I shouldn't whine. Oh well, tomorrow will be the start of a great weekend, so that's something to look forward to!

As for my day, it's been pretty good. I decided to finally add English to my major (which now puts me a double majoring at Chemistry and English), and I'm really excited of the possibilities I can achieve!

I woke up feeling like shit. My cough got worse and won't stop and my throat is now hurting.. Not to mention my lungs being in pain whenever I cough and this strange headache too… This is just brilliant. =/ I have to work on my Undergraduate project today dammit!!

Had a CNY lunch with some friends today. We brought far too much food, as usual. Beer-can chicken (with a beer can stuck about a quarter way into the chicken - made the meat really tender), pasta, African rice, potato salad, vegetable soup, fishballs and prawns with soup, braised pork belly, brownies, lemon meringue, almond jelly… way too much food. Everything was delicious, though. But I may have eaten something bad, because my stomach started churning about an hour later. Sigh.
