I've just recently discovered that One Piece episodes 001 to 052 have bad masters. They all looks a little washed out and pale, this changed with episode 53 (technically a new season).

(also episode 14 is particulary bad, has there ever been a good master for this episode from any source?)

So the 'Remastered' Special Edition episodes that you see on Netflix will look pretty bad up until 53 where the image becomes sharper, which means they aren't completely unwatchable, but they're still cropped.

As evidenced from the 110 flashback footage in Life Hero's Plus Character Log Episodes, the 720p source does indeed look really good compared to the DVD source. All episode clips that take place before episode 53 still look like garbage however.

This means that for episode 53 to 206, Toei are holding onto fullscreen 720p masters that they could technically release on blu-ray. Toei might have them in full 1080p however as none of the Character Log special episodes broadcasts were captured in 1080p there have no proof of this.

I feel like anime Kaido is a different character than manga Kaido.
Not just the anime always not wearing shirt but also the contant yelling and grunting.
While in the manga he is more relax or levelheaded when he's not drunk.

Also did Toei skip gyukimaru talking about Wano history during Ryuma's time or its in the next episode?

Your getting confused with the first time that Zoro fought Gyukimaru I think.

That was talked about in 933.

I think that Kaido is a bit more aggressive in the anime. I don't think it really ruins Kaido's character though. He doesn't really have much character in the manga, so him being slightly more aggressive isn't a massive change up.

Thanks for the info. Seeing zoro and gyukimaru fighting in the air like they can fly or Bleach characters really messing with my head.
