@Tsukishima:
His power is really useful and seems to be rather scarce, so I think they will do everything they can to convince him to join them.
maybe and maybe not it's hard with togashi writing the series motherfuckers more unpredictable than oda.
@Kareem:
Thank you. Much appreciated. Shame too since I thought it sounded like it had potential.
you should still read it (I haven't) just to see for yourself whether or not you like it.
@Bucephalus:
Wait how many people are even in the Phantom Troupe right now?

Those are ten I know for sure. Pakunoda and Uvogin are obviously out, but did Chrollo resign or is he just incognito waiting for the others to break the seal on his powers? And did Hisoka get kicked out at the end of the Yorknew arc? I can't remember.
Assuming Chrollo is still in, there's still two empty spots, so it should be interesting to see who fills them. I suppose that considering the fact that they'll be fighting Kurapika again in the future, having that black guy from GI as a member would be very wise. I don't recall him showing any outstanding fighting ability, but Kortopi has yet to reveal anything in that field either, so it's probably no big deal.
Hisoka quit being a ryodan member during the exchange kurapica and Pakunoda had. The rest of the members know that Hisoka is no longer a member of the genei ryodan because hisoka talked to pakunoda about it and therefore was apart of pakunodas memories which she shot into the rest of the members heads, Kalluto is hisokas replacement he mentions it during the ryodans battle at zazans ""palace"". Hisoka wants to fight chrollo in his full glory an was helping the Genei Ryodan out looking for someone who could remove the needle placed around chrollo's heart which is why Hisoka was at Greed Island to begin with.
Now I don't know if Chrollo still considers himself part of the Ryodan anymore but i'm sure he knows that his group is willing to do what it takes to get him back to his former glory.
As for Abengane he doesn't have an outstanding fighting ability but he does have a very powerfull nen removal technique, hell he was able to walk around with Genthru's bomb ability, it was practically a couple of days later that he was able to place his hand on Genthru and say the cantation for removing the bomb permanently.
Kortopi I see more as an assisted type of player, like meleoron alone his power is usefull to a point but with someone else it's deadly an I believe the best partnership for Kortopi would be shalnark. Plus Kortopis ability acts as his en, so he's a good alarm system.
