I wouldn't doubt it's Ben himself.
Anyway, what a surprise with Carl! Never expected that. I was never crazy about the chemistry between them so I'm not gonna be shedding any tears but that doesn't make it any less shocking. How the fuck could they have thought Ji Yeon was a better cliff-hanger than that?
SO! Good episode! Tom's confirmed gay, we see the island LITERALLY controls life from far distances and we now have a time-frame for how fast travel between the island and outside world can be. Since Tom was fairly active during Season 3 this shows it can happen extremely quickly, as in matter of hours or less quickly.
I liked how Mike's mom bitch-slapped his, "I have a right!", mantra.
One thing I didn't like. The bomb.
What the fuck did that accomplish????? Seriously, from a story progression perspective, what in the hell did that accomplish? Ben invested all that time sending a fake bomb which he didn't even expect Michael to detonate!? HUH!? Please tell me I missed something there because that was one of the dumbest things I've seen in the series. I almost thought I was watching Heroes for a moment.
Good catch-up episode and great peek at more of what the island can do. Every week it becomes a little bit more clear.
And now…..we wait.
Oh....the coolest thing they could have done in the episode, was to have Sayid reveal all that to the Captain and then have him say, "I know.", that would have had me applauding.
