@Lobster:
Why are all of the sequals bad?
for almost every Disney movie?
I heard that in "Atlantis 2: Milo's Return" they accidentally put it in modern times, and forgot that the characters from last one became rich.
Well Atlantis 2 was actually the pilot for the abandoned Atlantis animated series that was planned. (And dropped, just like the Atlantis ride in Disneyland, because the movie sucked/bombed)
And the reasons the sequels suck is primarily because they aren't made by the WDFA. It's the Disney TOON people who make them, which explains the sub par animation, and overall crappy production values and lack of effort. They're all made to cash in on these big names, and little if any artistic merit goes into their making.
The only sequels really worth mentioning are Lilo and Stitch 2, Return of Jafar, Peter Pan 2, and Cinderella 3. Those 4 movies were actually well made, had good storylines that didn't feel forced, and quality animation.
And luckily for everyone, the sequels have met their end at the hands of John Lasseter.
edit: also!
I dunno how many have seen this, but just in case:

It's "The Little Match Girl" it's a beautiful animated short based on the short story of the same name. The WDFA made it, and it was going to be part of the then planned third Fantasia movie. However, when that idea was dropped this finished product was left with no where to go.
It ended up on the Little Mermaid DVD that was released last year.
It's really great looking, if Frog Princess looks anything like this I'd be more than satisfied. The soft shadow technique they used worked really well for this piece. It was also the last time Disney used the CAPS system.
