Thanx for the videos dude !

Need to see the episode, but already knowing that Absolom = Hanpen is a good sign. (just need someone to ID Hildorn, he's not even on the JP Wiki entry for Thriller Bark)
-
1,000 thanks for the link, now the strawhats's nightmare begins.
love cerb.s color sceme , zombies next episode ya!!! -
Yup, Hildon is blonde like Hiruma. Those of us who noticed the 21 tattoo being an allusion to Eyeshield 21 might've actually been right.
And the animators messed up on Cerberus' color scheme. The fox's head is supposed to be black too, isn't it? Because I remember that jump cover and volume 46 showing him, and all 3 head were black.
-
Nope, Cerberus' color scheme matches volume 46's cover exactly. They are really doing a good job on TB so far. Next episode looks pretty nice too.
-
I heard some of the bits that weren't in the manga were pretty funny. The fox on Cerberus tries to change its bark to sound tougher. Also, Toei might've intentionally changed the color scheme for that joke.
-
They changed Nami's face. It's different from the last episode. Doesn't look right..
Weird…Her voice sounds different too.

Her regular voice actor must have been out when they were recording this episode so they must of had a replacement for her place.
-
For those of you who're asking, Hildon's seiyuu is Matsuno Taiki.
-
mmm, according to this hildon VA also did koga from inuyasha, Blackbeard pirates navigator Lafitte and spongebob in the Dub Japanese version XP
-
lol so Hildon was already Lafitte and Canpacino.
And no, according to the credits Nami's actress is still the same. There probably would have been an announcement about it like with Robin if it happened.
-
Haha, I laughed so hard when I found out Hildon's VA is the official Japanese voice of Spongebob Squarepants! Now I just hope we don't see any weird fan art.
-
Even scarier: Hildorn is that friggin Pegasus from SMSS! Somehow seeing him as that and Spongebob makes me not trust him. (then again I trust him as Agumon (Savers version), Manjoume and Tsurulina the IV so its not that bad…more like even)
-
Wait, so Manjoume is Spongebob? That's a weird image. XD
! I can't wait for Hogback, that's when it gets good
-
On episode 339 did anyone notice that just after sunnys anchor was dropped sanjis and luffys voices where mixed up?
-
@Fire Fist:
There's a wonderfully drawn manga that's the basis for this anime, I suggest you flip through it from time to time…
I'm already caught up dear. Don't be a dick.
-
-
face palm Not here in this thread please.
It's easy to imagine Hildon's voice coming out of Spongebob's mouth. Very easy.
-
I also really like Hildon's voice. It sounds sort of goofy, yet malevolent to hint that he is up to some mischief. Its a shame he doesn't get much screentime in Thriller Bark though. He might work well for some fillers.
-
I want to see a filler scene where Hogback shows off his supposidly wonderful belly dancing.
-
I'm looking forward to what Hogback sounds like. Earl of the Millenium from D. Gray-man sounds sort of fitting, especially since
! Hogback looks alot like Dr. Eggman from Sonic, and the voice of Earl was Eggman in a Sonic OVA or something.
I bet 4Kids would've used Eggman's voice from the Sonic X dub if they still had One Piece and had gotten to Thriller Bark.
-
Another fun episode, even if the art wasn't on par with last few weeks. The zombie on preview looks kickass though.
These next chapters from TB aren't exactly my favorites, but if they keep adding funny bits like the Cerberus scenes, i can live with it. -
i glad someelse agrees it sould be Junpei TAKIGUCHI he also Commodore Nelson VA
-
I couldn't imagine 'fosfosfosfosfos' being spoken in Eggman's voice. :P
-
does it seem like robin has been giving a little to much fan service first with the vines now the invisible guy trying to have his way with her
-
Yeah, the art seemed little off from time to time but nothing too distracting. A kind of "set-up" episode but once Hogback is introduced, things are starting to move. Oh, and I really liked the Cerberus changing its bark to sound more menacing… great stuff.
-
Nami looked different again. Was there a different art/animation director for this episode?
-

The most important thing is to just get "Fosfosfosfos" in the anime. Except for Brook´s "Yohoho" Toei had a trend of completely ignoring the gimmick laughs of characters lately. Spandam, Spandain, Jabra and Whitebeard were all victims of that ignorance. I hope that Brook was the turning point, but since his laugh sticks that much out even in the manga it was to be expected that Toei gets it right here, so it can´t be used as an indicator. Let´s just hope we get our…

I think that Brook is special because his laugh is about as pirate as you can get. I sort of hope the others keep their laughs but its never guaranteed. (though they did keep Teach's "Zehahahaha" in his fight with Ace so they aren't that ignorant)
As for Robin fanservice…well, that was intentional. Once you know who the "invisible man" is, you'll understand it a bit better.

http://www.myanimeplanet.com/vid/2543.html sub 338
sanji is a mogen lol -
What is Zoro calling Sanji anyway? I never did find out when reading that manga chapter
-
From the sub I watched, Zoro called Sanji a Hoge because Hoge is what Sanji said when Absalom grabbed his feet.
My guess is hoge is just a sound, no real word in particular.
-
Wait, ROBIN FANSERVICE?
When did they mess up with the story to add such a thing?
PS:
Damn, I had forgot why Absalom was my hero. XD
Anyways, I'm glad they didn't made it ridiculously long.

Um…wot?
All those laughs were kept...
Wasn't Spandam's simply "Wa ha ha ha"? I remember hearing all the other ones, though.

They kept "Zehahaha" because it already appeared during the Jaya arc. Voice actors from back then keep their stuff (as can be seen in OP games). It´s the new laughs that get messed up. Spandam and Spandain didn´t bother me that much, while Jabra did. But Whitebeards laugh pissed my really of because the original "Gurararara" just fits for a geezer and I so much wanted to hear it. :(
-
Great episode. Loved the "hoge" part. Can't wait to see how they're gonna do Hogback's laugh. I couldn't even think of it in my head when I was reading the manga.
-
Like half the time you could here Spandam's "Wahaha". The other half it sounded like he was saying "Dahaha" or something.

I thought it was supposed to be a very girly scream/sound or somthing
-

What makes you think that?
-
-
@Geg:
From Japanese Wiki:
Hogback is Hiroshi Iwasaki
Cindry is Houko Kuwashima
Hogback - Shukaku (well he is a mad monster…sort of)
Cindry - Chirruchi, Kagura (Azumanga Daioh), Sango (IY), Yurika (Nadesico), Flay (Gundam SEED), Kolulu (Gash)
-
Hogback is the Japanese C3PO. I find that amusing.
-

Don't forget Going Merry.
-
Don't forget Seung Mina from Soul Calibur and Kasumi from Dead or Alive.
-
!
-
Hmmm…looks like they revealed Brooks fighting style already.
-
Wow, colors, shades, and art in those caps are nice.
-
You beat me to it. The one last Sunday was terrible in that regard.
-
That's lame, they're revealing Brooke's fighting style too early XD
! Brooke slashing Taleran
could be half as awesome as in the Manga now D: And I don't like the colour scheme of the Centaurus Guy, but the rest of the screencaps looks good. -
Now what I think, is that it's a quick flash of Brook's fighting style, not a lengthy scene featuring him fighting.
