Well, Jerry Seinfeld has never let us down before. Here's hoping this lives up to my speculation.
Bees sue all humanity for stealing their honey

-
lol, the teaser trailers are hilarious. Looks like a fun movie, especially with Jerry Seinfeld in it. Cannot wait. Also, is Chris Rock in this one?
-
Yup. A lot of comedians are in it.
-
BEES!!! Do they invite all of humanity into a room filled with CO2 and watch them perish from above? If so, then I'll see it.
-
This is one instance where I'm grateful for the Seinfeld Curse.
-
I love how the teaser trailer is live-action, featuring the actors in costumes of their respected roles.
-
The awesomeness of this movie cannot be contained in one post.
-
^Are you serious. I hate to be a kill joy, but this movie looks pretty lame…
-
I'm not very fond of Seinfields voice turning all high pitch when he talks.,,sounds weird.
-
I don't find Seinfeld funny, like a lot of people, soo…yeah.
-
-
Come on, folks. You know Seinfeld wouldn't do a project unless he thought it was good. And, he did come up with the idea for this. I'm expecting some seinfeld comedy in there. Plus, they take people to court! It's not like ants where "We must fight the humans! Onward, men!"
Who said Seinfeld was going to make his voice high-pitched?

@Pass:

That's what I'm afraid of.
-
I'm not sure if this movie is meant to make a mockery or not, of the claim that the genetic alteration of the corn fields by Monsanto is doing something to the bees (killing them? Not sure) and as a result allergies have been recorded to be at higher rates this year than previous years on a steady upscale trend. Either way, the movie itself seems ok, I'm not a big fan of animated movies that don't include ex-snl cast members as VA's.
-
I like how a lot of people asume that Jerry Seinfeld is the funnioest man alive, because he had his name on a very funny TV show.
-

Tilts head to one side Seinfeld Curse? Anyone care to tell me what that is?
Anyways, the trailer gave me a few laughs, so I might check it out. I saw Seinfeld a few times and found it funny, but I don't know what to expect from this movie.

Yeah, honestly. I'd really be more excited about a Larry David movie, seeing as he really is the Seinfeld character from the Seinfeld show and Seinfeld (the real guy) is just an actor playing the role. If you look at the guy's life, his interviews, or even his show "Curb Your Enthusiasm," it seems pretty obvious that he was most of the stylistic and writing power behind Seinfeld.
On top of that, the few characters he played in the show were just plain funny.
-
Hell, Seinfeld wasn't even that funny in the show compared to Jason Alexander, Michael Richards, and even Jerry Stiller.
-
Have you seen his standup?that guy is a snoozfest..
Anyway back on topic…..unless the bee's have their own version of "the contest"This movie is not gonna be good
-
@Pass:

He hasn't had a chance to let us down yet.
Larry David was the driving force beind his sitcom anyway, so I'm still skeptical regrding this movie.
-
@Pass:
Who said Seinfeld was going to make his voice high-pitched?
He just seems to have a falsetto voice when he acts.
-
Well some of us acutally like Seinfeld's humor. It's better than laughing at Dave Chappelle saying dog food tastes delicious, which is considered the best thing since sliced bread for some reason.
@Radical:Anyway back on topic…..unless the bee's have their own version of "the contest"This movie is not gonna be good
Okay, so here's out idea for a movie. A bunch of bees get together…...... and have a masturbation contest. Eh, what do you think, boss? Box office gold?
-
@Senshi:

It is a joke about how everbody who worked in Seinfeld but Jerry Seinfeld didn't have a sucessful career after that show. Just look at Michael Richards for instance =P
But hey, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss is starring a sitcom that's still on air. I guess…
-
Yeah, basically everyone (save maybe Jason Alexander) that tried to make it on their own got screwed.
Maybe Wayne Knight made some money on that awful Kids WB kung fu cartoon, but I would still consider that a miss for taste's sake.

I was joking at first but for some reason….That seems tens times more funny.It would make 100 million in the first weekend.
your not the only who likes seinfeld.That guy is huge in the comedic busisness. A little overated if you ask me
-

I don't know. Julie Louis-Dreyfus won a golden globe for her lead role in The New Adventures of Old Christine, which has become a hit.
Jason…...... did KFC commercials for a while, a children's movie about a monkey, and sang a song on a family guy cd called 'all cartoon characters are diks'. Yeah, real successful.
Seinfeld hasn't seen much scuccess because he has decided to stay out of the public eye after the end of the show. But he has done, he has been good at. Rather than get into movies, he returned to his passion of stand-up comedy. He released a documentary titled Comedian a few years. It had a limited release, but it was awesome.
There's no doubt that Michael Richards has recieved the short end of the stick.

Bumping this thread since the movie hits theaters this Friday.
-
And here I was wondering if there was a thread for this.I might be seeing the movie on opening day. hope its not a waste of 6.00 though.
-
Kung Fu Panda is gonna beat the heck out of this movie…
-
I just got back from the theater and I liked it. A nice cast, good jokes, interesting plot. Certainly not everyone's cup of tea, but I recommend you see this if it already has your interest piqued.
One thing about it though that bothered me is that Seinfeld's character starts out as a bee of individuality but quickly drops that to be just another member of the hive.

RACISM.
' …............. -
Hey.
Dave Chappelle is pretty good.
Don't penalize him`because stupid people make some of his worst jokes into fads.
-
Ah, I had forget about this "Bee Movie"….
But you know, since the Bee doesn't look like a retarded Panda, there's a slight chance that I may end enjoying it...
-
Film was great. Very crowded showing but still enjoyed the film
I must say though. THis is and might be the 1st Animated film based on Current events

Not in the slightest, my friend.
-
My Newspaper gave it 5 stars, the first one I've ever seen get that.
And y'know, my local newspaper movie critic is VERY top-notch apparently.
-
As much as I enjoyed this movie…..... FIVE?! Out of what?
-
Out of Five.
And this is from a usually anti-mainstream reviewer.
-
Hey…
I liked Seinfeld's character on Seinfeld...
(Also, George was the character modeled after Larry David)
-
I have to admit ever since the first preview I've seen of this film, I thought it looked totally stupid. But maybe I'll give it a chance.
-
I thought it was good. definately worth your money unlike 30 days of Night. Liked the jewish jokes in it too, they were unexpected.
-
Despite this movie being G rated, it certainly let a few naughty jokes slide through;
! - The bed-bug joke
- The word "lust" thrown in the movie
That's all I could remember.
- The word "lust" thrown in the movie

Saw this movie earlier today. I liked it. Well, actually i think the plot was kinda "meh", but i really dig the designs used for the film. would have loved to see some more insects, like a spider.
Stings cameo was a win, and Liotta too. Was the fat lawyer based on some famous person too? -
I would have liked this movie better if it had been live action like in the original preview.
-
@El:
Stings cameo
Hey guys.
I have a sudden, unexplainable interest in this movie.
