Never played them, but I heard that those CDi Zelda games were crappy.
Worst Game
-
-
Shining Tears for ps2, the only thing fun was the gameplay, but thats after an ammense time of loading and long ass talking that you can't skip.
-
Dragonball Z: Ultimate Battle 22. Slow, glitchy and no fun at all.
Oh, and any kids movie tie-in, any football/American Football/whatever sports game that gets released every year with nothing new added.
-
hmmm… I think Dragonball GT Final Bout cause it didn't have the best graphics in the world and there was not so much to do (maybe it's me). It was also very short :(.
I agree with Demon Days on the kids movie tie-in, the sad thing about that is the company don't care whether it's fun at all. They just sell for the money and thats no fun at all.
-
It was either Final Bout or Ultimate Battle 22. One of them was crap.
-
Well FF FB is crap and Ultimate Battle 22 sounds crap too so maybe they are both crap :3 (makes no sense some how).
-
Ultimate Battle 22 sucked.
I second Batman Forever!
I hated Jaws on NES.
DOnt forget the lameness of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.
Sasuke…. YOUR AVATAR IS A FRIGGING WALLPAPER! -
lol Minesweeper LOL  Just kidding.
Hm, I'll have to say Prince of Persia 3D and Postal. Those were really awful.
-
i don't remember what it was called but it was some megaman game for the gc like megaman nt warrior thing. i hated that game like no freaking tommorow
-
The worst game ever was "A boy and his blob" it was short, and stupid and hand a very dumb ending.
theres going to be a "Boy and his Blob" for the Nintendo DS XD
Well.. I say… SUPERMAN 64!
-
@Cap'n:
I absolutly totaly forgot about "Enter The Matrix". The crappest game on the Playstation 2 if you ask me, the only one good thing about that Hunk-O-Junk was the little Hacker game that only took like an hour if that to finish. It did make you feel like you where in a database. If they worked more on that part of the game and sold that for £39.99, then maybe just maybe i would of got it. But they way it is, with they really made Acting, Models, Animation and Gameplay. I wont go near it with a Bargepole. Thank god i only rented it.
LOL I bouhgt it, Im a die hard matrix fan so Im like "OMFG!!!! you get to play with Niobi and Ghost????!!!!??? There will be sceans that they only taped for the game????!!!!!???? OMFG!!!!!" so I rushed to the store as soon as it opened, forked over 50$, rushed home and after a hour of playning I just quit, but I saved it because Im gonna trade it in for Path of Neo comeing out in a Month, and that looks frickin sweet!=)
-
FF7, the PC port, had showstopping reliability issues. As in "when you got to a certain movie, it would always bomb"
A fair number of titles were too difficult…. Fester's Quest and Dragon Fighter on the NES
Pin-Bot (NES) had awful graphics in an attempt to go for realism, the colours made it all but nonplayable.
Adventures of Bayou Billy (NES)-- it seemed like a good concept-- let's do a game with a bit of everything-- shoot'em up with a rifle, martial arts, driving, but all the subunits suck.
Super Mario 64. Mario's voice sucked, there wasn't enough variety (You must replay each level 7 times to get the best ending, and it doesn't even unlock Bon Clay or Crocodile for doing it. :D)
-
Super Mario 64. Mario's voice sucked, there wasn't enough variety (You must replay each level 7 times to get the best ending, and it doesn't even unlock Bon Clay or Crocodile for doing it. :D)
wow.. I dont think I've ever disagreed more >__>;
I love Mario 64.. Mario's voice is fine..
of course you need to replay each level.. you have to get the different stars.. at about 7 per level, of course you'll have to play it over again to get them all. -
Well, the voice is an obnoxious Italian stereotype.
And I'd rather have 120 distinct play-once levels than 15 "play 8 times" levels.
-
@HellBladeKnight:
Kingdom Hearts is one of the worst games EVER.
I hope you… FUCKING END UP IN HELL!
-
Anyone who says that Mario 64 is one of the worst games ever isn't allowed to have any opinion on anything else.
and GT Final Bout was good, I thought. Ultimate Battle 22 is the stinker.
The worst games I've played?
- Batman Forever
- Home Alone
- Portal Runner (the fact that it's an Army Men spinoff should be plenty of reasoning)
- Digimon World
- Primal Rage
There's bound to be more, but I can't remember. The Clayfighter games were pretty bad, but have too much charm for me to hate them.
-
Nono Digimon world was fun! Though very hard… I never finished it, and it was a real pain to clean thw world from poo, but it was some really nice music in it. And it was also very hard to get uniqe digimons.. And You could also get those cool cards.. ahh nice memories
-
Batman Forever….. I almost borrowed it from a friend, but I saved my brain by looking on the back of the box first.
And B1B, that tilt reminds me of Gamefaqs reviews. If you look up a piece of crap, you can find someone that gave it a 10/10, and an at least decent game may have a 1/10. Unless you've only played one game your whole life, I don't see it.
....Oh, and bad fighters:
Buukuu Retsuden. Worst DBZ game ever. That should really say something.
Hiryuu no Ken. They couldn't have been serious with that one.
and worst fighter I've ever played, Hokuto no ken 7. -
There was this one Square-Enix rpg for Ps2 which had an overworld map so bad i have blocked the name and the rest of the game from my memory. (Please don't tell me the name)

The worst game I ever played.
Hmmmm… that's going to take some time thinking on my part. And I have a few set details on why it's a worst game every.
Take Voodoo Vince for the X-Box. I love it to death. Really. I love it to death. Great concept. Good VA. Good graphics. What makes it so bad? Bottomless Pits I say! Bottomless pits!
That's where a gameplay element affects the over all game. Yes, I still play it.
Another one that comes to mind would be XIII. There were three reasons why I bought this the first time. I like FPS. It has Adam West! It had David Duchovny!
Yeah. I'm lame. And damn proud of it, too!
What got me there... was that it's hard. It's really, really, really hard!
I could continue... but... I don't have enough time, really...
-
I didn't think Final Bout was the most worst but I guess I loved it more when I first recieved :3 But now when I look at it, I guess I sort of outplayed it enough. Though I've heard lots of bad things about 22.
I agree with Solid on the digimon, it was great to play it after a long break from it but the poo thing really irritates me. Though it's not a bad game but the difficulty is pretty tough (great for people who like care taking, unlike me who has bad luck at it).
-
Nono Digimon world was fun! Though very hard… I never finished it, and it was a real pain to clean thw world from poo, but it was some really nice music in it. And it was also very hard to get uniqe digimons.. And You could also get those cool cards.. ahh nice memories
Yes Digimon World was fun, but Digimon World 4 suck like hell!!!! OMG you know how annoying the loading time is. Its got to be the most longest game ever, cause its takes forever to load. Not to mention the overly powerful enemies you have to face, and how repetitive the fighting style is. The only thing good is that its multiplayer, but then that has its issues too. You got to train them as well which takes a seemingly impossible time to do.
-
Oh yeah, Enter the Matrix was godawful as well. I mean, they may as well have made you invincible, as you can just go hide behind a pillar and your health will be fully restored.
As for Digimon World… I bought it, and played it for a while, and just couldn't get into it. The ugly graphics didn't help much, either... Maybe I was hard on it, now that I think about it I don't think it's "worst ever" material.
-
2 games:
-ET the extraterrestial… is so bad that is fun for some reason
-FFX... i fell asleep so many times i lost count... I HATE TIDUS AND YUNA!!!i think i didn't get it...
goes out to play obscure jap RPGs
-
@Oi:
-Messages Advice.-
I was going to think of something really funny before, and say the worst game I ever played was… well, Your and something else. You know what I mean.
Anyway, onto another terrible game I've played. Cho Aniki for the Super Famicom.
That was a lot of fun in a chopper.
Are you KIDDING? I love Choaniki! Adam will always be the sexiest man alive…god, I feel like playing that now. :D
-
Cho Aniki was pretty cool. Not very good gameplay, but eh.
-
A pretty bad game I remember seeing in a review was Torneko: The Last Hope for the Playstation. I never played it but it looked a lot like the game company took the graphics from the original pong game and then downgraded it.
Hmm, a bad game I have played was this Ren and Stimpy NES game. I think it had a glitch or something because it was impossible to beat the second level. After you beat the boss, you just sat there and stared at the screen while nothing happened.
-
@The:
Metal Gear Solid 2.
No wait…Final Fantasy X.
Puts gun down.
Ahh Real Monsters for Genesis made me waste so much money, and GT Final Bout is just pitiful.
-
Nono Digimon world was fun! Though very hard… I never finished it, and it was a real pain to clean thw world from poo, but it was some really nice music in it. And it was also very hard to get uniqe digimons.. And You could also get those cool cards.. ahh nice memories
Uhm, no it wasn't. XD
-
not by far the worst game ever but probably the one that disapointed me most and that game was Metal gear solid 2,
hideo kojima where the hell did you go wrong :( (thought he returned to the good side with MGS3^^), -
Nah, the 2nd was quite god, even though some the characters was quite lame…
-
well its not that it was such an awful game just that i was expecting so much more from the sequal to the prehaps best game on the PS1,
it was fine up til the part where you board Arsenal gear from there it just went down hill with crappy plot twists and such.
-
I don't really like games that take a long time to load XD especially digimon world (probably the worst thing in the game). Loading really ruins the gameplay for me X(.
-
Superman NES - Now if Superman is supposed to be the " Man Of Steel"
tell me why & the hell can he be shot & lose healthSuperman 64 - See the above, add in bad graphics & Superman having to fly through a set of rings on the first level and you get a classic bad game
Terminator 2 NES - respawing enemies really made me stop playing this game & made me delete the rom
Max Payne 2 PS2 - You'd figured that since the first games graphics weren't bad that the graphics in this game would follow suit I was horribly horribly wrong
Predator NES - horribly bad graphics even by NES standards
Home Alone 2 SNES - A friend loaned me this gamein 2nd grade & I thought it
was a good game fast forward a few years with me downloading the rom that opinion of the game changed ever so quicklyBatman Forever - used to be one of my favorite games but thanx in part to the end of stage 2 and the Circus lstage I stopped playing this game completely
Any of the WWE games on the XBOX
True Crime L.A. - Wasn't that bad but wasn't that good either
Spider-Man The Movie - the looselessness of the story & the limited freedom really killed this game
Enter The Matrix - Nuff Said
The Getaway - The first game wasn't that bad but the facts that
-You car likes jerking to either the left or right when the tires go flat
-The lack of a diverse number of weapons
-The length of the game
-No heath items (you have to lean against a wall for heatlh recovery)
-No body armor
-You can't store your stolen cars away
-No Map (you have follow your blinkers)
-Driving Missions are usually timed
Were what really brought this game downSpartan X/Kung Fu - I don't care what anybody says about this bosses
take off too, much health the 2 boss is a pain in the ass, the midgets are a pain in the ass, & the falling pots & the buckshots are also a pain in the assBases Loaded games after 1 - balls are harder the hit & the outfield perspective sucks
Marvel vs X-Men - Specials aren't easy to pull off like Marvel vs Street Fighter
& Marvel vs CapcomKOF 2002 - Story sucks & what's the point to fighting Angel
Dragonball Z Budokai 3 - I know this game isn't that bad the only problems I had with this game were the fact that certain characters weren't in the game, the capsule edit sux major ass, & there's no japanese voice over option (although this is supposed to be in the Special Edition.)
Dragonball Z Sagas - hmmm bad enough to make a devout Dragonball Z lover
hate the seriesDragonball Gokuden SNES - the battle system sux beyound belief & winds up causing problem in your first fight
Dragonball Advanced Adventeure - Too many gaps in the story & the enemies are lacking humans in their line-up I mean not all the enemies Goku fought were Animals,Monsters, Or Robots
One Piece Swan Coliseum - Dimps defintely wasn't thinking when they made this game I mean sure the graphics are good, the fighting system is about average but why must the game be beaten on hard without continuing to unlock something, back this up with the fact that fights are only one round
Usopp & Tashigi are somewhat diffucult to play as & certain opponents can be cheapit defintely would make you stop playing immediatelyOne Piece Grand Battle GBA - I know some people are gonna hate me for this but please listen to my complaints
-Luffy's Mid-Air GG No Muchi has been removed
-Levels are too damn long & can be hard to get through
-Special meter drains even if you don't hit somebody
-Can only play as Luffy
-Bosses are diffucult enough to make bosses in the old Ninja Gaiden games
play like a boss from The new Hello Kitty game
-Luffy loses health if shot -
@Sandai:
Max Payne 2 PS2 - You'd figured that since the first games graphics weren't bad that the graphics in this game would follow suit I was horribly horribly wrong
The Getaway - The first game wasn't that bad but the facts that

-No body armor
-You can't store your stolen cars away
-No Map (you have follow your blinkers)
-Driving Missions are usually timed
Were what really brought this game downSo…you're only reason for hating Max Payne 2 is that the graphics didn't meet your expectations? Wow.
As for the Getaway, the creators were aiming for a more realistic kind of game as opposed to a complete clone of Grand Theft Auto III. That explains the car going all over the place when the tires are shot, leaning against the wall for health recovery, lack of "diverse" weapons (like a British gang will carry around rocket launchers and sniper rifles all the time) and no map. As for the timed drving missions, it stress urgency with the story. There's no point in going after Mark Hammond's son if you could do it at your own leisure in the first mission. With storing cars, it was added in the sequel but since most of the time, you are in a rush or you don't need a car, and therefore unessecary to save your generic cars that you steal. As for the story..well, you are playing two different characters that experience the same events at the same time so the story would be kind of long when the player is doing a mission with Mark and then later, the player experiences the same mission results through Frank Carter.
It's a really fun game, if you don't give a fuck about it not being "open ended" like what everyone else is doing these days.
-
Worst Game hmmm…
YOSHI'S COOKIE FOR NES! OMG!
-
I know SCEA was trying to make the Getaway into a more realistic version of the Grand Theft Auto Series but come on there where only like 5 or 6 weapons no Molotovs No Grenades, leaning against a wall after being shot repeatedly, the fact that the driving missions are timed are stupid anyway you look at it, there was no excuse as to why there wasn't a map this makes the driving missions all the more difficult the only good thing about the game was the story.
And please understand my complaints about Max Payne 2 when I played the first game on the PS2 I liked it graphics even after knowing the Xbox version had better graphics so when I bought Max Payne 2 I was expecting it to have good graphics like the first & it didn't Remedy really took a step backwards when they developed the 2nd game for PS2
And a game being open ended like the GTA series or the newer Spider-Man games adds a bit more depth and/or replayability to the game with the sole exception of having two different endings like The Getaway

1. Big Rig
Graphics were the lowest quality I've ever seen, no sound at all, your opponent doesn't even move, you pass through solid objects, absolutely no challenge at all!
I was so furious after playing that game. I spent most of the rest of the day yelling at anyone who said anything to me.
2. E.T.
You've already seen enough posts here to know why this sucked.
3. Some real-time war squad game on the PC that came out in 2003
There was no squad(?), there was this annoying siren that I couldn't stop, graphics were kind of murky (I had to squint to see a ladder), and the game shut itself down while loading the 2nd level. The one thing I loved was the enemies, they were hilarious! If they ran out of bullets they would stalk you, if you shot them they would die by saying I'll kill you, and they liked to dance around and do the jitterbug when I was shooting them (that's what it looked like they were doing)
4. One Piece Grand Battle (The American version done by 4KIDS)
Another piece of evil spewed from the money-grubbers that are 4KIDS. Besides some bad-sounding lines, it's a complete mockery of One Piece! AND IT STILL HAS THOSE GOD-AWFUL DUBBED VOICES FROM HELL!!! F:evil:CK YOU, 4KIDS!!!
-
Um as much as I hate to 4 Kid$$$ isn't to blame for Grand Battle Bandai Ganbarion, & Dimps are
-
@Sandai:
Um as much as I hate to 4 Kid$$$ isn't to blame for Grand Battle Bandai Ganbarion, & Dimps are
Yeah, but it still has those horrible dubbed voices. I think the game would have been better If I didn't have to listen to Luffy's squeeky voice for so long. Oh, and I forget to mention how they changed some of the characters names (Miss Goldenweek=Miss April Fools' Day) and the fact that this game is the reason why 4KIDS skipped so many episodes!
But you're right, Sandai Mera. Bandai, Ganbarion, & Dimps are partially responsible for this mess. But (in my opinion) 4KIDS is mostly responsible. Afterall, I hate this game because of what 4KIDS has done to it, not the gameplay (which I thought it was okay).
-
No Bandai published the original game & Ganbarion developed so the blame falls on them majorly they could have just not released this game or any other One Piece game in America but it's your opinion.
I myself hate Atari for making Budokai 3 and not giving it a japanese VO option forcing me to listen to the dub VO's which isn't as bad as One Piece GB's VO, but as I said earlier their supposed to be releasing a Special Edition which will feature the japanese VO but still makes me mad since I bought the regular version a few weeks ago but then again that means I won't have to relearn how to play the game.
-
Marvel vs X-Men - Specials aren't easy to pull off like Marvel vs Street Fighter
& Marvel vs CapcomYes, but that was first in a long line of crossovers. So of course Capcom was still on the drawing board with it at the time, though they did get better.
KOF 2002 - Story sucks & what's the point to fighting Angel
It was a dream match, there wasn't a story at all. Just a bunch of characters knocking of each other around.
-
I guess you're right about KOF 2002 but anybody complaining about KOF Fighters 97 or 98 (the one with Orochi) being the worsest KOF game really needs to shift their opinion to KOF 2002
-
Oh, FF8. Boring, stupid fighting system and too easy bosses. Plus a main character who sucks.
-
Hm, I wasn't much of a fan of Marsupilami or Judge Dredd for Genesis.
Or "The Bouncer" for Playstation. What a bore.
But the worst games ever? Nah, probably not.
-
@Sandai:
Superman NES - Now if Superman is supposed to be the " Man Of Steel"

Honestly wondering….either of you do reviews for Gamefaqs?
-
Yeah, i thought i'd seen those critisisms somewhere on the boards…
-
Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah Right the reviewers on Gamefaqs & especially IGN aren't always right with their reviews I mean how the hell can anybody hate Super Mario Bros & like Superman for for the NES
