@Fire Fist:
Let's see… Doflamingo Donquixote's name comes from the French fairy-tale about an old man who had dementia and thought he was a knight; he and an idiot named Poncho traveled through Europe slaying "Dragons" and fighting "monsters", which were usually just windmills and watermills and such.
okay Don Quixote isn't a french fairy tale, it's a spanish satire. Big difference. The guy who follows him around isn't named "Poncho" either, it's sancho panza, a panza is a beer belly in spanish, it's a play on words saying he's a fat drunk. He follows Quixote around because he's his neighbor and he doesn't want anyone pissed at him because Don Quixote gets hurt. He doesn't go all over Europe either, just northern spain.
The Whole book is basically symbolism for the stance Spain was taking historically during the time, that would take awhile to explain. A little spanish lesson for ya. Spain, the old man trying fight for what's right while the whole world around him collapses into sin and debauchery. That's also why it's funny they call him DoFlamingo Don Quixote, he doesn't believe in dreams, but that's what Don Quijote was a dreamer,
The guy from Skypeia, I forget his name, the one that Chopper fought, he reminds me of Prince a little bit, maybe more so of Dave Chappelle as Prince.
and I can't find a picture of the guy I'm talking about, he was one of the priests though, I'm sure someone will know who I'm talking about. Swamp trial guy I think.
