I still think Bonney's crew status entirely depends on Kuma's outcome. If he dies then I would give it a 90% because she has nowhere to really go after that (unless the Revos show up and she wants to go their way for some reason). If Kuma lives then she has a 0% chance because she'll always pick her father over anyone else, even Nika.
I don’t get why ppl think Kuma is still alive. Especially if Vegapunk is dead dead.
Because he's not dead yet. They've commented on how his mind should be wiped and yet he keeps getting up and moving and acting whenever he needs to protect Bonney. And they've now removed him from the action with the Giants. So unless Saturn or Kizaru manages to get back to Bonney and Kuma gets back up and jumps back into the fray to protect her, he's getting out of this 'alive'.
Basically, if Kuma makes it out of Egghead Island itself, then that counts as him being alive, even if he is still in his vegetable state.
You said he keeps getting up as if he has got up again.
He showed up, protected his daughter and then dropped dead. He’s been carried around ever since showing no signs of life.
The way I interpreted things were his special nature as a buccaneer allowed him to keep going but not indefinitely. It’s not like the shitting him down had no effect or didn’t work at all.
Kuma’s body getting out of this doesn’t point to him being alive after this. At best maybe he gets one more goodbye but I kinda doubt even that.
This is actually wrong. When Kizaru cut the lift in half and the pacifistas were about to shoot them all, Kuma activated once again and put himself between the lasers and Bonney. Same when Kizaru then fired his lasers at them. Whenever Bonney is in danger, he acts.
I think Kuma getting out = him alive partly for this reason but also because I can't see Oda giving Kuma a peaceful passing on the ship. It's going to be some kind of Whitebeard style sacrifice. And even if he's just unconcious, as long as there's a chance he could move then Bonney will stay with him. Remember, her goal was to have Vegapunk try to bring him back. If she leaves Egghead with the three Punks and Kuma, they'll almost certainly stick together at that point.
