which of the new DC shows are worth watching?
Doom Patrol, Titans…. and how about Constantine I know it's not exactly new but I love the character in the comics is it worth picking up?

I haven't seen Doom Patrol yet.
Titans…I was not a fan of. Actors were honestly fine for me, but the show just felt....off. I only got into it in the last few episodes to be honest. The next season will need to improve a lot to keep me invested.
I haven't seen Constantine either except for his appearences on Arrow and Legends of Tomorrow. I absolutely love him in those! A friend of mine started watching Legends just because they added Constantine and he loved his solo show. So it's on my list to check out.
And I could be wrong, but I believe they were making animated Constantine episodes for CW Seed ala Vixen's show(with Matt Ryan reprising the role)

Doom patrol is freaking weird. Watch the first 2 see what you think. You can either find it entertaining or obnoxious.
Titans is just ok. Skip it.
Try legion that's a good show.

I need to get back on Doom Patrol, but the 4th wall breaking villain/narrator annoys the hell outta me.
Only seen clips of Titans. It's a show with potential. The clips with Dick and Jason Todd (Batman's new partner) were fun. I'm actually interested in giving the second season a shot, especially because…
! Superboy and Krypto are joining the cast.
The last couple episodes of Supergirl have been great.
! I like that Lex was behind the entire Agent Liberty storyline. Also John Cryer's performance of Lex have been really great.
Confirmed today that in Crisis on Infinite Earths, Brandon Routh will not only be playing his main role as Ray Palmer, but will be reprising his role of Superman from Superman Returns and encounter the Earth 38(supergirl show's earth) version of Superman.
They really are hyping up this year of the Arrowverse in a great way.
In addition(while I don't have the links handy) they've shown the new costumes this season for Oliver(who did an adorable side by side having his daughter wear the season 1 suit next to him in the new one), Supergirl(who has gained pants) and Flash, though they haven't shown the confirmed (and much needed) chinstrap return.
Now can they get Tom Welling in there too…
I hope Flash has a good suit. I hated the one for season 5. Hated it. They should give him either season 3 or 4 costume. Both are really good. Hated season 5 costume a lot. 90s Flash looked great tho.
If any more news comes for crisis please spoiler it. I'm already plenty hyped and want to be surprise as much as I can for this crossover.

I enjoy the progression of the suit as time has gone on. I liked the season 4 suit, but I do admit it feels more like the 90's movies batsuits than a hero making a suit with a team of super scientists.
I liked the season 5 suit except for it missing the chin strap, which felt natural and looked well in the previous suits. I like the material in the 5th season suit, but from the image of the season 6 promo it looks like they really improved on the design of it.
Now can they get Tom Welling in there too…
Honestly, I think we will finally see Welling in a Superman suit in this crossover.
They haven't confirmed it at all but given the sheer amount of fanservice specifically pandered to Smalliville, I think it's extremely likely. Welling is good friends with Stephen Amell(Oliver), on a few episodes(including a relatively recent episode) of Michael Rosenbaum's(Lex from Smallville) podcast he's made jokes about being "confirmed into the arroverse" while always instantly saying "I'm kidding. Not actually happening".
But they've laid it out very easy to have happen in Crisis. Hell, when they showed Earth 90 in the Elseworld crossover, the Green Arrow showed killed in that earth was very clearly wearing the costume of the Smallville GA.
I think they're just waiting til the last second to milk him appearing.
Welling putting on the suit means him having to get in shape for it - unless its a quick view.

I'd like to know who says he's not in shape.

Oi oi. Okay then. Remember seeing him chubby a few years back. Hes also a tall guy.

Well I don't think he has an 8-pack anymore but I think he would do just fine.
Well I don't think he has an 8-pack anymore but I think he would do just fine.
I always thought* him not donning the Superman outfit in the final episode of Smallville was a shape thing. Not that the was out of shape, but he wasn't exactly taking his shirt off like in season 1 either. Or just the hassle of making a costume, dunno.
At SDCC Brandon Routh teased more on the specifics of his Superman role in the crossover
! It seems like they're playing with elements from Kingdom Come with his Superman
Another DC TV show alumni will have a cameo in COIE:
I think it's a really cool one, so if you want to be surprised, don't read this:
! Burt Ward, who played Robin in the 1966 Batman show:

Holy Shit….

I'm so fucking happy over this. I'm so fucking happy about this holy shit.
And Hamil is already a regular recurring actor in the Arrowverse.
This really is looking to be the pinnacle of ANY DC live action works. Films included.

Confirmed cameos by Burt Ward, Brandon Routh as a version of Kingdom Come Superman, and now Kevin Conroy as old man Bruce Wayne(We talking Dark Night Returns or Batman Beyond?!)
If they are telling us all this now….what surprises AREN'T THEY telling us about?!
If they are telling us all this now….what surprises AREN'T THEY telling us about?!
One reveal I'm guessing they are trying to save as long as they can is Tom Welling reprising his role from Smallville. The Arrowverse has laid the groundwork plotwise(showing a version of the Smallville Green Arrow from Earth 90 dying in Elseworlds) and reference wise(playing the Smallville theme during elseworlds).
Welling has openly joked for years that he's "confirmed for the Arrowverse" on Michael Rosenbaum's podcast (Lex from Smallville, Wally West from Justice League) a few times. But he is friends with Stephen Amell and the cast of Super Natural and still has a close relationship with the producers from CW, which includes the Arrowverse.
Given Smallville kind of kicked off the 2000's era of live action DC super hero shows, I'd imagine they're waiting to confirm him as late as they can to build up hype.
But given as you stated, people like Burt fucking Ward have signed on, so I'm guessing he's coming back and they're just trying to spread to news bursts they can gain.
Only downside of this crossover is how it's airing.
Don't have the official dates on me, but more or less half of the crossover is airing in the first two weeks of December, while the rest will air mid January. They're sticking to their regular schedule for the Arrowverse shows, but unfortunately deciding to have Crisis air throughout this.
I think this is a very bad decision as a viewer, yet get why they're doing it. My assumption is they're hoping people tune in for the first airings, while also watching the inevitable "reruns" of the other parts of the crossover that will air before the "new" parts that will air mid january.
So if you wanna watch half of this big crossover, feel free to in December. If you wanted to watch this amazing thing in one go though, you'll half to wait a month and a half after it first starts.
I don't think I'll be able to help myself and will be watching in December.
DC Legends confirmed news: The worst actor in the Arrowverse is finally leaving. I hated this guy's portrayal of Ray. He ruined Superman and Atom. He was annoying on Arrow, but when he was announced for Legends, I thought maybe he'd get better here. Nope, not at all. He got worse and was able to display how tiring he can be. He couldn't be the quirky, funny, intellectual that he going for, so he would mess up every joke and just be the cornball that he naturally is. That wasn't even funny. The only thing that was funny was him and his wife having to exit the show at the same time.
Young Justice:
! Great finale. I missed it last week, so I watched all 4 episodes just now. I knew once Gar and Cyborg went to the side, they were good. They didn't leave any conflicts open and addressed the issue of hiding shit from each other. Jefferson got his shine and was rewarded with a larger leadership role in the league. At first, I was disappointed in how he was just with his new boo all season and mostly distracted or displeased with the actions of the league. Then, it paid off and his role in this chaos that he was the voice of reason.
! I liked that Conner got to embrace who he is publicly, but that subplot was at times ignored. It paid off well, but it wasn't that much prevalent due to multiple storylines on hold to thread together in the end. There was more of his issues with Megan than their was his struggle with coming out. It paid off for him, Forager and the Genomorphs. Just was planted a lil too late for my taste.
! Granny was dope as an antagonist. She pissed off Gar n literally got in his head, got over on the team a bunch of times, was better than Steppenwolf (JL), was able to go out in public n taunt niggas, and took over the League (not a big deal since they've been nerfed, but still dope).
! S4 has Legion Of Superheroes, hopefully more League of Assassins (cuz Jason), Jefferson as a League chair, and i'm trying to guess the main antagonist. Can't be Brion cuz he's being manipulated and the Light is usually the companion villains in the story, so I doubt they're the main villains. Maybe Darkseid finally gets off his ass and slaps niggas around.
So it's been officially confirmed by Marc Guggenheim.
! Tom Wellling will be reprising his Smallville role as Superman for Crisis.
As extremely happy as all of the news of these cameos makes me, part of it does make me sad. Because realistically if he was alive, I have little doubt that Adam West would be participating :/
So it's been officially confirmed by Marc Guggenheim
1- That's awesome.
2- Could you spoiler it? Someone might like the reveal in the show itsself.

Thanks.
But I'm really excited At this point
! I never finished Smallville but I really enjoyed the Clark/Lex relation from back then. And I'm more than happy to see someone from back then. They basically have everyone you could have wished for. I mean who isn't represented at this point?
I'll spoiler tag this but my reaction…....
! SOMEBODY
SAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAVE ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
! I never thought that bastard would come back but I'm glad. Jeez Louise, this is going to be nuts. I wonder how long he'll dodge being in costume? Since Dean Cain plays Mr. Danvers in I wonder if he'll be asked back, too? Four Supermen teaming up would be nuts, especially if they got the ones from the Superboy TV series!
@Yuugi's:

Yuugi why the hell not, the more the merrier.
If we talking about the more
! Linda Carter as Wonder Woman maybe? You could do a decent Justice League shot of the old tv shows.
Plus it's likely we may get a shot like that because at least one Green Lantern has been confirmed to exist in this multiverse as of last year's crossover (That being the John Diggle of Earth 90). Though I guess a Green Lantern may just come down the the budget given the sheer scale of this crossover.
Is Martian Manhunter still kicking around in Super Girl? That's one of the two Arrowverse shows I don't watch regularly(The other being Black Lightning).

Why not? She has already cameo'd as The President.

Yes he is, however his father is not (who was played by the voice of Martian Manhunter in Justice League).
This news has been pretty much reported everywhere at this point, so I'm not sure if spoiler tags are still necessary.
Anyway:
! Bit of a shame now I think that they used the "somebody save me" song on on the non-Welling Superman.

! They can talk about the farm together
Well we have more news and it's no surprise…every Superman needs
I was always more of a
! Lex fan. So with all those annoucement I'm really hoping they can get that third member.

They can do a couple of things though.
with…
! Michael Rosenbaum they could of course bring him back as Lex…however, they can also bring him in as another Flash. Everyone forgets he was the voice of Wally West Flash in Justice League.
! Also there is a 4th member they need to bring in too, Justin Hartley. Cmon we need to see both Green Arrow's stand side by side.

@Count:
! I believe that the corpse of Smallville's Green Arrow was shown at the end of Elseworlds.
! Yes but that was also the dimension that 90's tv show Flash was from, which the Monitor wiped out. Not the Smallville dimension
I liked this Titans episode.
! If Kori, Donna, Dawn, Rose and Rachel got their own show, i'd watch it.
! When Hawk and Dove were 1st announced last year, I didn't think their narrative would be covered as much. They're actually interesting and I can't wait for Hank to die and Dove to spread her wings. She's being held back by Hank and she obviously is attracted to broken people. Dawn needs to love herself more.
! Kori became my fav character last season. Her and Jason have carried this story for me this season. Looks like the team (especially Rachel) is her anchor. Faddei is a great foil to Grayson for Kori. They both see her greatness, but Faddei is more vocal in pushing her, while Grayson is too busy with his own baggage.
! Jason, man. Let the dysfunctional and worst case scenarios continue. I hope they pace Jason's transition into "you know who" well. This could possibly become the best non-comic Jason ever.
what do I need to watch to get ready for Infinite Crisis and in what order?
what do I need to watch to get ready for Infinite Crisis and in what order?
I mean it's been a plot hinted at it The Flash since its very first episode, meanwhile in Arrow it's going to end up being the last/second to last episode of Arrow, with it rounding out the show that started this connected universe.
The big thing to watch though would be last year's big crossover, "Elseworld". It is a prequel of sorts to Crisis.
what do I need to watch to get ready for Infinite Crisis and in what order?
Watch Elseworlds which is last year crossover and setup this crossover, this season of Arrow (who will probably lead up to the crossover) and then watch the crossover.
Or you can just take the plunge and watch the crossover. they usually try to have a self contain history.
Thanks Guys .
wow, I couldn't understand anything at all in that first episode of Watchmen. What a pilote–- it looks like the Leftovers
Arrow is doing great this season.
The latest Arrow episode reminded me of how far Amell has come as an actor. He was pretty wooden early on, but nowadays he sells the hell out of Oliver's emotional moments.

Agreed. I can just imagine how much better season 1 would have been now if he was this good way back then.
