Hara wasn't even subtle with his foreshadowing.
This probably means we will shift to other battlefield. Shame, I'd like to see more of Heki in the aftermath.

I can't say anything about this chapter was a surprise -except the release date- but at least we're making some serious progress. In time the food reserves of the Quarong city may turn around the siege of Gyou, but first the other battlefield needs to wrap up. If we're lucky we might still get a couple more pages of aftermath before that.
Man Danto getting left out the limelight despite his showings hell he's half the reason Rozo dead.
Danto is an interesting character. I end up liking him more every time he appears. So glad he survived.
Wonder if there's gonna be a romantic fakeout with Heki and Yotanwa and he's actually gonna propose to Kitari or something.
She's so pathetic, a real general(one with testicles!) would slaughter them all. Such a disappointment.
Posts like this is the reason why I keep coming back to this forums

People actually believe that neither regions nonsense?
Off paneling of Yotanwa turning Quanrong to allies left a bitter taste.
Well, no one liked Rozo. He ruled out of fear.
A great chapter. Predictable in the best ways. Heki falling over after the blow was the cherry on top. Hope we get a few more pages with them next chapter before moving on.

Yeah Yontanwa wouldnt let Heki have her all to himself just because he did a good job on the battlefield. I mean obviously she's had others pull off spectacular feats under her but that hasn't let them get under her.
I still think Hara trolled Heki till the end…
How do you mean that ? He did make a fool of himself early in the battle (to a point where I wouldn't have minded if Hara got rid of him), but in the end this victory was well earned even if not entirely his own doing. Isn't that better than if some ass-pulled power-up had suddenly let him single-handedly defeat Rozo ?
Honestly I like that not everyone in this manga is a Shin or Mobu when it comes to martial prowess, and that secondary characters get other achievements than watching from the bench.

No matter how i see, killing Rozo from behind while someone else holding down his hand seems, for the lack of words, bit funny. Heki also got blown away by Rozo's first strike on him and almost lost consciousness( which he eventually did soon after…lol).
I was not expecting a one on one victory, but Hara could have made his win more 'honorable'....at least i hoped for more resilience from Heki.

Danto the only one who's ever mentioned the neither regions. Even Enpo only mentioned her heaping praising on him after taking the city. And even if it was true there's more deserving people than Heki.

Considering his actual power level, anything more than this would be too much. For me, anyway. This way we got everything. Heki is blown away easilly, he snaps out of KO with sheer power of will, manages to kill Rozo just because he was so absorbed with killing Danto who riled him up good, collapses because he passed all his limits.

You see, that's the biggest trolling by Hara. Everybody got stronger and stronger, but Heki's martial prowess remained roughly the same since the beginning. It seems his purpose now is of more comedic relief to the reader and less as a general. I know Hara had originally intended to kill him off, but if he wants to continue with Heki why not make some steady progress with him?
Spoilers are out for some time, so the chapter should come earlier
! https://imgur.com/a/ZP8SRpd
As expected its just a transition chapter with the aftermath on the Mountain Tribes front, so its another week until we see how things might continue. Damn, this will be a long arc
! If what the comments on the spoiler are true, Hara did something I am impressed about.
But is not yet here
Today I went 4 times to check on Sense Scans. It appears Kingdom has become my most anticipated weekly without me noticing. ^^
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh man this wait is killing me, I saw the last post was recent so I figured itd be out by now.
Hah right? And guys above teasing but nothing out yet
Hahaha I'm the same, I went several times (in vain) to their site yesterday and this morning.
I get disappointed every time I read "Liberators".
At last !

! Hara, you troll
Not a very interesting chapter other than the Bajio thing
! A status update chapter, understanable. Guess Ousen figures they can take care of themselves. The Mountain King was on point this chapter. Love her telling Heki what she wanted to do to him for the burnt food. And, of course, the royal beatdown.
Love how relaxed Kanki always seems. Wonder if we'll get to see him tense up in this arc.
Regarding Ousen, everything he does serves a purpose. I guess he wants the Zhao left to commit to offense more. They should notice that Qin right doesn't have a leader and should try to use the situation.
^But, it also means if Qin Right doesn't have a leader that means there's no one person for Zhao to target. A risky play by Ousen.
I dislik how the rescue of Akou got off paneled after half way.
^But, it also means if Qin Right doesn't have a leader that means there's no one person for Zhao to target. A risky play by Ousen.
Well, the person they targeted was effectively removed from the battlefield and is playing no part. And it didn't really work, so now they have 2 main targets and they aren't staying close to eachother. I guess it's a good way of buying time as well, if that's what Ousen is going for. Can't really be more precise with theories when we don't know exactly what's going on in other 5 camps of the battlefield. as far as we know, QL and ZR are keeping even and not engaging seriously and QM and ZM haven't done much. But that must have changed somewhat since we last had an overview.
Jajaja, Yo Tan Wa sitting on that dude for lying was the highlight of the chapter. Well, the comments were wrong about Baijo's death, but at least that would have been a clear indicator of the type of sacrfice that needed to be made for Yo Tan Wa's plan to succeed.
Is Ou Sen banking on one of the two young commanders to rise to the occasion? What is the reaction of the Zhao side after the general was fodderized?
Ousen is probably drilling them into good generals he needs them to be as such
! And here I was expecting some unfathomable master plan from Ousen… :getlost:
Whatever happened to "guys, we need to take out one army and commander each day or everything is lost for sure" ?
! Damn, to think Ou Sen would be petty like that. I am sure he is not one to throw the fight over this, but if he is hoping for a scenario where: "if he really is my son, he will overcome". Then even if he is a great tactician, he is far more stupid than I thought he could be.
Nah, don't buy this being sole reason for Ousen's current order at all. He's more calculated than that and there are definitely multiple layers to his plan, where he has taken any factors he could think of into account, and probably even some that he couldn't.
If his own right wing is confused, imagine what's going through ZL and Riboku's heads.
So I think it's a calculated gamble, something not unlike what Yotanwa has pulled.
! I don't see how him not beign his child would play any role in that decision. If any easy explaination then I'd guess it's because Ousen is expecting Akou to recover soon to fighting shape and get back to commanding his unit.
Really? There are people who don't think this is just a red herring?
Kept expecting Ten to snap out of it and start thinking of how Ousen would find not having a commander for QR advantageous for them.
Yeah, it's sad how she is relegated to giving exposition after all the strategist training she went through
By this time she should be completely aware that everything Ousen does, no matter how random it seems, has a deeper purpose. Or at least be aware enough to take it into consideration.
Yeah! I too think Ousen won't put his reputation and more importantly his ambition as general at stake for some 'family affairs', particularly in such dire situation. There is more to his plan.
I think Ousen just wants Ouhon to act on his own finally and don't obey everything he says even if it's stupid. I mean you can't be a Great General if you just follow orders and don't act on your instincts.
! …or not. I'm pretty certain these 20 pages could have been condensed in less than 4. Or a single panel of "today's a tough day, let's do our best". The start of the chapter seems to hint at a future development between Shin and Ouhon, but these things take time so we ain't got nothing yet. The conclusion is especially lackluster, Ten is reaching Heki levels of uselessness (he got better eventually, let's hope she does too)
Yeah, was afraid most of the chapter will be talking.
I like that Shin is showing he can think, but it could have been done without dumbing Ten down. Of course, might attribute that to stress, I suppose.
Spoilers are out
! its another transition chapter where nothing happens, noooooooooooooo
I'm kinda hoping the ZL decides to bank on Ouhon and Shin sticking their necks out, so we don't have another "last day with food" situation.
Everything seems to be going in that direction though.
Note that I don't read spoilers.
