That was quite a trip. But the last few panels. Man. I keep telling myself that Oda's just playing tricks and the Sunny will end up fine, but at the same time I'm awed and actually really really excited for the possibility of what just happened to the Sunny.

In the cover pic Zoro gets a weird apple as compared to the two other apples in the page. Is it just some other fruit or does it signify that zoro might eat a DF later on? The fruit doesn't look like a normal fruit either. Oh well just an observation

Also, it's funny that for all that big action two chapters ago, the Vinsmokes get beat by some of the lesser Charlottes and with guns, which they arrogantly believed couldn't hurt them. Not even Snack or Oven beat them, it was the Super Decuplet and Durian Dude.

Maybe its time for the straw hats to get a new ship? I'm not sure if it's only me but I felt that the Thousand Sunny lasted so short compared to the Going Merry.
However I did my research on both ships and this is their duration:
Going Merry: Chapter 41 to 430 (389 Chapters + Chapter 41 itself = 390 Chapters)
Thousand Sunny: Chapter 436 to Chapter 900 (464 Chapters + Chapter 436 itself = 465 Chapters)
So the Thousand Sunny has actually lasted longer than the Going Merry already. Maybe it is time for a new ship, at least the size of a Navy Warship probably? -

Oda is too much of a tease when it comes to Sanji fighting Daifuku.
He foreshadowed it once, then stopped Daifuku far away from Strawhats for us to doubt, then he let Daifuku catch up to Strawhats and he let Sanji clash with Daifuku yet again..
Now we got this awesome twist.
And again no Sanji vs Daifuku.
Fuck. It. All.
I am quite patient but.. holy shit Oda is testing me with this one.

I don't see the big "tragedy" of the SH crew, the panels are a bit tricky at the end.
Aside from the flag, anything can happen… -

Yea Oda is definitely messing with the Sanji fans. lol. But at least we know this arc still has to resolve the Pudding stuff. I expected the Sun Pirates to die here but not the Germa. And certainly not before we see Judges eyebrows and Judge apologizes to Sanji. I'm guessing the Kiss awakened Puddings eye which is gonna give us another weird Dues Ex that will save the day and result in her escape from Tottoland.

If the sunny would just burn, BM could use her Soul power to turn the fire into a sun (like carmel did). But I am afraid burning is not the only matter…
I really liked the contrast of the chapter. A happy BM eating the cake while pure despair on the SH-side.
Epic BM-faces and Montdor goin like "YESSS!" did it for me.Even the cover with Chopper and his crush is cute.
Conclusion: a worthy 900th chapter.At least all the fans are right, who thought OP wouldn't have over 1000 chapters :ninja:

But yeah again this go either way. Either Pudding's doing this and were just seeing the vision as Big Mom foodgasming or…Oda's really just getting bold. I honestly hope it's the former. Forgive the complaining but I really want to finish this arc already. The land was fun and the whole bits from the forest to the Wedding was great. But then the chase came up and the cake and the back and forth and just...ugh. Yes the fight with Katakuri was kick-ass, but by this point the second half has just been draining and I want just want to move on now.
Chapter wise though, yeah not bad, gloomest Oda has been in a long time.

The more I read this chapter, the more morbidly hilarious the "death" of the strawhats become. The musical make it better.
Everyone know they are fine. Duh.
Of course, the question remain is how they are going to get out of this. They are still surrounded by Big Mom crew. Most of their allies are down or busy…
Unless Oda plans to introduce some new character that rescue the strawhats… -
After reading the chapter, I'm not worried about the Sunny anymore.
The panel with the strawhats before the ship is destroyed is too casual. None of the strawhats look serious and there's no tension among them. Considering that the Sunny is considered a nakama, they should have a serious expression if it was about to be destroyed.

Oda's just bold. Perhaps the damage to the Sunny isn't as bad as he made it seem, but in no way is this the work of Pudding, or Big Mom imagining it all. Hell, Pudding's not even there, and this is way out of her capabilities to begin with.

Maybe it's to foreshadow Pekoms coming to save the day with his shell. The shell tanks most of the damage but some still spreads onto the ship and affects the ship a little/a lot

Oh boy, Oda... the most important shit of the chapter is obviosly Oven, and some recognition to Brûlée... but also Mont D'or skill on Den Den Mushis, dat's awesome, maybe he sees the same as the snail does.
