Mob Psycho Universe - Thread Title Season 2

Hmm who would be stronger…Mob 100% or Tatsumaki from OPM? They are both espers with identical telekineses powers and they are both otherwordly strong.

I hope Mob.
! I can't help but feel truly disapointed by Tatsumaki's performance on the last OPM arc.

Something Aohige mentioned earlier in the thread.
! ONE said although Tatsumaki is far above the usual everyday Mob, no one knows which is above who when Mob is 100%
Meaning, he's comparable to the most powerful psychic in the world. -
And since we're so close to christmas, and I guess we've been good this year, here's chapter 21:

I dunno where it originally came from, though.
-
-
Oh dang, there's more. Is Mob Psycho so popular as to get ads like these?
!
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
But wait---there's more!
!
-
That grown up esper in Chapter 22 is looking interesting! and I wonder how Ritsu is gonna get out of this situation…
-
Awesome commercials
-
I wonder if Mob's brother would become an esper and go on a Mob-like rampage too.
Edit:
Spoiler for newest, ch. 50:! Looks like he does become a telekinetic, whoa. Last two pages of 50

^
! He's been one for a while now
-
24 is out.
Huh, so dimple is still alive?
-
Only at chapter 22, but now that we have so many Espers, I can see this getting really crazy really fast.
-
Oh dang, Mob's brother. I didn't think it would be so soon, since ch. 50 is such a long way off.
-
Chapter 23 is the best chapter so far, A+ manga.
-
And suddenly, lots of character drama. Love this shit.
Yet, hate to be the bringer of bad news, but no scanlated Mob for one week.
Enjoy.
-
Here's the full gif.
-
Reigen secret techniques names are quite high level in coolness.
I regret a little that the best gags of the manga are now in the omake and the bonus. -
Starting here, you have three chapters of Mob goodness.
Not that this development makes me the happiest, but it is indeed interesting.
And there are two very nice comebacks. Check it out.
-
I hope Dimples actually dies soon.
-
I hope Dimples actually dies soon.
Why? He is great giving insight about the characters.
Like an ugly narrator floating around.
-
I love how common it is for these characters to be multifaceted or playing against expectations.
-
For some reason I lost a lot of interest in this series after the first psychic showdown.

For some reason I lost a lot of interest in this series after the first psychic showdown.
I gotta admit, this series truly grabbed my attention and I've very vocal about loving it, and I still do. . .but it's true that it has somehow lost some steam after that battle.
I think it is preparing for something bigger, but the whole "clean up the school" thing going on at the moment ain't the most exciting development ever, even though the character dynamics involved are pretty cool. I guess, in the end, this manga's selling point will always be to put Mob in situations where he has to resort to his powers and th conflict derived from it; face him off against other espers or maybe go back to clean up ghosts. There's been a deliberate lack of this stuff since his fight against Ochimusa, and the new factions/characters taking the spotlight at the moment have been so far a bit sub-par, yes.
The most exciting plot thread right now is the stuff involving Mob's bro, but I'm not particularly fond of Ritsu becoming an esper, since I found the conflict of the younger brother being very good at basically everything in life yet tormented by the lack of psycho powers vs. his brother being exceptionaly mediocre at everything but having incredible powers, and how the first envies the second, yet Mob looks up to Ritsu and would like to be more like him. Now that both have psycho powers. . .the balance feels somewhat off, but let's see where One will take this situation.
That being said, it still keeps surprising me how well built the characters are; the cast is (so far) not as humunguous as OPM, but in exchange for that they're better created as individuals and the way they evolve. Ochimusa's comeback as a changed person this last chapter, for example, felt really good. And according to the translators, the real exciting stuff starts now, so I'm quite certain the excitement will come back soon.
(A bit bummed too that Reigen's goodness is now almost solely shown on the Omakes, but since those are PURE GOLDEN I'm fine with it).
-
Reigen's a bit sidelined now, but he will definitely be more involved in the future, I guarantee it. So no worries. Just gotta get the initial setup for things up and running, that's all. Of note is that we haven't seen Mob's psych meter rise for quite a few chapters, so I'm pretty sure all of this cleanup stuff is just buildup.
-
Btw who else hopes that this telepaty club lady will eventually awaken telepaty herself? Sure it's just a club for killing time, but she seems to be pretty passionate over her dream…
Anyway I think Ritsu is becoming into a fine antihero. It's not like it isn't annoying for him to turn out like that, but I don't t dislike that and I think this developement is very interesting.
-
And 2 more chapters for you. How long till we catch up??
-
Where are the RAWs hosted?
-
On the official site, seems like we are up to chapter 50 already.
-
Gotta say this is pretty damn good series, I made mistake of comparing this to OPM but I should instead enjoy them both as seperate series. Mob is such amazing main hero being awkard guy with zero emotions and his brother is shaping great anti hero of his own… I kinda like all charecters in mob psycho thus far.
-

Looks like the scanlation will soon enter the arc that lasted all the way to the most recent chapter.
49 was pretty much the end of it.Basically, an entire arc finally introducing the "big bads".
In many ways it's Mob Psycho's version of "Monster Association and Garou" arc. -
I'm confused how Mob didn't notice the Psychic power in Ritsu all this time…and Dimple says it's been getting stronger, usually Mob would sense such a thing, especially when you live with that person under the same roof... Plot hole? Or is there a explanation?

Maybe Ritsu's power isn't that strong enough to caught Mob attention, must be feels like a weak spirit level to him
Mob > Hanazawa > Ritsu

Additionally, and this isn't apologetics for the writing - it seems sloppy not to address it - Mob needs to sit and actually pay attention (eg on a park bench) to detect people with psychic power in a crowd. So maybe he's just not been paying attention.
-
I'm guessing Mob can't sense power that hasn't been awakened. Seems like a necessary thing if telepathy club girl is ever going to get telepathy, since Mob senses nothing from her.
-
Except he can't sense telepathy or anything else aside from psychokinesis, if his interactions with Reigan are to be trusted at all (psychic).

M](http://www.batoto.net/read/_/216316/mob-psycho-100_v4_ch30_by_nerieru-scans)essed up brother relationship. Ritsu is a prick and a douche, who would've thought?
Too bad Mob is a great guy.
-

that was just a joke. Since Mob couldn't feel any power from Reigan (which is 100% normal since he has none), he tried to find an explanation. It doesn't mean anything though.
-
Even when possessed by Dimple, Mob still couldn't tell Ritsu was an esper until he started projecting it at Mob. I'd imagine that unless they're outwardly projecting the power at something that Mob can't see it unless maybe he really strains himself to look in a crowd (although that's also because there aren't that many espers in the normal populace). Hanazawa obviously he could see while he was fighting the Body Improvement club.
Also impressive that Mob's Explosion Meter actually went down I think.
Edit: I was wrong, it only was at 4% before lol
-
I love how oddly perceptive Mob is about people's feelings in certain situations. Gives me a Saitama vibe.
-
Mob is such a bro, sticking up for Ritsu even after that whole convo.

Btw what does "White T Poison" stands for? Did I miss something or there is some sort of backstory/meaning for that name?

Everyone in these sorta delinquent gangs wears a school uniform or something to that end, but the body improvement club wears white t-shirts when they work out. And I guess all the delinquents have the same mentality of fighting "poison with poison" just like Onigawara (he mentioned that phrase before when planning to fight Hanazawa with the body improvement club), so presumably they're calling him a poison because they have no better name for him lol.
-
the guy in the red hoodie is so eerie
seeing as how this is written by ONE, he might just be a throw-away bad guy, but I'm curious as to what he'll do in the future
pretty decent manga in general, btw -

tnx :) Anyway it's a pretty cute nickname for Ritsu.. :D
