Judge no longer has any way to threaten the Baratie, the ones who could do so were the Big Mom pirates, who probably don't have any more interest in doing so. Remember that receiving the head of a loved one in a box is Mama's policy when people refuse their invitations. Sanji complied and showed up to the wedding. Wedding subsequently turned into hell. But Sanji played his role. No longer any reason to threaten Zeff other than petty vengeance.

And Sanji played his role in helping to disrupt the wedding, destroy the cake, and smash Mother Carmel's portrait. I think that if Big Mom is willing to betray the Vinsmokes without provocation to get their technology/army and rigs roulettes so that nobody leaves her territory alive, I think she's willing to sink down to petty vengeance.

Which is exactly why I included that clause at the end there The problem isb't solved, but it's no longer a huge urgent issue.

But it is an urgent issue because they have no way to know if the Baratie will stay safe after the arc and don't have anybody to contact to make sure they're safe. They don't have Den Den Mushis to communicate with the Straw Hat Grand Fleet, only Luffy's Vivre Cards. Leaving that open if the situation with Big Mom isn't solved is only going to make the Straw Hats look inconsiderate and selfish for journeying along while not helping their loved ones who they know for certain are doomed if a powerful enemy attacks them without warning.

Why doesn't the Germa helping in defending work? If we consider that Big Mom does not have any one of worth patrolling the points of interest.

Because they wouldn't be able to arrive in time. Unless is left rampaging on her island for a while instead of still having a clear mind, but her illness lasting that long sounds like a plot-convenient stretch to me.

So you think that if Big Mom and Germa leave Whole Cake Island at the same time, Big Mom would arrive faster to the restaurant even though the Germa's snails can go over the Red Line?

This isn't about a race. This is about Big Mom probably already having agents near the Baratie. Hence why Judge bragged about how he had a picture of Zeff and he's as good as dead as soon as he gives the call.

I know, and we can chalk it up to convenience if she didn't have anyone there. When she sent her scouts to find about Sanji's past, those people returned with the information, but are not there currently is my idea. I think that even if she didn't have someone over there, the threat still stands equally as strong because how easily she can dispatch somebody to deal with the job while Luffy would have to go there personally.
A : "We can send anybody, anytime to kill them" more than : "I make a call and the sniper shoots." But that comes to interpretation really. That is why I see it a bit as a race.

A memory loss would permanently solve the problem.
-
Would Pudding be able to restore memory rather than erase it ?
Like showing Big Mom what she during her birthday. -

Like showing Big Mom what she during her birthday. She can extract Streussen's memories of what he witnessed and then perhaps show it to Big Mom or something like that.

By the way , will zoro act angry towards Sanji after they meet up again in the future? I mean , Zoro was pretty angry when Luffy wanted to invite back Usopp (who hadn't apologized before for leaving Strawhats and having a fight with the captain)

That depends on whether or not the Straw Hats even talk about what they found out about Sanji's past. Oda has an inclination to make a character's past go to the wayside outside of the arc it's focused on since it's no longer relevant, and probably to fit into the series' philosophical undertone of how the past doesn't matter. Nami's got talked about in Fishman Island, but that was necessary due to Arlong's current relevance and tie to Jimbei. Outside of probably a gag or two, the Straw Hats will likely talk more about stealing the Poneglyph scripts and whatever the state of their relationship with Big Mom is by the end of the arc.
-
I would imagine Sanji would apologize quickly, anyways.

Maybe there will be a bit of tension between the two at first, but Oda could made them fight together against an enemy at Wano in order to restrenght their bond as crewmates, just like when he made Sanji and Jinbe fight together against Wadatsumi at FI after Sanji expressed previously his disappointment at Jinbe for having let Arlong roam in East Blue.
-
The circumstance of Usopp leaving and the circumstance of Sanji "leaving" are completely different
-
Oda will never let zoro share a fight because "zoro is number oneeee!!n!11"

They shared a fight in the Davy Back Fight arc…

I could see zoro against sanji back in the crew, hinted from his words in zou. That will lead to the first real battle between them, if sanji wins he joins the crew again ot quit for good.
Sanji will break one if swords and zoro will give up the fight, a sign of shame as mihakw teached him( zoro also tends to change swords sometimes). That will send zoro to have his own quit the crew moment in wano, after robin, sanji, nami, usopp. Zoro need some development because after 2 years with WSS he is pretty much mihawk 2, he was much better pre ts.

Yeah, and Pudding will join the Straw Hats as the crew psychologist, as hinted by Luffy's words in Zou.
-
I didn't mean necessarly to share their main fights at Wano (shogun or whoever…), even if they face a minor dangerous situation together and overcome it with a bit of teamwork it should be enough to put aside their disagreements.
-

I would love to see the sessions Pudding has with Brook, delving into why he loves woman panties and how it links to his feelings of maternal abandonment at such early age.
-
Actually a psychologist would be very useful for the SHs. The fandom is always thinking about what's next and what would be really useful.

Why didn't CC use the ability to make a vacuum air? (just like in PH)
That definitely can help defend against big mom (she will get suffocated for some time) -
He will get shot and ganged banged and killed before/during it if he tries.
-

but CC can do that ability instantly. Otherwise , Luffy would have blitzed him.

Caesar can do the move instantly but that doesn't mean an enemy will instantly suffocate on the spot. Luffy got caught up in that attack probably not even realizing he was choking because of Caesar himself.
Now Caesar is surrounded by a ton of enemies who probably have a general idea of what he is capable of and it's not even guaranteed that the range he can use the ability would extend to every enemy at the tea party. Luffy later realized what was happening and saved himself by extending his neck beyond the suffocation range, chances are there are plenty of enemies that can fire a haki projectile much further than that.

Been thinking about Snack and what Oda is planning for him/her.
I mean, if he only wanted to hype Urouge, he could have said he defeated one of the three already known Sweet Commanders, there was no reason to make a 4th one and say they were demoted from their position for losing.
Unless Oda was trying to make BM look like a person who can't forgive defeat, which seem unlikely based on what we saw up to this point (there wasn't even a line about Cracker possibly losing his position after losing to Luffy).Curious as what could be Snack role in the future. And also what truly made them lose their position as a SC since simply being defeated doesn't seem to make it.

Urouge ripped his legs off. Oda love lost limbs. Or he is in the same state as Urouge right now.

Maybe he/she fled Totto Land with Urogue once it was clear they'd be on the chopping block?

When Cracker lost he didn't seems to be in the chopping block. Big seemed pissed that her guy received a beating and the family was pretty troubled that someone dare hurt their Big brother.

it will be more like Sanji broke his leg on their first exchanging attacks, then Sanji apologized to Zoro before Sanji got killed by him.

I wonder where Wadatsumi will go since he was banished from Fishman island.

Arent the Sanji siblings extraordinary dull characters?

Well looks like the Cake theory will come true.

I hated the moment when they went worried about Judge after Lin Lin's soft touch. All the shit about emotions was thrown to the garbage again D:

Not all, one of them remained focus on the mission. It just means that Judge failed to suppress their emotions except for one.

They're the only characters in this arc I don't like. I like Judge and Reiju just fine, but the brothers are probably the most "style over substance" characters in the series.

Well, it is a bit hard to differentiate sociopaths in personality, besides high-functioning and low-functioning, right?

I think most people will co-sign this. I don't know if it was publisher interference or Oda realising he bit off more than he could chew. But something makes me think they were supposed to play a bigger role. It doesn't add up for me that all we get to see them do is be assholes, put on their raidsuits and then nothing. Their crappy behaviour toward Sanji hasn't had any pay off and probably won't either. Also, the whole thing about them being emotionless isn't something we would realise if Reiju didn't constantly monologue about it. Definetly the most mistreated element of the arc.

They are not even the most style over substance characters in this arc

Very much so .
We'll 3 of them are "emotion-less" or "empathy-less" so…at least oda gave himself a reason for their lack of personality

Big Mom must have one hell off a lifespan to be able to keep Zeus and Prometheus for so long. Maybe she is part giant. They have the second greatest life exceptency of this world.

Maybe Roger, in order to prevent having to sleep with her (sure, she was hotter back then, but you know… alimony issues), sacrificed his Ope Ope no Mi user-crewmember.
Or he actually slept with her and it was so great that he came to the conclusion this awesomeness has to be saved for all eternity.

I'm convinced that little linlin is a (or maybe the only?) successful result of the giantification experiments that have been going on for centuries as remarked by Caesar.
It would explain why she is just so different compared to her parents.
