I bet 5 bucks it's Carrot (and I only have 5 bucks).
Why Carrot? Is this sarcasm?

The question is about the perve– I mean the japanese fanbase. So he might be right.

Oh, what kind of popularity would she have with the Japanese fanbase? I know there's a lot of folklore surrounding Rabbits.
I mean, she's cute, and she's cute, and also she's really cute. Yeah…
The more I see what peopla says about Carrot, the more I think she is the closest thing One Piece have to Lola Bunny.

Who is Lola Bunny??
Nevermind I just figured out who she is hahaha

At least carrot isnt the painfully obviously and transparent " girls can play/fight too" / only girl of the team / love interest of the main character cliche
Maybe he already did? :ninja:
On another note, I wonder who the Japanese One Piece fanbase are rooting for.
While we're on that subject, what is the japanese equivalent to arlongpark.net?

To be fair, she gained a looney personality in The Looney Tunes Show. Now Carrot has to be a cute, brainless, and oblivious love stalker if she wants to be One Piece's Lola.

One Piece already has a Lola that is cute, brainless, and oblivious love stalker though.
Please please PLEASE do not compare Carrot to Lola of Loony Tunes!
Its an insult to Oda to do so. As was pointed out Lola was created to be part of "painfully obviously and transparent " girls can play/fight too" / only girl of the team / love interest of the main character cliché". And adding her to later Loony Tunes comics did not improver her.
The main reason to create and add her to Space Jam was to have the only female in the team and create "love interest" for Bugs (which frankly had him acting non-Bugs style and I hated it). She wasn't even really a tomboy style, they had her good in sports but overtly sexy at same time.
Carrot isn't the only female Mink, nor is she the only female on the team.
She's not sultry, sash-shaying about and giving sexy poses.
She was not created to do that.
And adding her to later Loony Tunes comics did not improver her.
I know you specified comics, but you seem to be implying she was not improved at any point. I must defend Lola because god forbid another mink post.
!
If Oda gave this kinda insane/fun personality to Carrot I'd be all about her.

Lola and Daffy Duck to me were the best characters in The Looney Tunes Show, that and I had a reason to like a character other than Bugs Bunny.

No, she was actually massively improved in The Looney Tunes Show, and had no resemblance to Space Jam Lola at all outside of name. She was by far the best part of it, with an actual personality, quirks, and was really entertaining.
The brainless, insane and oblivious love stalker is way better than the token tomboy love interest.
Looney Tunes Show Lola wins on Kristen Wiig alone.

Hmmm I remembered the comic from somewhere (where she acted similar to Space Jam but they added some nonsense job *no longer sports player) that had me rolling my eyes) but not the show. I didn't watch later Tunes show for some reason I can't remember now.
So they changed her from love interest to stalker? meh still not interested in her
Still Carrot isn't that and I don't want her to be
So the changes
I like Carrot's personality as it is. Or rather what we've seen so far despite not a ton of screen time. I don't think her acting like Lola would improve anything about her. Carrot seems fairly young too. At least still early teens. Lola seemed more adult in either form. Furry bait Space Jam Lola wasn't very likeable.

Probably because the show was utterly awful at the start and looked bad.

Well thats how they started in the first few episodes. When the show was super awful. But then she morphed into the weird space case girl and was by far the best part of the show.

Slightly OT, I wonder now of oda will ever introduce a ornery man who has eaten the duck duck fruit to the story either donald or daffy duck would be hilarious, especially as one of kaidl's named men or someone in WCI
Carrot is smarter than lola from looney tunes at least so even though oda will try to make funny scenes with her she will be more useful as well and i can see her joining the mink alliance crew as the cook where all the food she makes has carrots in it lol.

it should be a few funny smile fruit users in kaido's army.
i think that is one of the main reasons he did smiles to get them to transform into some weaker animals lol.

Care to elaborate?
I see we got bored of this discussion and started to go off topic again. XD. But yes Lola Bunny was pretty funny on the Looney Tunes Show

Isn't Carrot already in the alliance?
Will do it in due time lol
Whaaaaaat, I'd like to hear your initial thoughts on this. Lol.

Yes she is since the alliance is between Strawhats & Heart pirates, Samurai & Ninja of Wano and then Minks of Zou.
REally not sure why he worded it like that…

Okey, I'll drop a one liner. During the whole arc there are only 3 characters with no bandages and Carrot is one of them.

I know she wasn't hurt, that much was obvious. I know Bariete could be considered, and Tristan? Hmmm Hmmmm HMMM

Do you care about Bariete or Tristan?
Nope. I'm guessing you're saying Carrot, right?
So there's no weight in them being the traitors since we as readers don't care about them and this revelation is suppose to have the readers in a 'Holy sh*t' situation.
I'll probably end up dropping all my thoughts on it tonight

I mean it really wouldn't surprise me or any other reader from this forum. However, it still be interesting to see.

This forum! We know we all dead inside but the people that are still have emotions will be in that state.

That's interesting because I've also arrived at a conoclusion that if there is a (known) mink traitor (and there most likely is) it would be Carrot. There is one big problem with the theory though, wonder if you'll address it. Anyway, I'll make sure to read your post and say what I think about it if I have something substantial to add.

Hmmph I'm not dead inside sobs anyway, how close are to actually posting such a theory?
There must exist a Vivrecard for someone at Zou, or another way to locate the island, that much is certain. The groups at Zou that Jack could have pointed at were:
And as always, I forgot that the damned things don't point to the person, but to the biggest piece of paper that is not itself. Ace's cavity search was sloppy.

Why not include Raizou on such a list?
Because I mixed up Raizo and Kanjuro, Again.
He is the most likely carrier of the vivre card, but not in himself but in his stuff.
Hmmph I'm not dead inside sobs anyway, how close are to actually posting such a theory?
Probably tonight…
I guess that could be a possibility. Raizou unintentionally leading them there would be a good plot twist.
It is the most likely posibility, but we can't count the insistence of Jack's men to torture as evidence, as they are just evil crazy fucks.
There is also the posibility of a traveling or pirate mink crossed paths with Kaido or the Shogun that either leaked or surrendered the information.
The thing is, that if Jack wasn't sure of Raizo being in the island, why did he think that he was there on the first place? Who knows the link between the Minks and the Koizuki clan? If it is know by the shogun then whatevs, but if not, then Momo's enemies have someone on their side that is providing important information.
Didn't they mention that the vivre cards are made from a person's finger nails?
Correct me if I'm wrong but don't elephant tusks have keratin? The same thing in nails and hair?
Maybe they made a Vivre card from Zunesha's tusks.
The "Target" of the vivre card is mostly irrelevant, besides we don't know how the cards are made beyond the fingernail, could be keratin, could be something else, and we only know that they have been made for humans and minks.
The point is who got the "big piece" to Zou, and who gave a little piece to Jack/Kaido/The Shogun.

I had mentioned the possibility that they got their piece from Oden. Though the possibility of a traitor could be interesting.

I don't remember but where does it say that it follows the biggest piece?

I don't remember offhand if it was stated outright but I know Rayleigh made a point of giving his piece to Shakky when he went to Kuja just in case any straw hats were on the way.

Or they could have just used Zounisha's "fingernails" aka toe nails. I mean, they are easier to reach. Not that it matters.
It could be kaido's akainu's or makino's vivre card for all it matters, the paper pull itself together and measures the life force of the owner.

How so? Considering Zounisha's feet are that the bottom of the ocean, I'd think that the feet (and thus toenails) would more difficult to reach than its head and a tusk. After all we've seen an entire civilization on it's back and visitors reaching it. While when Jack's forces shot at it's leg, the foot still wasn't seen above the water's surface.

I might be wrong, but to me it looks like that Zounisha literally walks on water
