But some of those countries, such as the Gulf monarchies will never accept refugees because they are the ones creating this chaos and most importantly they are the most racist people on earth. It sort of is a thing. But not in the forceable seizure kind of way, but rather that you can make so much more money renting to the immigration board than you ever could in most any other line of work, so a fair amount of landowners aren't above booting the current tenants in favor of a refugee centrum. Which can be twisted into them governments is taking yur land.

Not that I am against freedom, but I believe the system is completely broken and false, everywhere. And what I am following in the US just confirms every single day. There are people and there some ruling class. The ruling class has nothing to do with people aspirations. Right or wrong, people in Europe are against war, against all these masses of refugees, but the ruling class is not listening. People in the US are angry about Iraq war and all that money that was lost, but they will get Hillary and her coming wars. People everywhere are getting lies, complete and sincere lies. People are against big banks, bailouts, financial system out of control, tax havens, but the ruling class is doing nothing against it. And nothing will change, nothing, neither in the US, in Europe or in any other country. It's not me choosing to be cynical or not, it's just when I talk about the ruling class, I am like them, cynical, but I do think differently of people. I have no hate for people, no matter who they are.

One glance at the alternative should tell you how that tends to work out. Your own country is facing a really big ol' question mark on what's gonna go down when Bouteflika bites the dust. Not to mention authoritarian government kind of requires state violence.

i can confirm this. i am from jordan, the 1.5 million refugees we have have definitely put a considerable weight on the economy.
water bills and taxes are raising, water is a big problem specifically because we're struggling to get water for them. education has been hit hard too, the schools have doubled the amount of their students and actually made a second shift for syrian students.
we're getting donations from other countries but corruption is a big problem here, so not all of it reaches the refugees. the situation is very bad overall and we should all be responsible for this, not only arabs or muslims.
i've actually heard that the asylums in germany have been getting attacked with molotovs, and has a high rate of rapes happening in them. they didn't even bother to create gender separated camps.

And you guys have it easy compared to Lebanon, who might even be tipped back into civil war because of the instability coming from Syria and the groups fighting eachother.

When you got politicians spouting that these refugees could be hiding a terrorist among them, many believe that's 3000 too high. They take the Batman route of "If there's even a 1% chance we have to take it as an absolute", and in the process screw over all the innocent people.

You are absolutely right. I agree that democracy is the best system we have, but I am not talking about democracy itself, I am talking about it is completely broken. Look at elections everywhere, only established people can run. Only money talks. And even if you happen to win elections, it doesn't mean you'll be allowed to implement what you were elected for. In a lot of cases, elected persons go opposite to what they promised and it goes on and on.

Algeria is already facing problems, we already know the guy is almost dead, he's a zombie. But as I told you, we know the value of stability and security. And having neighbors suffering from local terrorist groups does not help at all.

The elections are completely under control. In France for example, the far-right is the first party in terms of voters, but due to a completely biased system, they only have 2 congress men out of 5xx. Everything is done to steal the people choice. Look what happened in Greece, people voted against E.U/I.M.F in a referendum, yet it was ignored. The same happened in France/Netherlands in 2005 where people voted against E.U constitution, but then the result got ignored weeks later. The same is now happening with the transatlantic treaty that's discussed between USA and EU, people are against it, but it will be applied. Now you have supra-national organizations that completely throw national votes. Just look what happens in Hungary and their legally elected PM: Viktor Orban. He is treated like shit in the EU even though he is only applying what he promised to his people, and the pressure is not only political, it is also economical. So there is nothing interesting that's coming out from elections because the system is completely locked to some policies and there are too many layers for people to get a reasonable result without a fight. This true everywhere including USA.

And now, even those wealthy nations are reverting back and loosing some hardly acquired rights. But it's too complicated of a subject to be discussed in a forum thread. And any action of trying to change even the slightest aspect of this, extreme violence must happen.

And have previously done so for years before. Shut people out entierly and you seem to get a relative free pass, lower the amount of help you give and people rip you a new one. Isn't that the whole point. That your choice for a fair comparison, that matches the highly set expectations, is the per capita hardest hit nation in the Arab world. It's not that you need to feel bad about poor little Denmark, it's more to point out what kind of standards you are holding them accountable to. Standards that other, much larger and capable, western (Or Eastern for that matter) nations, seemingly, don't get held to. This, however, is not an excuse or a rug sweeping for their plans to steal refugees jewelry, or the compulary serving of pork (Seriously wtf), or whatever else they get up to reformwise. Really, you had doubt about it? I said it to you many times, the real target in that region, has always been and always be the resistance and it's support, which means: Syria, Hezbollah and Iran. Now that both Iran and Hezbollah are having their hands busy in Syria, there is no reason for them to stop. The same thing has been happening the whole time in Syria. Al-Nosra, the local Al-qaeda brach in Syria has been called moderate all the time and we know how moderate they are when they murder people, children, elderly and women included. it's hard to believe that any upcoming president of the usa is gonna send troops to the middle east. trump said that he will do that for isis. but that's just him trying to get more votes, i don't think he would actually do. simply because war is very expensive and there's nothing to gain from fighting isis.
they're already losing their positions in iraq and syria and they're getting airstrikes day and night from usa drones and basically all of the middle east forces (you could probably add russia to this list as well).

She is supposed to be one of the leaders of the "Free World", she is supposed to represent the best, those who fight for "Human Rights" and "Justice". Hezbollah I don't think has fought ISIS even once. They've been fighting the Syrian rebel groups.
Iran's involvement against ISIS is almost entirely in Iraq, not Syria. The US and Kurdish allies are the main ones fighting ISIS, Russia and even the Syrian government have avoided fighting them as much as possible. They're focused on the various rebels.
So if ISIS is supposed to be a honey trap for US enemies, it's working almost entirely the other way around. While also working as a very effective device the Assad government can use to make itself look like the only legitimate option in Syria. In your world the US is simultaneously a all powerful cartoon puppet master, and also comically inept on like a cartoon scale.

The only western nation that seems happy to take advantage of ISIS is Turkey, who seems very glad that they exist in order to keep the Kurdish nationalists busy. A policy entirely out of step with the rest of the west.

It is apparently completely impossible that ISIS be a phenomena growing out of a anarchic nightmare civil war, and that Turkey then (just like Israel!) favors them at the moment in order to counteract a force they consider more threatening. The Syrian government has also been largely happy with ISIS cannibalizing and demonizing the Syrian rebellion, did he also create ISIS? Did the Iranians and Russians also create them because they're convenient like that?

South Korea covered/is still covering up massive abuses, slave labor, rapes, killing of "vagrants," many of whom were children who were basically kidnapped, that occurred in Brothers Home in Busan, South Korea during the leadup to the 1988 Olympic Games, and nobody's really been held accountable.
And lovely, apparently one of the people complicit in the abuse is a senior advisor in the current ruling party, so I doubt anything is going to be done about it as long as Park Geun Hye is in power.

In April 2010, there was no Syrian civil war and Isis was already there.

Because to barbarians who don't have the slightest respect for human life, you expect them to have respect for stones and rock? This is for show, but do not be mistaken, when all is said and done, they'll find out that most of old artifacts are being sold to rich people around the world, like what happened in Iraq and what happened recently in Palmyra in Syria. They may be barbarians but they kind like the money, and the buyers are equally criminals, but they are mostly rich people from..
