Also called "Getting Down" on the cover, but descending the elephant sounded better imo.

Yeah thank you! =)
Nothing scary about leaping from the clouds with a place most of you can't swim below you, right?

Well, since he can use Geppou landing on the ship should not be that much of a problem.
I couldn't help but notice that the mink talking to Chopper mentioned the "Sakura Kingdom". I do not recall it ever being stated that Drum had received a new name; when the Straw Hats left it, it was still the nameless kingdom. Is this the first time it has been confirmed what the kingdom is called now?
So nothing about Jack… What if he comes back to Zou while everyone else bar Inu and Momonosuke left?
And soon there will be Sanji...
So one team plans on landing on Wano before Luffy gets there? That doesnt figure to end well.
Hell yeah! Could this mean that one of the groups will end up encountering Vivi?

We already knew that last chapter. The only change in this chapter is that Inu's team with Momo is also set to arrive later than Kinemon and Zoro & co.
VIVI!!!<3<3
Revery is coming, Revery is COMING!
TEAM whole cake Island on the go!
Momo will start talking to Zounisha!
New Clima Tact!
Pedro is Pekoms brother!?
Freaking Descend of the Elephant. I love that chapter. Hilarious from start to end
Only question remains: Where did they get kilometers of bandages from?!
I always just think about Vivi a couple weeks ago too.
here's to hoping carrot snuck inside luffy's bag or something
The Reverie is near, I can smell it!

Probably not any time soon. They're on the way to Reverie most likely.
But, the return of the immortal! Look at him, climbing up and carrying a bag like he's just a normal person. <3
Thanks, but no thanks Kanjuro. jumps
For some reason I found that incredible funny :D
Pedro is Pekoms brother!?
Hm, Pekoms said "brother Pedro", but I'm not sure if they are proper brothers. Could just be a marker of kinship.

I'm on a re-read of all of One Piece and I literally just last night reached the point where the Straw Hats leave Alabasta and say goodbye to Vivi. And now in the new chapter boom, hello Alabasta and Vivi.
I feel like those "Nami is a lesbian" theories have certainly been gaining traction this arc.
Nami boner jokes aside, it's great to see Franky, ussop and nami combine their brains to make a new weapon.
I wonder what this "magic wand" that ussop couldn't put in was? or mistranslation?
dat jump and those reactions. laughed pretty hard about that
How do you all know that the reverie is coming? where does it says so in the chapter?
Yayyy, Sanji sooonnnn.

In the coverstories it certainly is called Sakura Kingdom . But I don't remember if this here is the first instance or not
!
Nami already getting a new power up? I don't think we even saw that much from her Westeria new abilities… oh well.
I still think Carrot is joining. Her strange absence when everyone was trying to join, even though she was interested in it before, I am pretty sure it means she will sneak into their team. She probably left Zou before them and is waiting in the ship.
How do you all know that the reverie is coming? where does it says so in the chapter?
It certainly is implied that revery is coming seeing how it was mentioned by a lot of royals recently. We know that Cobra is sick, and we assume that he won't attend the revery. and what reason would Vivi have to leave Alabasta if not for the revery?

they certainly have a connection, and Pedro being Pekoms' older brother might be the reason that Pedro could keep Pekoms in check
How do you all know that the reverie is coming? where does it says so in the chapter?
It doesn't literally say it in the chapter, but during Fishman Island we learnt that it was coming up, and I'm pretty sure it was brought up more recently as well during Dressrosa, about countries having started making their preparations. So Riku was getting ready for it too.
And now in this chapter, we suddenly see Vivi setting sail. What else could it be but to sail for Mariejoa to attend the Reverie?

vivi is going from paradise in the grand line first half to meeting with all the kings in the center of the world what vivi does after that is anyones guess she is not going to the tea party.
With Vivi's appearance this chapter, I think that Oda might use such scenes to show something while the Sanji Rescue team is travelling. I guess maybe next week's chapter could be titled something like "Heading out" showing the different royal families (Dalton, Wapol, Neptune, Dold, Elizabello, maybe even the reveal of Goa's king) heading out for the Reverie, as well as the Revolutionary's leaders heading to the meet-up Dragon ordered. Maybe even the Blackbeard Pirates heading there as well…

Really, Cobra is sick? Where did we see that? I must have forgotten.
I'd believe Pedro being Pekoms's brother in a second, it is highly plausible. I'm just not sure if the way Pekoms used "brother" has confirmed this yet; Oda might be deceiving some readers, although my 0 knowledge of Japanese does not allow me any insight as to whether a Japanese reader would see any ambivalence in Pekoms's words.
EDIT: also thanks for the cover image. I figured it should have been mentioned there, if it was mentioned before.

we have been waiting for it for over 2 years are you serious lol?
they were even getting dressed up for it back then now they're finally leaving for it lol.
Well, even phallic-shaped objects without a brain attached get much bigger in Nami's hands.
The appearance of Vivi at the end there has to imply the Reverie is where the story is changing focus. King Riku mentioned it was coming up shortly at the end of Dressrosa and there is no other story reason to go back to her at the moment. Consider me hyped!
Also, I'm curious to see the dynamic Pedro brings to the Luffy's team, I'm sure people will be calling him the next Straw Hat within a few pages of this thread (for better or worse).

Okay after finding the image, I can't really tell if he is indeed sick or just bed-ridden
!
Great chapter. Nice to know Usopp is still a part of building weapons. Also loved that Usopp, Zoro, Robin and Franky didn't even react to Luffy throwing himself and everyone else off of Zunisha.
And Vivi!
I know it's unlikely, but I'd love for her to somehow meet up with one of the Strawhat groups.
Well, even phallic-shaped objects without a brain attached get much bigger in Nami's hands.
I must be getting old because I didn't even think of penis during Nami's Tug Toner feature. I'm Ok now, though.
Next Abridged should be fun.

i have already said that he and pekoms will just lead the mink alliance plus we have seen they have a ship to follow the straw hats around bear thinks he will join the crew while i say he will just do the mink alliance just like the dwarf alliance ship.
And it's not team Zoro, not team Law… It's team Kinemon
Well, since he can use Geppou landing on the ship should not be that much of a problem.
He is not in gear 4 at the moment
It makes sense that Nami received her weapon upgrade now. Ever since Sabaody this is the first time they actually had a bit of cooldown from their adventures.

Funniest post I've seen of yours lol
Well I certainly know how the next series of chapters I'm abridging will open

I had the same thought. Oda always focuses on world-building between arcs and Zou seems over now. I really wish to see the revolutionaries but I shouldn't set my hopes too high, a glimpse of what Kaido and Big Mom are doing would be enough.

Yeah, I totally agree. I just know how some people think, ha ha. I'm most curious to see how he interacts with the crew and Pekoms to get more of his personality. Oda wouldn't add him to the equation without merit.
No sign of Carrot in the entire chapter. She either has already snuck in the Sunny without anyone noticing or is inside Luffy's bag, but she's joining for sure, and I'm hella happy with that!
here's to hoping carrot snuck inside luffy's bag or something
Exactly my thoughts too. I mean, there has to be a reason why we didn't see her in the chapter, right?

I don't know what it might be, but probably a future upgrade?

I assume they're referring to Vivi setting sail at the end of the chapter. We know that Alabasta will be a part of the Reverie, so if they're setting sail, it's probably because they're on their way to attend it.
And it's not team Zoro, not team Law… It's team Kinemon
he knows the situation in Wano best it makes sense to be leading them, team Zoro probably would've ended up on some random island in god knows where
The awaited time is finally upon us, can't waiting for the meeting to start.

I absolutely love Zou, both the country and the arc and whilst I'm sad to see it go I have to say that it's just one of the best arcs in One Piece. It has a very similar feeling to the in-between arcs like Jaya, Whiskey peak and Saobody, concise arcs full of set up, answers, cool new characters and their own self contained story that make for the best arcs in One Piece and I think Zou stands on top of them all.
New weapon for Nami pretty much confirms she's going to get a fight soon and I really hope Carrot stowed away in Luffy's bag. Really great to see Vivi coming back in action after a slog of shitty princesses and then my biggest question is when is Jinbei going to join up with the Strawhats. Could it be that he's actually taking the poneglyph he acquired int he cover story to appease Big mom and Luffy and the gang will meet him on Whole cake island. Man it's feels great to be hype about One Piece again!
Just a pointless chapter with no sign of Kaido or the other gazillion humongous plots and world building to be revealed of One Piece and we are almost 70% done. Same old useless and repetitive interactions such as luffy getting ready to climb or to descend yada yada instead of showing us some other important plot points and interaction. No Fights/Important reveals literally boring filler chapter 3/10 would not read again.
What a great chapter, I couldn't help but hear "We Are!" in my head while reading. The whole thing felt like old-school One Piece for some reason.
A very good chapter, I really liked the interactions between the crewmembers.
It had some good nostalgia, just like in the old days, before we venture into something awesome.
