So now we have:
1-Everyone against Jack.
2-Swirly Hats and Luffy go and Dressrosa Team fights.

Personally, I prefer 2.

It doesn't matter what you prefer. I doubt Luffy and Co will simply leave even more with Luffy hearing the story about Jack.

And in addition. Pekomz wouldn't agree just because Nami says they have to rush. It is his home… Same goes for Neko, Inu, Raizou and samurais who have a depht and so on.

Law's best crewmate is a mink as well.

Actually there was absoutely no built up for just Zoro and crew vs Jack... All other people on the island have far more reasons... even more with the hyped up Neko and Inu spech about getting revenge and showing the true power of the minks

Zou is fucking amazing you guys.

Not only is all the info great, it's so great to see the Strawhats just interacting again, in a way that isn't just their usual quirks.

Again, the fact that Nekomamushi and Inuarashi were part of Roger's crew is neat, but it doesn't help much aside from just informing that they were part of his crew.

I loved the panel with everyone praising Nami, Robin asking Luffy to make a copy of the poneglyph; the moment with Nami and Chopper saying they're going with Luffy.

I really like Marco's powers, but it was in general pretty nice to hear what happened to the Whitebeard crew like that.

Lets hope the arc will keep up.

The exposition about Marco was cool. And I liked that the swirly hats want to accompany Luffy.
But I came to see the crew meeting Jack and I didn't get it :sad:

Honestly, have been waiting for some news about Marco and the Whitebeard pirates for too long, felt good hearing about them. So stoked Marco might have a role to play in what's to come, just hope he's actually in shape to do something.

The Minks are quickly growing on me too. Really loving the arc so far.

Robin says that she will go to Wano to have a look at the poneglyph Kaidou has there. That seems like very much of a stretch: I'm pretty sure we don't know for how long he has been there, but I felt like the implication was that it was not for long yet, if it wasn't very recent. Why would she instantly assume he brought his RP over there?

Still, just because it is logical, there has been no explicit mention by any of the characters that they thought he likely took it to Wano. For Robin to outright say "he has it there" is a stretch. I hope some phrase like "may be" or "probably" got lost in translation.

I imagine that Marco might be still alive but only thanks to his ability and that he is not as strong as he was after getting destroyed by Blackbeard..

Maybe his power can also heal others to some limit ? Or maybe there is extent to his regenerative powers that can make him fully capable of fighting for some time ?

I think that Oda mentioned wanting to elaborate in future on Marcos power a bit more. Seems like things have been planned in detail for quite a few years ahead.

It's not indicating anything of the sort.

Just that you can't get to it with a log pose, and you need the map pieces to find it.

Its a huge open sea full of crazy weather and sea kings that is impossible to navigate, so you can't find it unless you know where to go. Just sailing around the ocean randomly isnt going to find it.

It might still be hidden in some other bonus random way like being submerged or in the sky or shrouded by mists or whatnot, but we've already seen examples of all three of those things.

I don't know, I feel like Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure also applies in that at least that movie tried to apply logic to time travel in a semi-believable way.

This chapter organizes the plot quite well.
Crocus's statement is a little bit poopy now, though. And I'm surprised Luffy's grand fleet wasn't brought up with all this talk about gathering allies. Seems like a big new set of cards that were just added to the deck that are being put aside.

So fight with Jack. Kaidou will lose a important subordinate. Luffy will save Sanji (hopefully it'll be a short arc). Sanji needs powerful, like HARDCORE. EVERYONE ELSE needs to learn haki. Fight weevil and save marco. Get to wano and fight the shogun. Kaidou will be occupied w/ something else.

Luffy so far has all the allies he's gained from the dressrosa arc + minks, samurai and soon marco.

edit: so raftel isn't the last island of the log? it the last island that then will lead them to the next phase of the journey, the poneglyph and wano?

second edit: Robin knowing how Luffy thinks "oh that pineapple dude!!!" hahahahahahaha love my SHs together.

third edit: it makes sense that Marco was defeated. A year after the big war, Blackbeard would've had all his 10 captains, a large control of WB's territory, control over WB's df powers and his own, and probably a lot more followers.

4th edit: Zoro and the others will probably be going to find Marco.

BB, obviously. Oda's finally starting to set up end game (in ten years) so they have to start building as a credible final threat.

Dragon and co wont be utterly destroyed, there's still too much story there, but BB is gonna win the fight.

Dude, are you kidding? Oda-sensei works very hard and cares about his fans. Hell, the poor guy once collapsed and had to be hospitalized for a month thanks to overworking himself. I'd rather take a break one week a month than have the well run dry for longer than that because the poor dude made himself sick. Not to mention, he has a wife and two daughters and wants to spend time with his family. Should we be mad at him for trying to be a good dad, then? The entire reason he's even still writing this series (which he originally planned to do for five years) is because he likes doing it and loves his readers.

Of course the breaks suck. I don't like them any more than anyone else does, but saying "He needs to work harder" after everything he does is just ungrateful and rude.

Dunno, somehow i feel that wb pirates were a bit weaker than the other younkou- crews, but had an unbelieveably strong captain who was so feared that it balanced the scales compared to others. Cant see marco and others as strong individuals as kaidous calamities etc.

At the end of the flashback Luffy is hearing Zunisha like he did with the sea kings. Momo also seems to be able to hear voices. Are those 2 connected or not ?

well this chapter proves that the swordman in blackbeards crew already has jozu's diamond fruit and since mihawk could not cut diamond it makes sense to have it you forgot that blackbeard's crew are devil fruit hunter such as blackbeard stealing whitebeard fruit and them wanting sabo's fruit still after he ate it.

And I thought it was the magnetic fields that had to set so the island's could lock on to the next path…if it's just poneglyphs that would mean there are poneglyphs on every island and that makes them too common and completely retcons the physics of the log poses..., I believe it just meant if you follow themyou'll get to an island with the information on how to read them

he cannot heal others he would have used it on ace if that was the case if any of them are still alive then blackbeard crew left them alive to try and get them to work under blackbeard.

jozu is 100% dead since the swordman in his crew needs his fruit since mihawk could not cut diamond so its a way for zoro surpass mihawk and a way for their swordman to kill mihawk without actually being the best swordman.

the final red poneglyph might be on the final island so not a total waste.

You can only kill Marco and make sure he'll stay dead before he can regenerate…his power is really unique, I think BB was after his fruit as well. But something tells me they failed in the intent to kill him even with the darkness power. I wonder if you cut his arm after using the black hole power and than you release him...will grow back again or is lost forever??

His laser wounds closed after seastone cuffs were removed. So I'm guessing yes.

Whitebeard's top men went head to head with the Admirals. That is pretty huge. They just needed to get outclassed for the sake of the outcome of the war.

We've only seen Jack so far, and though we know that he is insane, his threat seems to stem from his psyche just as much as his physical ability. Whitebeard's top men might not seem that intimidating because Marco & co are good guys. If you wouldn't know Luffy as well as we do, you wouldn't think him as intimidating as someone like Doflamingo either. Yet he is at that level by now.

Shiryu vs Mihawk for best swordsman. Shiryu wins. Mihawk demoted to #1 contender.
Zoro vs Mihawk for #1 contender. Zoro wins. Maybe Mihawk isn't even 100% or handicapped.
Zoro vs Shiryu for best swordsman. Zoro wins. Dream achieved. Probably at Raftel.

Not sure of locations with other 2 fights. Shiryu eating Diamond fruit makes sense. Diamond is the hardest natural material in the world if I'm not mistaken. Combine Haki with DF and sword to make a CoA Diamond Sword!

In fairness, we haven't really seen much of the other Yonko's commanders so it's pretty hard to judge. Marco also has a really strong DF power, so I find it hard to believe he'd be a lot weaker than the others. I'd say their strength would be about equal, but it's just a personal opinion.

That would be pure redundancy. Armaments should be making the sword strong enough not to break while still attaining the properties of steel. Bending slightly, for example. Diamond katana would be too brittle to be of real use.

Also, he'd have to achieve awakening in order to turn other objects into diamond.

Nope, the last island has all the info about the poneglyhs and Raftel in normal writing(one that everybody can understand).

A normal pirate crew would travel to the last island and find that One Piece was related with Raftel and the Poneglyths. With that info they would start searching for poneglyths. Possible Big Mon, Kaido and others pirates did that entire voyage and now are in continuously search and war for the poneglyths and Raftel.

I think Marco will meet up with the strawhats later as intended between the cake and wano arc's and that will be how WB Jr. comes into play.

Yeah, but I'll be disappointed if none of BB's captains have at least a small scar. Not that it really matters in the long run.
