Okay, I think they should stop now.

@Venomous:

Well… that happened, and now there's 4 more stretch goals (with a possible 5th if some miracle happens).
!
I doubt anything past 4 million will happen though. Only ~55 hours left on the clock.

They just passed.
They just passed.
I meant anything past that 4 million stretch goal, oops.
But… looking at the way it's progressing, it might get further than I thought after all.
Damn, it looks like 2 people have paid for the IGA adventure at $10,000. Crazy
Oh hey, they revealed the 5 million stretch goal too. It's actually the final one now too.
!
Considering that kickstarters often have last minute donations, I'd imagine it should at least get to the $4.5 million range if not more so
Dangit, roguelike dungeon is great, why wasn't that earlier? Would much rather have that than "prequel minigame."
And pretty much anything before "Vita port".
Oh well.
So it seems Shovel Knight could be making a cameo according to the latest update
Donated my lot.
Robby, the so-called 'mini-game' is actually flippin' awesome. I dunno why they don't make their descriptions better on the main page or taunt the awesome New Game Plus mode.
It's supposedly a full-fledged game in its own right but even more classic (retro?) style than the main game. It's actually going to be available for purchase as a game in its own right although I'm sure it will be more of what we expect out of a Kickstarter game than what this mammoth promises to be.
Why wasn't this posted?

loooooooooooool that was way more entertaining than it should've been xD
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
I can totally dig a boss revenge mode
Wow, another soul paid the Igaventure.
At least they got Roguelike Dungeon with 7 hours to spare.
Jeeze. That final push was way more than I expected it to be.
And another hidden stretch goal too? Neat.
Hey guys! Guys! Its not all gloom and doom at Konami! Guess what?
We're getting a new classic CASTLEVANIA
New character revealed:

What is Gabriel doing there
lmao
At this rate Capcom is gonna announce the new Mega Man SKEEBALL EXTREME game tomorrow
It looks like they are taunting the fans of their most beloved IPs.
Next week it'll be Bomberman pachinko
I can't wait until the Diamond Dogs-themed poker table.
lmao
Dat saltiness .
It looks like they are taunting the fans of their most beloved IPs.
And yet this looks less disappointing than Lords Of Shadow 2.
Looks like this revelation left you speechless it seems:ninja:
shakes tiny fist at Fark's image uploading thingy
So apparently Konami's trying to help do some good

Dr. Madnar's research lives on.
Some screenshots of what the game will look like. It's still a ways until the game is released, so this is most likely just an early build. That said I'm not exactly liking the look currently. I thought it was going to be more 2d style with the way the concept art was being presented. The way the model looks I'm not exactly looking forward to it.
Still manages to look better than MN9…. lmao... yeah I feel like salt incarnate.

MN9 has just been a mess where Inafune has washed away all the good will that he had. Seems like many people who were willing to get the game to just give the middle finger to Capcom are not on board these days.
The visual style isn't currently to my liking, but if it's a good type of Castlevania game than it's a buy for me. There hasn't been one like it for a long time and I've been looking forward to that kind of game for a while now.

If you don't need the gothic style and rpg elements, check out Axiom Verge. It's a good Metroidvania.

I'm not sure how you got that impression. They've been pointing to Guilty Gear Xrd and saying "Like that" since day one.

I love metroidvania games, so I am planning on getting that at some point. Hoping a good sale happens soon on it.

I'll admit, I only knew very little about the game, basically that it was a castlevania type game from the creator, as well as the concept art. The concept art I aw gave me an impression that it was going to be 2D. Never played Guilty Gear so even if I heard about that I wouldn't have known what that would mean.
Like I said, this is probably still just early stuff to give an idea, and it will probably look better in action, so I'm not going to give final judgment until then.
Yeah from the start they explained why spritework wasnt feasible, they have been upfront in nearly every aspect including it being 2.5D. I actually think it looks pretty good for being this early, especially considering the scope of the game, it will continue to change quite a bit before its done. The first shader definitely looks better then the washed out looking one so far, its gonna be a fun ride to see this whole process though and how they will use our feedback for it.

It was 12$ I think during the Fall Steam sale. It probably will be again come the winter sale in a couple weeks.
Its a great game, the best metroidvania in years.
Yo guys I think this is a green flag that this might turn out well.
This looks like it's going in the right direction compared to the prior shaders.
http://www.siliconera.com/2016/01/21/bloodstained-ritual-night-updates-new-images-asks-fan-feedback/ Yo this looks pretty darn good now in my opinion.
(This is a veiled MN9 has no excuses post)
Reminds me of Guilty Gear Xrd.
Animation and enemies need more polish but overall I think this looks very promising.
Only thing I'm slightly worried about is maybe getting confused between foreground/background elements, although since it's not direct feed it's hard to say. In general this is looking like the game that I wanted, unlike mn9.
[immature]The boss take more damage when you kick her in the tits teehee[/immature]
I didn't follow or back that project at all, but I really like the music track they have going over it. If that's the sound design they're going for, then that's pretty high grade.
Looks really good. Jumping physics are a lil floaty, but that usually par of the course for these sort of games in early alpha. With this, Indivisible, and La-Mulana 2.. I'm really glad my favorite genre of game isn't dead ;3
Looking good so far!
One little detail I like is how they could keep enemies like "Buer" because Konami can't (or just didn't?) trademark demon names from real-world mythological texts.

Was that a joke? Because I see lots of games using demon names from real-world mythological texts, unless I am missing something. And this isn't made by Konami btw.

Inafune had to rename Mega Man as "Beck" and Protoman to who-gives-a-fuck because he left Capcom.
Igarashi can keep using plenty of his old standby Castlevania enemies despite this not being an official Castlevania game because they aren't Konami's properties. That's what I like :)
