Perfect! hahaha Not that I condone violence.
:)
Not to add insult to injury Geno, but your team's tiny chance of winning the division just went up.
! "Could Geno come back midseason and still put up 30 turnovers?” said Bowles. “Yes. I think he has that kind of ceiling. But it will be tough even for him.”
I really haven't run into anyone that is terribly upset by this.
I think Bowes punched him so he can put in Fitz.
Anyone catch any pres season games yet?
Just the 4th quarter of Ravens/Saints. Nothing special to report, other than our new rookie TE looking beastly. Albeit against 3rd stringers.
Kelvin Benjamin was diagnosed with a torn ACL. Probably the roughest injury any team has endured so far.
just watched the Browns/Skins game. The new runningback for the Browns is an SHSU alum!! I used to watch Timothy Flanders play in person!! He was really awesome to watch. I hope he does well this season. Guess I'll have to be watching a few browns games now… Also it looks like Manziel isnt going to be a complete turd. As fun as it is to rail on him, it'd be cool to see him turn it around and become a decent player.
Savage looked good for the Texans. Hope he keeps playing well

Giants lost four players in the first preseason game, with two of them being the Giants extremely promising first and second round pick being lost for the year.

Sorry if I wasn't clear. The Panthers lost their #1 WR. This would be like the Giants losing Odell Beckham Jr for the season.

I'm gonna say that they did so now I have some one to blame for why we lost >_> way to go.. Btw the seats we're field level, so close up and badass.
As a Bills fan, today is a sad, sad day.
Sigh
Browns are looking pretty good
Are you ready for Brady?
Unless you're Roger Goodell.
Cowboys v texans. It's going to get rowdy tonight at the bar. :|

Patriots get caught cheating and suffer no consequences. Business as usual.
Brady:
The Patriots are in trouble again..

You know to be honest, I think The Patriots are just bad at hiding shit. Like it's 2015, everyone and and I mean literally everyone has a camera. Who's to say that each team doesn't have their own people in the stands recording shit on their phone where they can later upload it to a USB and give it to someone who can then pass it on to the coach.

But this was going long before some idiot figured out there was some pressing need to put camera's on phones and other devices.

Right, but as GvR said, that wasn't the case back when this all started. And it's not just the video taping of signals with these guys. It's the stealing of playbooks, sabotaging of equipment, deflating footballs they'll use on offense AFTER they get checked for air pressure standards, and the list goes on. It's always SOMETHING with them.
The article even talks about the lengths they go to try to hide all the scummy crap they do. Like they operate under a standard of sneakiness or something.
The New England Asterisks.
Only 5 more months for this story to last til next offseason guys!
I know it's a lot more then just recording things, but I mean come on guys. The tactics you're using is so outdated, even when you got found out 7-8 years ago or even before that. I feel like they're trying to get use tactics that everyone probably used back int he 60' & 70's. The fact that everyone knows cheapens the sport. I honestly wish it never went public. I'd rather not know. :/
Then I definitely recommend that you don't read this one http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/09/08/patriots-cheating-suspicions-bill-belichick-tom-brady
! > At various times over the last decade, at least 19 NFL franchises took precautions against the Patriots that they didn’t take against any other opponent, people who worked for those teams told SI. Those concerns have not waned in the eight years that have passed since the Spygate scandal. The list of safeguards is long and varied. Teams commonly clear out trash cans in their hotel meeting rooms in New England because they believe the Patriots go through them. One longtime head coach said he ran fake plays in his Saturday walkthroughs at Gillette Stadium because he thought the Patriots might be spying on his team. Another team has taken things further: It fled Gillette and found a different place to practice, and on game day it piled trunks of equipment against the double doors in the back of the visitors’ locker room so nobody could get in. That same team kicked the visiting locker room manager out of the office he occupies near the clubhouse.
…
Teams wonder why ball boys in Foxborough seem to stand closer to opposing coaches than they do anywhere else. It is common for opposing teams to have an employee guard their locker room all day when they visit Foxborough, something they rarely do for other road games. One team that played there in recent years put a padlock on the doors when it arrived on the Saturday before a game. The Patriots threatened to call the fire chief. When the visiting team challenged them to do it, the Pats backed down and the padlock remained. “There has never been a time when we have knowingly allowed a team to padlock doors,” says Patriots spokesman Stacey James. “That’s a fire code violation.”
...
Home teams are supposed to provide certain communications equipment, but opponents often don’t trust the Patriots to do it. One team griped to SI that New England supplied a corroded battery pack. Another current head coach brings his own equipment because he doesn’t trust the Patriots to supply anything of quality. A representative of a third team says the Pats provided headset gear that looked “like it had been run over by a lawn mower. Frayed wires, the speaker is all chopped up. . . .” James says that it is league policy for all headset batteries to be changed 30 minutes before a game, and that the team has “always complied with that.” He adds, “We’ve never been cited by the league for doing anything wrong as it pertains to communication device violations.”
Another team executive says, “Anybody who has gone in there in the last five years will tell you some sort of problem or snag they never hit any other place. They are the worst hosts in football.”
! It just goes on and on like this.
I'm just happy that the Rams won against the Seahawks.
Good win for the Bills. Gotta make statements like that against playoff calibur teams if you're gonna be a contender yourself.
Losses by Super Bowl favorites Seahawks and Colts, with the Broncos trailing as I write this. Good start to the season.
What I find ironic about the Seahawks-Rams game, is that they probably should've done an inside slant pass on 4th and 1.
wow nice comeback cowboys
but i think the real story tonight is the TT win over the bucs
bucs are as bad as ever still :/
bucs are as bad as ever still :/
Word. I'm not a fan of Winston, and I can't understand how Lovie Smith can keep getting head coaching jobs.
Glad that my Cowboys won, although Bryant being out for practically half the season is going to hurt.
Well I guess Andrew Luck can't throw 5 TDs in EVERY game this season. Might as well get it out of the way early.
The Texans; Having problems with QB's since it's creation. Sigh

Well they did have 5 or so years of consistency, the pro-bowler Schaub era. The resurrected Browns have had it much worse at that position.
Pick 6. Cutler hurt. Down a couple scores. Sigh…..
And now, the Bears were stopped on 3rd & goal.
…Well I'm disappointed, but not surprised at all that the Bills came crashing back down to earth today. All the hype from the team and the fans and the media really put the writing on the wall for this outcome. Patriots were clearly the better team in all phases, are are still the team to beat in the division. Hope we get some things figured out by the next time we meet the Pats.
But for now, we're 1-1. On to Miami.
Man there are players going down all over the place.
Romo is down, Brees is down, Stafford is injured but probably not down, probably more that I'm missing
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
man the Jets are destroying the Colts' offense
What's with all the 0-2 starts from last year's playoff teams? Indianapolis joins Seattle, Baltimore and Detroit in some rather poor showings.

I believe the Colts had a 0-2 start last year as well

I would say that it's a tougher schedule for them this year but some of those losses were to teams that were awful last year.

Yeah, they did.
Brees only has a bruised rotator cuff, so he'll probably be alright. Sounds like it's not torn, but they might rest him a week. Not if he has anything to say about it, though. The Cowboys lost their two best players on offense to injury, and a previous third to an opponent and got off to a 2-0 start. Just crazy.
If there's one thing that surprises me more than anything right now, it's the overall ineptitude of the Eagles. I expected a Chip Kelly offense, and it just looks like poop.
It looks like the Jets are better than people think. That Broyles is a hell of a defensive coach, and having Chan Gailey do the offense with a QB he's familiar with is a step up from anything they've had in a long time.

Eh expect the status quo to reassert themselves at some point and time within the coming weeks.
Down goes Roethlisberger, wonder how long this will be for. QBs taking a beating so far this year.
Carson Palmer is 16-2 in his last 18 starts. Even before that injury last year, he vanished off the face of the earth for a while. Seems like he's back on the map now, good for him.

Pittsburgh's kicker is absolutely dreadful.
That was so painful to watch
I was rooting for the ravens but wow that has to SUCK. Maybe the image of flacco in that dog pile will cheer me up
