AOTS contender right here.
Onepunch-Man (redrawn version)

AOTS contender right here.
-
Metal Bat can take out Dragon level monster going by One words..
Those small(fillerish) fights are really cool in this remake.
I hope that tournament is half way done at this moment- that we skip as much as possible of it.
That poison could probably be dangerous to the likes of Bang :ninja:, unless u are Saitama, haxx is HxH level of haxx for the characters in the OPM verse..
-
Waiting for translation for the special chapter. If anyone find it please bring a link
-
That opening is like the first volume cover incarnate.
And that is obviously a serious punch at the end.
It's also as hype as Saitama is bald. So, very.
-
I read that OPM anime will be 12 episodes. I need that source if it's true.
-
I'm a newcomer to OPM. Didn't want to spoil the anime, so been holding off reading since it was announced!! All I can say is wow!! really loved it!! Can't wait for more!!
-
Can somebody link me to page where I can stream episode 1 in good quality without ton of adds ?

If you live in the U.S., here.
Otherwise, Kissanime and UBlock Origin should do the trick (Regular Adblock isn't safe anymore).

Thank you very much

Oooh yes … these action scenes!! <3
i had high hopes and i was not disappointed.
-
Mmmmmmm… Dat animation.
Fingers crossed that next week'll be just as good.
-
So friggin EPIC! I really do hope this goes for more than 12 episodes. I'd totally wait seasonally for it.
-
If they manage to do the current pacing, It'll likely cover everything up through Boros battle with 12-13 episodes.
The Bluray/DVDs are coming with 10min OVA which will likely cover a lot of the extras on the way.So there really isn't enough material right now for another season, at least for another year or two.
EDIT:
Oh by the way, One Punch Man Hero Encyclopedia came out, and storyboards ONE drew for some of the extras have been revealed on it. (like the Golden Ball/Springstache chapter) That should put the nail on the coffin on people who STILL thinks Murata does the writing. So while WE don't get to see it, ONE is drawing a lot more than we see.

Did anybody who was actually familiar with Murata think that?

Yeah, majority of OPM fandom on the western side.
Japanese side has less, thanks to debunking this myth being part of starting template in every OPM threads for the past two years lol. -
Ladies and gentlemen, we now live in a world where we can have TRIPLE OPM
TRIPLE

The worst thing about the anime is having to wait for the King reveal…again.

But if they do stop at Boros, that means we WON'T get the King reveal in time.
It would be in series 2… which will likely be years off from the end of this one.

But dude! It gonna be so AWESOME when we get to HEAR the KING MACHINE!!! That sound was something no other OPM version could give us yet! It will be a most glorious day once we get to see and hear King in the anime! ^_^

King shows up at the Hero's Association meeting before Boros, so at least we will get to meet him.
-
Well although you're technically right i actually meant the actual reveal with the whole King Engine and other stuff instead of a cameo(?).
And it being next season makes it even worse. At least we get Puri Puri Prisoner.
-

And you'd still have to be crazy to think he doesn't have creative input into the project. If you think he's a just an art monkey that acts as ONE's yes man then you're insane. Also those storyboards mean nothing. Murata could have easily been involved with the ideas behind them as ONE was drawing them up.
Here's the real point: Unless you have the entirety of the development behind this series recorded on video then there's nothing definitive that can be said about it's creative process in either way.

The King Engine was roaring during that S-class meeting though so we'd get the full effect of it though not the explanation.

I never said Murata doesn't have "creative input", I'm telling you that they themselves have told us, numerous times, that ONE does the writing. Both ONE and Murata have stated this.
Are you so paranoid that you automatically assume they're liars, and whatever you, "some random schmuck " fantasize must be the truth?
Let me throw your own statement back at you. Unless you provide some evidence to prove them wrong, you don't have anything to claim their statements false or misleading.
The burden of proof does not lie in me or the creators. They lie in you, man.
-
The databook has 10 page long interview between ONE and Murata. Hopefully some translations will surface eventually.
! And what do you know, ONE actually draws all the extra pages for the readaptation, and only then Murata begins to redraw them.
What a surprise.
-
Well that kind of solves the beginner's question about what to read first. Great couple there.
-
“I won't believe it unless you show me recordings of it“ :D

-
young jump special chapter
-
Great Philosopher fuck yeah.
-
It's missing one page.
-
Shame Licenseless Rider didn't show up. He must have been busy.
-
So uh,
I know Shicchi is supposed to to be a weak old man and all, but what if this is a hint for future chapters that he's ridiculously overpowered like Saitama?
! Assuming he becomes relevant anyway.
-
King had the same reading though so it probably messes up on either end of the scale.
-
"3 Tons Philosophy!"
-
I think Shicchi has the narrative purpose of 'being a part of the Hero Association's administrative process that isn't totally out of touch with reality'. To that end, it would be better if his physical strength were only that of an out-of-shape, over-the-hill salaryman; anything else would make it harder to relate to his character as "an ordinary human". Plus, if he were capable of superhuman feats himself, he probably would end up on Garoh's Hero Hunt.

@Devil:
"3 Tons Philosophy!"
I remembered Darth when I seen that attack…
Can someone post some pictures of volumes - art from volume 7/8 or 9? Some cool pages at least to make wait for English version bit easier..
Art of printed version looks amazing even of pictures made with smartphones..

Not sure anyone remembers this from the manga Spriggan like 20+ years ago.
I remember when Yuu's superior Mr Yamamoto, a mild-mannered completely average looking chubby middle aged salaryman, was revealed in the very last volume to be a retired "Spriggan" himself, and the world's best sharpshooter with a hand gun, and took out enemy agents that stormed his office.
I have to admit it was a very awesome fuck yeah moment.
-
Fubuki without noticing forced King to unlock the Engine, that was GG for her, lol.
-

It actually cracked before it tried to take King's reading from trying to take Saitama's reading, so who knows. Undefined is a suspicious number.

It doesn't just give undefined readings after that point either since it rated Fubuki. It might have underestimated her but the point that that mask couldn't account for some things, especially mental powers like being a genius, was set up earlier. Her just being as strong as an average person without her mental powers wouldn't be that surprising.

I'm fully on the side of it underestimating her. I know her powers are all mental, but she's still pretty tough. It ranked her below the average civilian who was tending to the cage. Besides, he clearly says at the end of the chapter that the mask got completely busted somewhere along the line, associated with that crack. So none of the readings after that point can be trusted at all, regardless of the reasoning you could attach to it.
And spitting out an undefined rating for Fubuki isn't funny. 19 is. It's obvious why one would be chosen over the other.
-
I've been watching too many times the opening, and started to actually try to notice certain things instead of just stay amazed by it.
, we get 4 awesome stills of the disaster levels in order (tiger, demon, dragon and god, but they left wolf out for some reason). Also, if the translation that's available is right, a part of the lyrics are:Hero! I don't want voices praising me or an ovation
Hero! So I fight against evil in secretAnd it's actually great that the lyrics aren't just beautiful with metaphor meanings, but actually refers to how Saitama's will handle his fame as the story goes on.
Also, I've been reading the manga adaptation from the start, and I can't find that King's redone spread anywhere. Does anyone have it?
-
How many Wolf level disasters have we seen?
There's a few characters that might count like the House of Evolution scrubs but, latest bonus chapter aside, I can't think of any that were directly confirmed as being that level in the comic.

I guess those weirdo monsters are mostly Wolf level (Crabman, Lightbulb boxer and house of evolution troopers). I guess most of C-ranks can deal Wolf level threats alone but if Demon and Dragon level disasters are getting more and more common there must be ton of Wolf levels to deal with.

If Red Scarf is typical of C-rankers these days, even a Wolf-level disaster is probably difficult for them to deal with alone individually. Then again, he's just about the top-third of that group.
Has One ever bothered to rate some of the monsters whose level wasn't given when they popped up? Some of them are easy enough to guess based on their actions but not all. Kind of hard to judge them when they run into Saitama first thing.

So child emperor thinks fubuki older, am I getting that right?
