Mine has OP in general and multiple pairings I'd taken interest in, and recently I've been, uh, a bit too much indulged in Law/Bonney I'd never imagined the feels to be this strong HALP oTZ I came across a lot of their artworks and I reaaaaally want to translate them all to share the love but well, it'll be impossible with the works in my current state oTZ

Well in the chapter where Sabo tells his story they sat very close to each other. And then Sabo left, everyone else was sleeping. Zoro was on the other side of the room, drunk and tired… and then they have matching outfits the other day. Imagine. I think there is room for certain doujins here.

LOL I can't see them together either …. but a lot of people also write in their fave crack!pairings, ones they know would never happen but for some reason they like the idea of it.

For realistic, as best chances of being-or becoming- a real couple my fave is Usopp+Kaya and Rayleigh+Shakky
But for a totally utter crack pairing= Usopp+Ace XD

I used to about 7 yrs ago, my muse has since died and its been difficult for me to get inspiration and follow it through.
I've only written a few OP things, most of it was X-Men or Yu Yu Hakusho.

I've never really been one to see romance in OP, but it does seem like the Luffy/Nami ship gets the most bones thrown to it. But even then, I can't see how they'd end up getting together lol. There was one fic I read that had a pretty plausible scenario though, where it starts a little bit after Robin joins the crew and Luffy finds a super blinged out diamond ring that he tripped on at some island they're exploring. He shows it off to the rest of the crew and Nami, being Nami, is so bedazzled by the ring that she plays mental gymnastics and thinks Luffy's proposing to her, so happily leaps in his arms and accepts. Luffy doesn't realize what she means and is like, "Oh you want the ring? Sure!"

So then Zoro and Usopp explain to Luffy the implications of what he just did while Sanji drinks himself to sleep (lulz), and Robin asks Nami if she'd actually want to marry Luffy just for a diamond. Nami shrugs it off because she's too busy with the diamond, but admits that a marriage with Luffy wouldn't be so bad and since they're pirates it wouldn't be a normal one anyway. And then when Luffy clarifies himself (but lets her keep the ring), Nami's fine with it but seems a little disappointed while Luffy goes up to Usopp and Zoro and is like, "Uh, guys….I THINK I REALLY DO WANNA MARRY NAMI" But then it all comes in handy after the timeskip, where Boa Hancock starts acting all weird and Nami remembers the ring, which she uses to claim she's Luffy's wife.

On a serious note, you better believe Boa Hancock will be after Nami's ass. Nami's alias is "dorobo neko" and in Japan that means you're a "husband/lover stealer". We saw this on Thriller Bark with Absalom and Lola and I am very confident this will happen when Hancock meets Nami. I don't know how Luffy is going to get Nami out that one lol.

Luffy won't, Sanji or Usopp will, pretending to be Nami's love. Sanji is always up to that. I mentioned Usopp, because he would pretend to do that for his namaka and he's smart enough to think of a decoy.

This was actually brought up years ago when she joined them for the 2 year skip. A fan favourite theory was Robin was gonna be Luffy's new mom XD. Although it probably should be brought up that Robin simply likes weird cute things, like the Paw Pads at Thriller Bark, Cerberous, Chopper etc. It's pretty much the only Character development she gets now

In all seriousness though, it's obvious Nami and Luffy are supposed to be a couple.

…despite the fact that she not only doesn't appear until chapter 8, but she's also not even the first character to join the crew.

Nami hugged Luffy in the recent chapter - of course, it was because she needed a shoulder for Sanji - but still.

It's very subtle, but I feel that there's something there where Oda wil probably only reveal it right at the very end when there's some timeskip and they show his child or something.

I don't ship in this series nearly as much as I do in others because of Oda's whole "no romance" thing, so I'm fine with (but not serious about) lots of different pairings:
I like both Luffy/Nami and Luffy/Hancock (even though the latter's a little weird cuz she's like 12 years older than him)
Also like Sanji/Nami (probably even more than Luffy/Nami, actually)
Franky/Robin
Usopp/Kaya
Kohza/Vivi
Shanks/Makino
Hachi/Camie
Oh…and Paulie in a threesome with Kiwi and Mozu. Just for the entertainment factor of watching all the nosebleeds that would ensue.
