Finish it 10 times.

@Joy:
I've beaten Doflamingo and Aokiji hasn't appeared.
Same here, haven't seen Enel either.
-
@Joy:
I've beaten Doflamingo and Aokiji hasn't appeared.
Mhh maybe you have to beat Shanks also for it, not sure.
-
I just bought this game today. I'm really excited about it.
Let's see if I get a hold of it quickly. -
@Joy:
I've beaten Doflamingo and Aokiji hasn't appeared.
Aokiji and Enel appeared for me after I beat Shanks.
-
At last. Man, it was quite a grind to max everyone's crew levels. The coins aren't actually a problem. I had every coin for a long, long time before I finally got every skill poster maxed. Money also completely stops being an issue, for a very long time now I've had 999,999,999 beli and not a single thing to spend it on.
-
^congrats
I've been sticking exclusively to Nightmare Log since I've level broken the entire cast, makes crew leveling more convenient when you get like 1.5-2K partner EXP per map.
-
Hey guys, quick question.
I've been playing co op with a friend and it seems whenever the second player attempts to complete a Treasure Event, the game doesn't recognize that they have.
For example, one event might say, beat Jabra with Sanji. Well, the second player plays as Sanji and defeats Jabra, but the treasure event doesn't get checked off.
Can the second player just not complete any treasure events? Anyone else having this issue?
-
Can the second player just not complete any treasure events? Anyone else having this issue?
I think that's intentional. It only goes off the P1 character. I think it might actually say that in one of the in-game tutorial windows, not sure. The treasure event won't trigger if you don't get a "?" on the map to begin with. For example, if there's one that says "Beat Shanks with Luffy", Shanks will have a "?" on him if you're playing as Luffy but not if you're playing as anyone else. So basically, if Jabra doesn't have a "?" on him it won't trigger. As a side note, the "?" thing can be a bit confusing sometimes, though - usually in multi-stage criteria like freeing the prisoners in Impel Down. I think all prisoners are needed but it doesn't show the "?" until the last 3 prisoners in the final room. That's the exception, though.

Well, thanks for letting me know. That's a bit unfortunate. I'll have to play a great deal of the levels on my own to get some of the special coins. Oh well!

How many hours did that take?
-
well looks like I have to start over because my entire save game (73%) is suddenly gone.
-
Aokiji and Enel appear in the Dream Log after you complete a certain amount of islands. I wasn't keeping track of how many islands I beat but it was a few after 75% completion. It wasn't dependant on beating a certain character so for those just blitzing the map to unlock people will be disappointed.
So I was wondering how in the fuck Lapahn is a support while Sengoku isn't even in the game…

On one hand, you are completely right. On the other hand, Sengoku isn't a giant, fluffy killer rabbit. So, I'm conflicted.
-
in case some of you people don't know the second pack is out now in the PS store
-
Lapan are easy to make, and Drum needed mooks. We to this day only have one attack from Sengoku, and haven't seen the Buddah form clearly.
-
Thanks guys.I've beaten Shanks and all other bosses but I've only gotten one gold coin for level break (Doflamingo's)
-
My Doflamingo is now Level 64. Got arround 90 Gold Coins left to collect. Have done 5 DLC Stages and will do the Rest with Level 100. Its still so much Fun :)
-
So I was wondering how in the fuck Lapahn is a support while Sengoku isn't even in the game…
On a purely business/ R&D level, Lapahn is a hold-over NPC from the previous two games while Sengoku has never appeared in any form in any other game aside from the FMV cutscenes. If they ever get Sengoku in the game, they'd have to start from scratch.
-
I mean Sengoku's not in the game….at all. I never said that I'd want him as a playable character or support. He is by far the most notable character(through PH) completely omitted from the game. At the very least he should get the Iceburg treatment. I'm going to assume it's because Sengoku's voice actor passed away.

They appeared for me when I had two or three islands left to complete, though. -
Finally got the Plat after 120hrs, I really hope this game has cross-save cuz that's the only way I'm double dipping when I get a PS4.
For anyone who needs help maxing partner levels just go to the final stage of dream log and keep on enter/exiting the prep menu until you get someone you need to level, be sure to use someone with great control and easy Kizuna building like Perona/Fujitora/Caesar/Magellen and you'll get 2500-3500+ "!"s per run (equipping Battlefield Charisma also helps)
You can also go to stages where only specific NPCs will show up (Donquiote Pirates vs. Baroque Works, Cheerful vs. Cool, Pirates of East Blue, etc.) if you just need to level one or two more characters

Sorry for the delayed reply. Man, to be honest, I have no idea. A long time, though. I played it most of the day for a couple of weeks at least. It could've gone a lot quicker if I'd realised the best way to level up skill posters earlier. You just do the last island in Dream Log and keep quitting and re-entering it until you get someone who isn't maxed. Do the level as normal, making sure to only use your musou attacks when there's a crapload of enemies on-screen, and you get quite a lot of exp in one go - enough to level up in one go at lower levels. Nightmare Log doesn't really improve it because it just takes longer to do. Trying to level multiple crew posters at once isn't such a good idea because it just spreads the exp out too much. So yeah, it would have gone a lot quicker if I'd done that from the start.

Dammit! Should've said yes instead? :( Does it say anything about having an English dub?
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Or prefer subtitles over dub?
-
There's a mistake in there about the game having English voice-overs.
Oooooorrrrrr maybe it's not a mistake and they're measuring interest in an English audio option for future games. One can dream, right?

Maybe for a fourth game in the series? You never know for sure?

I mean? When was the last time we Time and time again! Plead & complain to the companies that English dub games can sell more than subtitle series?

Unless it's a crossover game?
Yeah but that's some other can of worms to deal with?

Why sometimes when we use the kizuna rush the time is slowing down?

Yeah will do that when I got all Coins that are Missing, only 56 to go^^

Why sometimes when we use the kizuna rush the time is slowing down?
Different combinations of characters have different power-ups in kizuna rush mode. It's based on fairly obvious things like if your character and his ally are both Marines or both Straw Hats. You'll see it display a name for this power-up at the top-right of the screen when you activate the rush (it'll be something like "Can I call you friend?", that kind of thing). One of them makes you invincible when in kizuna rush, another ones does the slowdown thing you're talking about. There's more than that as well.

I don't think that's the case. They've been releasing One Piece games for about 15 years without English dubs or any other language dubs. This is a property that's popular all over the place so just adding in US voices doesn't really appeal to the majority of the audience. Would you care if there was a Lithuanian dub option? Would it mean anything to you other than something to put on once for a laugh? That's how most people view the US dub since most OP fans are outside the US. The US dub is just another bunch of foreign voices to us, not the actual voices of the characters. I think this was just a generic copy-pasted survey that they screwed up.
-
I don't think that's the case. They've been releasing One Piece games for about 15 years without English dubs or any other language dubs.
Did you forget that Unlimited Adventure and prior titles that were localized for the west had English dubbing? In fact, every 4Kids era OP game had english voice acting.
The "JPN audio only" thing is still a very recent business choice. This is a property that's popular all over the place so just adding in US voices doesn't really appeal to the majority of the audience.
You're assuming that they're aren't people in the fandom who like or prefer English voice acting. The appeal of the property won't reach a wider net with Japanese voice acting alone.
Both English and Japanese audio would appeal to people who like JPN voices, people who like ENG voice, people who like both, and casual people who want to play a fun game that just so happens to be a OP game.Would you care if there was a Lithuanian dub option?
I actually would like to see OP video games have as many language audio options as possible for every different region.
But that would require a massive budget that we'll likely never see attached to a licensed anime game.Would it mean anything to you other than something to put on once for a laugh? That's how most people view the US dub since most OP fans are outside the US. The US dub is just another bunch of foreign voices to us, not the actual voices of the characters.
Are you the representative for One Piece fans outside the United States? You can't deny that there are many fans who enjoy the Funimation dub. And even if they didn't, there's always the option to switch to the Japanese voiceover. That's the charm of dual audio.
The casual majority audience who've never heard of One Piece before don't care about "foreign voices". If the game catches their attention and it's in a language they can understand, then that's a potential sale right there. Trying to grow the audience is just as important as catering to the core audience.

Do you know where i can get a recap of all the kizuna rush combinations and power-ups? -

http://t.co/TIxv3EXRfhWow thank you I as just scrolling to see how people are liking the US version didn't expect to find a survey this is awesome, Is there also a thread open for the new one piece game coming out ?

It's been a loooong time since i've been so fucking angry because of a game!!!
I played the Water 7 Departure Mission two times! And BOTH times one of my teammates got wrecked by Garp ONE second before i could reach them!! WTF!!?? Why do they die within a few seconds??
And this mission is god damn long … 45 minutes for nothing!! And I don't have that much time to play at the moment!!!Damn ... i think i'll take a break for a few days ...
-
Scratch what I said guys, Sengoku is in the game…
! As a coin
So next notable character left out is Kid. Poor guy got Lapahn-ed.

I didn't! Well, the second time … the first time i actually beat him, then went to help Zoro, who got beaten one second before i reached him! That idiot!!
The second time i tried to stay near Garp and protect everyone ... but that didn't work. Well, guess i had bad luck. Whatever. Still mad. -.-

If you are doing a first run through of the story don't worry about trying to get all of the legend coins or treasure events because it will take more than one time on a level to collect everything (especially with episodes such as the Enies Lobby and Marineford chapters)
-
I'm getting fairly close to collecting all the trophies and may have been done already had NBA2K16 not come out. The crew levels weren't that bad to raise once you pay attention to which characters are supports for the non-randomized maps. The coins aren't an issue since you can only get one of a particular rare(that is then taken out of the pool permanently). Nightmare Log seems to give rare coins from bounty/character maps 100% of the time if you don't have a named ally flee but I could be wrong on that. It could just be sheer coincidence on my part.
The only head-scratcher I've had with the game thus far is unlocking the skills. I'm pretty sure I've beaten Coby/Vista/Jozu 10 times a piece but the skills still aren't biting.
Edit: So you don't need coins or skills to get 100%. You could ignore Nightmare Log as well since nothing is needed there. Probably my first and only platinum trophy but I'll cherish it
-
I think I'll try getting the platinum too.
(starting Marine Ford now)
-
borrowed the game from a friend, this is a crazy game so far, just reached 100% only on Lougetown and Buggy maps and story wise reached Drum island, think the worst has been Arlong park level because ussop kept losing alot in areas i was nowhere near

Can someone explain to me how i get the first treasure events from chapter 1 episode 2
The condition says: Battle Kuro with Usopp. At first i thought that i just had to clear the episode as Usopp, but that doesn't seem to be it.
Thanks in advance. -

Thanks in advance.get to kuro, and then lure him to the very beginning of the stage where usopp is fighting..a cutscene should start
it's a pretty tedious condition because you have to constantly slowly backtrack so that he will follow you
-
And try not to conquer/fight minions outside the main goals.
I found Kuro to follow me better when he didn't get distracted with killing my minions. -
Okay thank you, i'll try that!!
-
Where do i buy the ingame costumes? I've read that i need to buy them after beating levels with the right criteria, but the belli shop only has movies and music?
-
It's in the Belli shop, in the Other categorie.
If they haven't showed up yet then you probably need to beat certain levels with certain characters. -
Ah, well i've gotta read up on that then. Thanks
-
Hey guys thanks for the tip last time!
I now have a new question to ask…
How do i complete the legend in water 7 that says ''Clear stage without engineers calling reinforcements''?
