I have a few questions after I read the chapter:
- For sure Luffy is going to face Fujitora
That doesn't look like a question for me

English isn't the guy's first language, cut him some slack.
About Rebecca and Kyros, I don't see why the people say that plotline is solved. At least that Riku is ok with lying to the whole country and letting his daugther and her father live in the hidden. Which would be shitty plot imo. I suppose the right thing to do would be stop lying also to the people, and to get rid of that ridiculous prejudice against a "low profile" guy like Kyros. He simple deserves to be right there as the father of the queen and saviour of the country. (And somehow I was expecting for Luffy to do that, but what he did was nice still). So maybe someone should ask Riku if he's ok with keeping all the lies.
Now about that leg…
http://www.16bitarena.com/kyleg.png
Seriusly it would be much better if he didn't get his leg back. Most likely we'll know what's Oda's solution on the volume books.
Yes this. This chapter is is a victory for the sole reason that an emotional scene with Rebecca finally worked in the way it was intended.
I really liked the last scene withe Rika and Kyros together. In that moment, they acted similarly, and with that I could see the family bond.
Same impression here.

Yeah i mean for all we know he could be a Scotsman or something
In the panel where the marines fired against luffy and rebecca, everyone had a star shaped mark on their arms, maybe that's the reason they "collapsed", it was like the activation of some power/ability (law?)
Badass chapter. I knew the translations would make it worth the read. I like how Luffy asked Becca if she was fine where she was before making his move. Was nice to see Farul alive and well after getting his head crushed, Bastille and Maynard show intelligence but they're still weak as fuvk. Showdown between Law and Sengoku/Luffy and Fujitora is going to be siiicck.

Could be where Mansherry sapped their stamina for her healing ability and it left a star mark or something.
Mangastream: http://readms.com/r/one_piece/797/2901/1
I did not care about anything this chapter. Not a single page. It's just the culmination of everything with Rebecca and Kyros and this just shows their characters were not made interesting enough across almost 100 chapters.
Goes back the big issue of too many characters in this whole arc, so only a handful actually stuck.

I guess you might be right, but i can't find anyone else with the same star mark on their arm, and upon closer inspection, the guy with the dark wristband, on the next page doesn't have the star mark, that's why i think it's an ability used on them.
Can the reason of Law disappearing be the fact that Barto is leading everyone to the eastern port so that all the marines are in one place and then he uses room to switch everyone to the "real" port so that they can escape without much trouble?
Son? HAHAHAHAHAHA!
@Game:
Man I actually liked this chapter, I don't care what anyone says. This chapter alone doesn't make up for the disappointment that is Rebecca, but I actually felt for her this time around. I'm glad we finally have a resolution for them, and that Viola, who's probably the most competent of all the Rikus, can be the proper queen.
Yeah, a good chapter overall. I almost cried a little bit at the end.
However, I just want to slap every non-named character this chapter. Seriously, these Dressrosians… And the Marines aren't better as well due to their sheer incompetence. So, there's a pirate with DF powers granting him immunity to bullets holding a person without these powers whom you actually want to save - and they are moving fast. Really a good idea to shoot...

And why does that woman wear the same dress as Sugar?

Pretty much my thoughts.
This was a decent and necessary chapter that ties up some loose ends, but man are those citizens fickle and annoying. Also, I understand dislike of Rebecca but do people really just want to leave plotlines unresolved like that?

No kidding, they easily could have killed Rebecca… snipers or not. What a dumb tactical decision.
This chapter needed to happen, and I'm relieved Rebecca won't be joining and glad that her story is finished. Hopefully Law will get some closure as well, but shouldn't be too many chapters before the arc ends.
Haters can bitch all they want, it will not change that most people overall didn't had hard feelings with this chapter.
I am glad Luffy didn't simply revealed the truth by himself. I was expecting his unfinishing business to be something more interesting (or, better, funny), but I won't complain. The only thing I would find terrible would be he taking care of the (family) matter by himself and just exposing Rebecca's true father to everyone as many were expecting, so I can rest at ease knowing that Luffy didn't turn out to be a dick.

Well, he was ok with lying to the whole country and letting his daughter and her husband live in the hidden, so…
Dressrosas people are idiots they lose trust to their kings and saviors in hours
And that was completely unique to see Rebecca cry I have never seen that before
Jokes were good it was ok chapter
Something different… Yes I do not like this arc BUT do someone has absolutely no "feelings" toward this reunion of Rebecca and Riku? Not because I do not like the Rikus but because it seems so "rushed" in this chapter.
It was just Luffy "Oh pick Rebecca up and bring her to Kyros"... That's it.
I at least hope that the Luffy sailing away will have some impact to me. You know like leaving Vivi behind...
A sweet scene mixed with marines chasing pirates. Classic chapter. Sweet chapter.
Now I hope that Law will talk with Sengoku. Hopefully it takes only half a chapter to get rid of Bellamy.
You can't give it weight if you don't properly build it up. I think that's why I just didn't care. I liked Rebecca's initial backstory, but it still didn't really leave much of an impact, so all the way through now her character hasn't left much impact either. The base wasn't good enough, so the end result left me cold.

Sums it up nicely for me. Couldn't have said it better myself
I really hope the next arc will have a more compact cast of characters or actually, panel time is actually used to develop them instead of getting them from location to location.
The huge side cast is why the Strawhats are only expressing their very basic character traits, too.
English isn't the guy's first language, cut him some slack.
Thank you, I forget to remove the dash for the last sentence.

You're overthinking this way too much. Who has a devil fruit power that can make people collapse to the ground and be stuck there…this same person used this to hold Law on the ground, a man who can essentially teleport himself. It was Fujitora.

I agree… This and the pacing.
The following is just my opinion brought in an exaggerated way
!

And why does that woman wear the same dress as Sugar?
So knowing that, Fujitora used gravity on the soldiers so that they would hold their fire and not shoot Rebecca. The only explanation you could pull out of this chapter without further knowledge.
BTW
I know Cavenfish and Bartolomeo shared a lot in this arc and there was a debate about them being equally important and having screen time?
Do anyone think as well that this has changed now. While Cavendish is simply with the others Bartolomeo has a huge role to stand out of the others
The dress suits Rebecca more than the armor.
Can someone please explain to me the Rebecca hate? When we're first introduced to her, she is a fairly competent fighter. But even if you're a good fighter, there are just some people who are much better than you. So she couldn't beat Diamante. So do people hate her because she just isn't that strong? Then she comes face to face with Doflamingo who obviously is many times stronger than Diamante. Do people hate her because she isn't a badass who says "F*** you!" in the face of imminent death? Sure Viola confronted Doflamingo when she stood no chance, but you could argue that was just really idiotic of her.
She is a victim of circumstance. She was put into situations she couldn't possibly get out of herself and should not have been able to get out of. Oda made her come across Doflamingo to make Luffy's return more emotional. I can get why some might just not care about this plot thread, but the hate for Rebecca seems silly to me. The weekly format for an arc that went on for as long as Dressrosa makes people get frustrated and impatient, and can affect and alter their opinions and perceptions. Like many One Piece arcs, I think people will be able to look back at it, read through the whole thing quickly, and decide they don't hate it as much.
So with that said, this was a good chapter to complete or nearly complete this plot thread. The bond between Rebecca and Kyros, with her being raised by Soldier who she didn't know was him, is nice.
And I hope people are right that Law has some unfinished business with Doflamingo and/or Marine people like Sengoku or Tsuru because Law hasn't got the closure he needs.
Get away from the window Rebecca, the person who saved everyone from being slaughtered yesterday is there!!!
I think the reaction of the people of Dressrosa isn't that weird. They were betrayed and mindfucked ten years by a "Pirate hero".

I disagree with "competent fighter", She is good dodging. I don't hate Rebecca but I understand that there are a lot of possible reasons to do it.
BTW: For sure Sengoku will meet Law, Why is Sengoku in Dressrosa instead others Vice Admiral or Admirals?
Dressrosa people are more idiots than the people from Namakura Island.
- Isn't her weakness, is 'cause she spend all time crying.
I think this is the chief reason why most people don't like her.
- Duplicated. Is a Vivi bad version.
I see this statement again and again everywhere and I have yet to see how Rebecca is similar to Vivi at all except being another princess.
She didn't spend a lot of time with the crew.
While she wanted revenge against Doflamingo too, her character's main villain was without a doubt Diamante.
She has never been portrayed as a princess who cares about the country at all. What better example than this chapter itself.
Vivi wasn't against fighting at all. Just against her people dying/getting injured.
One might just start calling random princesses Vivi.
I get it that Dressrosa is similar to Arabasta in many regards but Rebecca has almost nothing in common with Vivi. The closest to Vivi in Dressrosa is Law.
P.S. This wasn't really targeted at your post. Just the general idea of Rebecca being a bad Vivi.

Hmm no idea what that face is meant to mean.

- Is useless in a fight.

- Doesn't contribute to the plot, if you remove her character doesn't affect the Manga. Kyros would fight Diamante anyway for killing Scarlet.
BTW: For sure Sengoku will meet Law, Why is Sengoku in Dressrosa instead others Vice Admiral or Admirals?
Yeah it seems like all the problems people have with her stem from her crying. Everyone cries in One Piece. I admit I wasn't too fond of her screaming help to Lucy when Luffy made his comeback but eh.
She is definitely a competent fighter with her own unique style. She tries not to hurt people because that's what her mother wanted. Like I said many are ridiculously stronger than her. That doesn't mean she isn't competent.
She is also definitely significantly different from Vivi. There might be some similarities but you can find similarities anywhere with anything.
She contributes to the subplot of her relationship with Kyros and such. It's meant to add to the emotion of this arc. And it did.
Hmm no idea what that face is meant to mean.
I'm deeply saddend by the realization that you don't recognize Curly

I was actually surprised with the Kyros/Rebecca stuff being wrapped up this chapter. When Luffy dropped her off saying that she needed to be careful, I thought we were going to have her gets pages of running around and trying not to be caught. Instead, we skip that and have her confront Kyros, tell him what she wants, and we find out what she said to Violet. Despite being a quick chapter, I felt the impact of the scene between Rebecca and Kyros. I do have to laugh at Kyros being "I didn't lie, I did those horrible things" and Rebecca going "Not that you idiot". While I did have some qualms with Rebecca at one point, I can appreciate everything culminating into this point. Rebecca and Kyros's story have always been as a pair, so liking both characters and their overall development is essential to really like this chapter.
Liking how next week is pointing to Law and Sengoku confrontation. I don't know what exactly to expect, but something that will wrap up Law's side of the story for this arc. I can see a more laid back Sengoku deciding to give Law a pep talk for Corazon's sake, and have Law finally realize that there is more to his life at this time. Then I see Sengoku going Buddah on his ass because while he is more laid back, he does have a job to do.
The part with the Marines falling down but being conscious means my theory is still possible, but can't be confirmed until at least next chapter.
Bartolomeo telling Zoro he's going the wrong direction but still thinking about how cool he is was funny. Also liked how when Zoro thanked the group for backing them up, he was told they were just giving back what they owed, then immediately went "though we owe much more than this". Last but not least, I loved the image of Fujitora coming towards the group while standing on a floating piece of pavement. That entrance gives me the badass vibes, and I love it.
Nothing mind blowing, but a nice little chapter that wraps up a plot point introduced early on.
Mhpf … Viola will be the Queen of Dressrosa...
Do you think Sanji has any chance to become the King at the end of the manga?
... Sorry Sanji but I don't think so.

The Three Stooges was never a significant aspect of my life. But I still don't know what you were implying by using his picture with my quote.
I guess Oda could have reworked the plot to try to give Rebecca more to do. Or made her stronger.
It's like my thoughts on one of the Doctor Who seasons, where the writers kept putting Amy Pond into circumstances where she couldn't do much and it wasn't her fault. Like she got pregnant. And in the episode where she gets stuck in some place for many years fighting to survive, I think it's a giant plot hole that the writers made her stupid enough to press the wrong button without talking to the other characters first. You see two buttons, you freaking ask which one to press!
The Three Stooges was never a significant aspect of my life.

Yup. Been thinking that for a while now. But since they being mirrors what the main reason I excluded the chances of Barto… well... I'll just say I prefer not to think about it, but I agree with you.

A royal member couldn't marry with a non nobleman. Is a pity, Sanji finally has been matched. They are the Romeo & Juliet of One Piece.
Will be Bartolomeo able to stop Fujitora with his barriers? Luffy's face is too funny, he can't run away from the Admiral, 'cause he can fly!
It's his catchphrase.
OOOOHHHHHHH all good then :)
Why I oughta!
That's correct, right? I did good?
I absolutely hate Rebecca, so this chapter didn't do anything for me. At this point, it's just blatantly obvious that Oda is stretching this shit out because of some big reveal for 800 (which is a stupid way to write a story). A lot of the content in some of these chapters could easily be combined and streamlined.

Nouu, they're still equals, they simply won't be doing everything holding hands.
At this point, it's just blatantly obvious that Oda is stretching this shit out because of some big reveal for 800 (which is a stupid way to write a story).
Or maybe he's just tying up all the Dressrosan plotlines one by one.

If anything Oda kind of rushed through this meeting with Rebecca and Kyros, with him barely putting up any resistance to her reinvigorated attempts to live with him.
