As a question, are the people giving Kenpopo donating blood, their lifespan, or their healing factor/health? I'm inclined to think the last option is most accurate but Aohige's original summary said life and none of the translations have really been specific.
Kenpopo who the hell is that? Is that a Diablo 3 reference?
Quite unsure what you're asking but if it's what I think it is they're simply donating blood so that her lifeforce isn't diminished greatly from all the healing she's doing and apparently old man Sengoku thinks his blood can heal a shit ton of people, I mean he is the Buddha after all maybe he's onto something. I don't think it affects their own lifespan by donating because blood replenishes over time.
If I just said a bunch of stuff unrelated to what you were asking I do apologise, that Kenpopo threw me off.

It's a combination of Blood Donation and Dandelion.
@Game:
if any of those blood donations have hepatitis c well…

Right, thanks for clearing that up I don't remember reading Kenpopo on my first read through. Makes sense now.

Maybe you only read the Panda translation? Stream and Powermanga both had notes explaining the name but I think Panda just skipped the pun.
But yeah, it's obviously in the style of a blood donation but I don't think it's actually blood they're donating. To me it doesn't really make sense for it to be blood since no blood is visible either during the donation or the distribution. I think the dandelion grows either from energy, or perhaps uses blood like water to grow. Even then, though, I feel like the blood is more a medium for life force than it is a mere transfusion.

True. But there's a few things wrong with this person's mind. Rule of 3.
1. He loves the Rosario Vampire manga so much! That he wants Toei Animation to do a adaption of the Manga faithfully… ?
2. His art is very terrible and he even charge his crappy comics with actual money instead of points!
3. He blocked me on Google+ due to his butthurtness of wanting Skyrim (A PC game release a few years ago.) to the PS4.
And he can't even do that right? XD

Bottom line is? Stupidity will come in all shapes and sizes. And in this case? I'm glad he's happy about his Pitty Console race. Cause PC is way better. XD
My rig was gonna be around 2.1k USD. But you know life and other stuff.
Bought a ps4. Should do me well.
Next chapter, Grizzly Magnum Vs Burning Meteor, pleaseee!

I'll second that, Bernie Crane too!
People getting their panties in a bunch at the lack of "feminism" need to grow up. Fussing over that line is someone looking for a reason to pull out that card.
"GIRLS LOOK BETTER IN DRESSES" isn't a chauvinistic remark.
It is a widely accepted thought that girls look good in dresses. Saying that you look better in a dress isn't putting anyone down. My lord.
"You look better in a suit", "You look better in silk", "You look better in blue"
None of them would cause any fuss whatsoever
Don't speak the truth and wake up the angry feminist regime @Z0R0:

Looks like Kaido and Kidd Alliance were well matched.
If not then I think that Kaido would already be on Dressrosa. Next time we will see Kidd alliance they will be heavily beaten but I do expect Kaido to sustain some damage from that fight as well.
Luffy and Law beaten Doflamingo who should be around as strong as people like Marco, meaning(imo) that 3 of Supernova Captains(+ Killer) have decent chance of living through fight with Yonko himself and damaging him. Of course not any very serious injuries but few attacks of Supernovas being effective against Kaido would help hype both sides- Kaido and Kidd alliance.
So we dont think that it was nonsense for them to try and go after Shanks or that they do not look impressive at all compared to what Luffy is capable with his Gear 4th.
Otherwise I would expect Kaido to already get to Dressrosa and wreck havock there, not minding that there is Isshou and others on island.
I sure do wonder if Kidd will change his plans considering Yonko he wants to take down after his fight with Kaido. Perhaps he will switch his interest to Big Mom.

Ey, thanks for the quick scalation this week! Sure is the best available on the web.
I notice you have a new translator. Let me ask you: are you not using cnet translations any more?
How did Sengoku's hair turned white and his beard too in just two years? I mean with Garp we saw a transition but Sengoku's aging seems hurried to me.
Bill Clinton was the same after his second round of being the president of the United States of America.
Compare photos of him from end of 2000 and 2003.
@Jazzy:
I could care less what the handmaiden said since Rebecca is most likely going to toss her dress away next chapter regardless. Hell this is the same maid that was talking about the oh so dreamy prince Scarlett eloped with which is just oh so romantic. He certainly wasn't some filthy warrior. I doubt Rebecca was cool with anything the maid said, not just her gossiping. All this shit is building up to a moment where Rebecca redeems her character, it's in your face obvious.
"Why do we have to lie!?"
"Are you sure about giving the throne to Rebecca? Scarlett was headstrong."
"It's for the best, Rebecca is a child."
Luffy: "Bullshit."In the face of all this foreshadowing how could anyone think she'll remain a princess? She isn't about to adhere to daddy Kyros' wishes. Hell, the constant argument everyone throws out about how Kyros told her never to fight again was tossed when she IMMEDIATELY picked a sword back up and attacked Mingo.
I could feasibly see Rebecca throw the princess title away and choose instead to be a fighter for the country and get more training from Kyros who would now be able to teach her more serious stuff after becoming human again. Arguably, she may have been upholding pacifism because she thought Scarlett was her only parent. Now that she knows Kyros, she could adapt the ideals of both. Even prior to Kyros returning to human form, Rebecca already tried attacking in the finals. She's not out to preserve her "untainted" hands. Hell that THAT is Kyros' major damage might even be a reason she would WANT to "taint" them!
Of course, all this tainted hands nonsense is most likely going to be spun into "protecting what you love" or some such instead. =P
Both of their arcs are going to be resolved.
Honestly that would satisfy me on so much levels. I've been so frustrated with everyone telling her what's best for her . Great post.

Ey, thanks for the quick scalation this week! Sure is the best available on the web.
I notice you have a new translator. Let me ask you: are you not using cnet translations any more?
The new translator is more of a luxury than an outright replacement for cnet. We'd prefer to use our own translator because we can engage in a feedback process with regard to how certain lines are translated, something we have limited opportunity to do with cnet because of his low availability. Often times, we had to wait a week to hear back from him because we had missed the window during which he was available to discuss the translation.
To alleviate your fears, our new translator is of the same caliber as cnet so you won't have to worry about the translation quality (outside of a few hiccups here and there, because Japanese is hard). If you guys have any concerns about a certain line, please do bring it up and we can either get you an explanation on why a certain line was translated a certain way or a correction if it was a mistake.
It would be nice of Kaido attacks the ship that's transporting Doflamingo.
DD's better off roaming the new world, than spending time in prison.

Dat Last page! Epic Luffy is Epic! Stared and re-read it so many times with different OSTs from the anime that feature him and Fuji playing in the background. The Next 4 chapters should be fun.
I thought blue stars were for researchers and translators.
They work on One Pace, PowerManga, and the One Piece Digital Colored Comics project on Batoto… surely that deserves some sort of star, if not blue.

I think things will start getting teally interesting / intense from now on.
It would be rather inconsistent if he just went and said "i have done enough now to atone for my past", especially since he partly blamed himself for Scarlet´s death as well. He is supposed to be a larger-than-life character to underline Dressrosa´s theme of innocence, peace and pacifism. If you want, you can even draw a parallel between him giving in to his animalistic and destructive tendencies in the past, which he regrets, and the citizens of Dressrosa who were basically seduced by the devil (DD) and ultimately gave in to their animalistic and destructive tendencies as well. The latter was saved by Luffy, now Kyros needs to get his redemption through other people as well.
But that just means that the citizens of Dressrosa should also be able to understand what Kyros has been through better (as they went through something a little similar) and would be more likely to level with him in order to accept him and whatever he did in the past, as they aren't squeaky clean themselves. If common ground can be shared with Kyros, the neigh-sayers can then shut up about Rebecca's bloodline.

The citizens definitely won't care that Rebecca's blood isn't completely noble once they hear about Kyros's contributions, specifically that he was the leader of the resistance and the implied mastermind of Operation SOP. Perhaps they would be more judgemental of an ordinary citizen, but between his legacy as a gladiator, his reputation as a guard, and his dedication to his country even when they had forgotten him, they should be more than welcoming. Just let Gatz give a rousing speech listing his resumé and the people will fall into line.
Not that Kyros could ever see that happening. He's too busy moping around in his own guilt.

And that´s what we will see in the next or upcoming chapter, Luffy announcing Kyros´ identity, and people being shocked at first but ultimately accepting it
I kinda feel bad for the citizens. They are pretty much stuck with the most mopey leaders to look to for guidance. All so reluctant to take control because they made a mistake when a major villain had planned to over throw the country. Even then the errors made weren't really by their own hand.
Riku tried to do the right thing and it backfired. Kyros tried to help, got caught up in the mess. Er…Scarlet couldn't ignore her whiny child and went into the danger zone getting herself killed. Violet is probably the only one really fit to rule but at this point. I'm not sure if she's going to be a princess or advisor? I don't know if she's technically next in line or Rebecca.

Rebecca technically has priority as the daughter of the first born of the King. That's how Monarchy usually rolls.
Though she most likely will refuse the throne, thus leaving Viola as the only choice.

Don't worry about them. They would be as a happy under Hitler than under Gandhi. Just need to make a speech.

Yeah Violet probably will wind up next in line due to Rebecca declining. Not like she knows anything about being a leader anyways.

Maybe…But I still feel bad for them. Like they have no clue. They really were sheeple.

Hey that's what she said? ;)

When Rebecca's mom was declared dead Viola did become rightful heir. I It seemed to be an open secret that Rebecca was alive, though. At first I thought it was Monet's spying skills but the population have been calling her princess while she was a gladiator so it seems to be out there.
What seems important at the moment is however the Rikus (any of them) deal with the Navy. Fujitora said to Sabo, that they there's no way they'll be regarded as heroes in this, but attacking those who helped Dressrosa most while the country is still raw from the fighting takes them across the line to become the villains of the piece.
How the Riku family respond to this is what is going to mark the direction the country takes. Will they quietly take the intrusion and make plans to leave the World Government at a later date?
My guess is Rebecca will be moved enough to make a speech and win the love of her people. A tearful, tearful speech.
For the last time, PC isn't joining the crew.
There is a video game section, stop spamming.

Omg, somebody kill me.
Time for a crazy theory I got from this chapter. I think our adorable and naïve dwarves are up to something devious.
So we have Mansherry who the last few days have come to the Marines for a blood donation to make a healing medicine for the people. Seems innocent enough at first glance, Mansherry wants to help the people out, and the Marines there are of similar mind. She certainly doesn't want to take it from the injured citizens, as they are the ones that need to be healed. However, if you look deeper into it, I find things more suspicious.
First of all, the Tonattas have been keeping tabs on the Marines the whole time. Also notice after Fujitora states his procedure for when to go after the strawhats and offers Osturu to do the honors, that Mansherry shows up. We know from this arc that the dwarves move around quickly and where virtually invisible to the people. They were able to collect information on the Doflamingo people. It stands to reason that the Dwarves knew about Fujitora's procedure and knew they had to prepare for the time when he would make his move. This is where Mansherry comes in. She makes all the Marines take their guard down and just admire how adorable she is. Thus when she asks for donations for the good of the people, how could you not comply? For people who give blood donations, they usually need to eat some food, and are advised to not do much physical activity for a certain amount of time. So for these Marines who gave blood for consecutive days, or Sengoku who gave "10 people's worth", how tired would they be? So that might not be convincing enough reason, but what about this?
This is the third day since Doflamingo was taken down, that means enough time for people to have recovered. Sure, Luffy isn't 100% up, but he's recovered a good bit from everything he has done. Stands to reason that the citizens of Dressrosa would've recovered enough to not be in life threatening condition. Why make more medicine when the rest of the injuries will easily recover by themselves? I feel that this point to the ploy of the dwarves. Under the guise of helping the citizens and innocent Mansherry not raising any eyebrows, why not allow the citizens to recover faster after they went through hell. This allows for a number of days to drain the marines of their vitality, making them even weaker.
Then there's the whole idea of having to get past Fujitora, Otsuru, and Sengoku. One would've been feasible enough for others to distract, but with those three big names the ability for them to be physically held back is practically zero. Some speculate that Fujitora wouldn't go all out anyways because of recent events, but I disagree. We know Fujitora relies on his dice and gambling, but once his path is rolled, he follows it to the end. Add in the fact that if Fujitora wants to push his agenda, he needs to capture them at some point. Therefore, Fujitora means to go all out. Otsuru and Sengoku will also go all out, because even though Sengoku is more laid back, he is a Marine and will do what he must do. Factor in a huge hint of Law possibly confronting Sengoku, Law needs a way to be able to escape after his confrontation. All this points to the Marines needing to be at a disadvantage to even the playing field. The donation decreasing their vitality would be key to this.
So that's my reasoning for thinking this is a possibility. We'll know soon enough if this is true in the next chapter or two since we having the crew finally depart. While I feel it's somewhat valid, I will also admit I am really stretching it here so I don't really expect this to be the case. I just posted it on the off chance this crazy theory with the flimsiest of evidence could be true.
Hey Sengoku, where is your goat?
@The:
Time for a crazy theory I got from this chapter…
Most likely everyone in the island, but Tzuru and Sengoku, are helping Luffy or would helping him with easy. Even the die is "conspiring" here.
Viewing Doffly's face now, with or without glasses, would be priceless.
I love the new "Luffy isn't buying any of it" face. Rebecca's dream is to live with Kyros, not in the palace. Please Oda, don't mess with her one more time.

I actually think this isn't that much of a stretch. The only part I do take issue with is: "Why make more medicine when the rest of the injuries will easily recover by themselves?"
I do think that Mansherry is the type of person who would want them to be better ASAP. That doesn't mean that she isn't getting double work out of it: Healing the citizens and weakening the marines simultaneously. But, for the "Why" question, I do think that she - like many people would if they had her power - legitimately wants the citizens to not be suffering.
I just reread chapters 778 and 779. Knowing how powerful that makes Zoro, I guess I can accept the outcome of that fight.
But more interestingly, Bellamy calls Luffy the one other man he ever looked up to. How interesting. Makes me wonder if Bellamy is being set up to become a Strawhat.

It also might support Bellamy joining with Bart crew, making it more of a SH fanclub :P
Personally, I think he'll join Law, because I think Bart will Mr. 2 the end of the arc.
In nearly all stories I read I saw the fan or friend of main character will become villian I had bad feeling and I still have when I see barto
