Speaking of ES21, I wonder if if they plan on dubbing the anime any time soon. In fact, I'm curious to see all of Viz's upcoming new anime titles (hopefully none of them will be tied to 4kids, here's hoping)

You should ask about the biggest reason for the Zoro -> Zolo change, after they've used "Zoro" after about 50 or so chapters. If they say legal reasons, then ask for the specific reasons and why they didn't challenge it.

Well, if you're going to ask questions in the panel, then there is a limited amount of time, usually. It depends on how many other people want to ask questions. They won't usually call on the same person more than once unless they have an excess of time. But you can get better answers pulling someone aside after the panel and asking personally, if they're not in a rush to get out.

lol…that's awesome. I saw several other products with the Zolo trademark as well. I don't think it really matters all that much. Which makes the whole thing even more silly.

Well, Naruto was on last month's cover, and they seem to have quit using the same character on the cover twice or more in a row. Plus, it continues the Luffy/Naruto pattern we've seen all year(minus the DBZ issue).

In the mag. is a "name the char from this and that manga" which spells out " Gin Tama is Coming"! Ummm… the PS2 game, One Piece:Grand Adventure calls Luffy's bro- Portgaz D. Trace, who ate the same Gum Gum fruit, but it gave him fire (lol). Starting in Jan. 07, Yu-Gi-Oh! GX manga will start in the mag. Will put up more later as I read .

Pirates…..Line is on parchment with a skull wearing a pirate hat with the straw hat logo on it and money falling out of the skull's mouth. 2 swords that the place of the cross bones .

Sorry about that, I dont have the original one in frount of me so I dont know what is changed or not but….
the first chapter does not have a title page, just the logo slapped over the first panel.... Karoo, the ultra spotbill....a note about bushido being : the way of the samurai... ms. wend's attacks are enchanting vertigo dance and peacock slasher...Mr. 9 are hot blooded bat of guts and home-run hide-a-bat.....note about sapoten meaning catus in japanese....mr. 5 who ate the boom boom fruit and ms. valentine...wait, that did not come out right lol... mr. 5 attack is nez-palm cannon... called alabasta.....note on igaram=igarappoi.....chap. 111 is 3 color pages....

That's what I'm saying! We need specifics here, not some vauge puzzle answer. The GX thing isn't coming til January 07 apparently, so there's plenty of time for people to write in and say differently.

I was skimming through the new September issue of ASJ that I got today, and I noticed a name change. I don't know why, but I noticed that Mr. 5 called Vivi "Nefeltari Vivi," instead of "Nefertari Vivi." I guess it's no big deal to me. It's most likely to keep her name the same as in the dub.
Dang. I like Nefertari, but they'll be calling her Vivi for the most of the time, anyways. =)

It was posted on that ANN boards that Viz said at their AX panel that Gintama would be serialized in ASJ, but none of the news sites picked up on it. Is this true? I'm not sure.
As for "is the series good?", I think so, but I don't think the series' humor is for everyone.
I'm surprised 1. Naruto isn't on the cover and 2. little is said about the 100th Naruto chapter, but then again little was said about OP#100. On a quick side note, how many Shaman King chapters were there in last month's and this month's issue?
Yay for Gin Tama finally getting a release. Now all we need is for Bobobo to get simular treatment.
As for the changes, I'm used to saying Arabasta, but there isn't much of a difference. As for Vivi's name, I had to take a good look to see a differene, though I hope the change is the way they translated the name instead of kissing up to 4Kids, especally considering some of the names used like Smoker, Log Pose and Wiskey Peak. Time will tell.

I haven't read much of it, but I decided to quickly skim through, and it looks like Shaman King's had two chapters the past two months. Not sure how many it's had in the past. They acknowledged a fan's email about Bobobo, but we at least know they're not releasing the rest, at least right now. They mentioned "We promise that if we do more Bo-bobo, you'll get the news here first!" If anyone's curious about that "One Piece: Pirates of the Grand Line," logo thing, the last part's about twice as large as the OP logo itself, so I highly doubt it's ASJ's new name for their OP manga, and it's still shown as just "One Piece," all throughout the magazine. For a Naruto change, it looks like Neji's forehead swastiska has been changed into an X, and it looks just like the mark from the anime. They also showed the cover arts for Naruto Clash of Ninja 2 and Ninja Council 2. I like them. There's also an ad for OP Grand Adventure and a smaller one for Pirate's Carnival in the same ad. Now I've just gotta read the issue instead of skimming. ^^ And Roman, they called it the "Boom-Boom Fruit." Yeah…

I haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary. there has always been that One Piece vs. Naruto/Pirates vs. Ninjas stuff. I think we can all agree that it's better than them flipping between Yugi and…Yugi.
This month's jump looks chockfull of good shit! Reborn!, BLEACH anime news, Yahiko no Sakabato, Naruto 100, and of course One Piece and Grand Adventure info. I can't wait man!!!

Judging by the scan that got posted here, it looks like they're just riffing on the Pirates of the Caribbean movie that came out this month. Made me chuckle.

Parts in bold are for emphasis. I understand why they are using the name (shudders) Trace for now, since the manga isn't up to Alabasta yet, but how could they get Ace's Devil Fruit so horribly wrong?

I read this somewhere else too. Apparently according to 4k!ds ace- er trace ate the same devilfruit as luffy it just had different effects.
