Specifically, it'll be Issue 22-23 before Golden Week.

@Galaxy:
Specifically, it'll be Issue 22-23 before Golden Week.
Thank you.
Hm.. that means we gonna get an early spoiler issue right? Like 1 or 2 days early.. -
It looks like there going to be an important announcement for Soul Catcher(S) on upcoming Jump Next!! issue.

@Pierrot.:
Are these ranking similar to WSJ or just something else?
I believe it has same system as WSJ (since Young Jump is from same publisher), but more flexible than WSJ.
-
@Kaizou:

Ahh.
But what do you mean more flexible than WSJ? Is there a slight difference?
-
@Pierrot.:
But what do you mean more flexible than WSJ? Is there a slight difference?
It means that YJ doesn't massacre series as much as WSJ. For example, WSJ axe young series with good tank sale because its ranking is low. However, for YJ, it doesn't axe young series if it has good sale despite of low ranking. Plus, YJ waits more longer time period than WSJ (like it doesn't axe series within 20 chapters).
-
Oh I get it now.
Thanks for the explanation.
-
The 3 chapters of Black Clover in this issue of ESJ slightly changed my mind but I still find too many flaws to like it.

New Series: Devilyman (Winner of 9th Golden Future Cup)–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Okay, so it looks like four series going to be out for upcoming cancellation round.
-
Four new series!? Didn't think it would be that much this time. Wowzas.
-
Does it say who is the mangaka behind Naruto part 3 ? Kishi or someone else?
anyways…
Devilyman had an interesting concept so I'm excited about it being serialized, also Molester Man mangaka is in Jump now? Let's see what will he bring to the table
-

Obviously Kishi. Why the editors have to ask someone else to do Part 3?

Well, he did released one shot and mini-series in Jump 3-4 years ago.
-
Aww shit, it's YOKO.

@Kaizou:
Obviously Kishi. Why the editors have to ask someone else to do Part 3?
I heard a rumor that the new series will be written by one of his assistants
-
I heard a rumor that the new series will be written by one of his assistants
It is just stupid rumor.
-
YOKO series huh? I'll look forward to it, though I kind of feel like his style might not do that well in Jump, since it relies heavily on character development, which means it might not move fast enough early on
-

Not sure about that. Haikyuu!! also focused lots on character development, but it became success.

True, but Haikyuu is also a sports series, so it at least had that aspect down strong from the start. I guess it depends on what type of story it is. If it's a slice of life type story like he usually does, I think it'd be harder

Well, even it is sports manga, it focuses on more realistic sports (more of Magazine-style sports) than doing something like these:

I think it is more of story. The readers will going to follow series if the author able to keep the series interesting despite of slow story development.

Well it's not the character development which is a constraint but the fact that the mangaka has to catch the reader interest rapidly. But it is sure we won't have Onani Master 2 either.
So with 4 new entries, I guess that means Roggy will be cancelled in this round too.

What/who is Yoko?:wassat:
I guess YoKo is Yokota Takuma's alias. This mangaka is the one behind Onani Master, Moelester Man and some others. He seems to be quite loved.
He's kind of an acquired taste, though. I went through Onani Master once, and while addictive, it's definitely weird. And behind the veil of (thematic, visual and character wise) ¿grossness? (is that even a word?), I thought it wasn't THAT special.
-
Yeah. YOKO's the guy behind OMK, Molester Man, Koganeiro, etc. Well, Molester Man (don't let the title deter you because it's not what it sounds like. It's super super duper duper) is an adaption of a 2ch thread, but it's a damn damn good adaption of it.
I can see some people getting turned off by the premise of OMK, but the writing in there is still pretty strong. He's really great at developing characters, and in the case of MM, framing everything and pacing everything so that the character interactions feel incredibly natural.
-
I'm excited to see YOKO in Jump. It definitely doesn't seem like a perfect match, but I really appreciate his use of dialogue, paneling and perspective.
Someone mentioned he wrote a one shot for Jump a few years back. What was it?

It is about sports dancing.

Most likely Ageha, GH, and Roggy. Not sure about UBS.

Why they keep Isobe…?
the editors like it. It's placed at the bottom on purpose, like Jaguar.

Isobe is a short gag manga that the editors put it in the magazine last pages to end the issue on a happy note
It doesn't affect the ranking & its volumes sells ok
why would they cancel it?

It isn't good idea to compare normal series to short-page gag series.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Also, it is confirmed that Black Clover going to get two consecutive color pages. So, it'll have color in Issue 22/23 and 24.
-
Looks like Jump wants BC to stay around for a while. And given how the three newcomers look like BC will stay longer than plently previous series. I still see it as a Fairy Tale 2.0 though, not so much enjoyable for me to read.
-

Gag manga typically don't sell the same as straight titles. For a gag comic, Isobe sells fantastically (for points of comparison the other successful go-tos here are Kusuo Saiki and, of course, Kochikame)
EDIT: aw snap, YOKO! Love his work, and his last Jump series was great, despite being a weird mini-series that tried to sell people on the career of comics editor
