I was partially right then. Thought we could play as all bosses but just ganon is sweet

good lord raising the levels AGAIN? I can't keep up.
Still, more costumes and the ability to wreck everything with Ganon. Awesome.
You guys asked for the trident, there you go with giant boar and all.
I wonder what the costumes are? Gonna take a guess at classic versions of zelda & link (brown hair, red dress/brown sleeves)
The release date for the United States has been revealed as well.
@Galaxy:
The release date for the United States has been revealed as well.
Wow. So it's the cheapest of the DLC packs, and there's a specific release date, too.
I wonder if the Dark Link costume will be available for standalone buy.
Looks like Dragon Quest Heroes is coming to NA and Europe this year
PS4 only too apparently.
Is it really only PS4? Or is that just all they're emphasizing?
japanese release is PS3 AND PS4, I wouldn't be surprised if like OP Musou, they're just advertising one but its actually for both.
They would be dumb cutting out that market and considering how the recent samura warriors was on everything as well and next one piece game sure is also gonna hit every platform, you shouldn't worry.^^
Gief steam version.
Yesssssss. I was pretty worried it wouldn't come out here. But please don't only release on ps4 out here, I don't have that kind of money right now.
Hyrule warriors boss dlc is out for Europe. Gonna give it a try now
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Ganon is so good. He levels up as well and is treated like his own character
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
I've done the boss battle now and got a lot of gold dodongo crystals. Yes. Also found out you can't use potions for Ganon so material potion. Sad times
Anyone have any idea what the new costumes are based on? Especially link:
!

I think they are just recolors
Yeah, nothing more than different colors for existing costumes, meh.
Yeah but are the colours based on anything? Like a character from dynasty warriors or something?
Zelda's reminds me of what's-her-face(Hilda?) from Link Between Worlds
Zelda's reminds me of what's-her-face(Hilda?) from Link Between Worlds
There is already a Hilda costume for her I believe it comes from the Master Quest map
There is already a Hilda costume for her I believe it comes from the Master Quest map
Oh. I guess it's not referencing her then
I was thinking of a dark theme…..but that becomes redundant with Dark Link and incorrect with Lana and Cia's brighter colors.
There's a hidden character you can unlock in the new dlc!
It is in fact
! a gigantic cucco
Amazing.
More DLC footage:
Oh man, this Hey Listen is annoying. xD
Finally got the goron's tunic for link. Onward to the other maps now. Slowly doing the challenges but i'm stuck already. You need to be a high level for the boss one
Apparently hidden within the Ganon DLC is… this thing.
Well, it deserved to get in, they are in more games than everyone except the main trio.
It just made me think that any of the giant bosses could technically have made it into the game and be playable. Maybe Hyrule Warriors 2 DLC
I have the feeling that Nintendo won't allow Koei to pump one of these every year, and that's why they went all out with the DLC.
They are desperate for games on the system, why wouldn't they?
I don't think that they should release the same game every year, and other than mario party, I don't think that they have gone the way of "the same but with MORE CONTENT!" in the same console life cycle.
Hyrule warriors 2 is definitely in the works however i agree, I doubt Nintendo would release it so soon just out of fear of saturating the market and having people be bored of the game. They market stuff terribly but, at least in japan, they are very good at release schedules for games. I would say late2016/2017 for Hyrule warriors 2 and i only have 2016 there because it is Zelda's 30th anniversary and i expect some kind of game to be released for it (unless they focus on metroid instead but lol)
That akward moment when you think "Wait, metroid and zelda can't be 30, I was born the year of their releases and… FUUUUUU"
That's the thing with this DLC. All of the packs have provided more content and more fanservice to Zelda fans (with costume references and whatnot), but I imagine Koei would want to save some ideas for the possible sequel. I think it's a good time they're stopping (?) at this last pack, since oversaturation would come into play if by the time a teaser for the next game comes out, they're still updating this one.
This game focused mainly on 3 3D titles: Ocarina of Time, Twilight Princess, and Skyward Sword. But Majora's Mask got its day in the sun, the adventure maps are in the style of Zelda 1, and there's other references here and there.
Link to the Past, Oracles of Ages/Seasons, Wind Waker, Link Between Worlds….there's much more to be used, and that includes characters.
(although a Fire Emblem or Pokemon musou, I'd be on board for that)
Although I'm not surprised that it isn't…(yet), Fire Emblem Musou SHOULD be a thing. And by then, I hope Koei figures out how to implement flying units/enemies into the standard musou gameplay.
The thing is that a Fire Emblem musou shouldn't be an all star, as would get filled by interchangeable lords, but be an adventure on itself, and that's kinda close to what they do already.
Smash Musou is where my hopes and dreams are at. Or WSJ musou, but that's another thread.
Ehh I see FE Musou being more like how they handled Dragon Quest Musou by just hand picking characters here and there from various titles, since Musou games are just generally fan service anyway. So they probably would end up picking up characters here and there (then again, the Lords are generally the most noteworthy characters so that might be challenging but…eh)
And then if you fail a mission or don't help out your other generals in danger they die for good. The fire emblem way
Gotta batch of Warriors games
Samurai Warriors Chrionicles 3 for Vita and 3DS
http://gematsu.com/2014/08/samurai-warriors-chronicles-3-announced-ps-vita-3ds
Samurai Warriors 4 Empires
Samurai Warriors 4: Empires will add more strategic elements than ever, Koei claim, including a new "Resident Domestic Administrations" feature. There will also be a room where you can work on developments and issuing commands to the military commanders by configuring their placements, making it much easier than before.
The story of the game will advance as you take suggestions from military commanders, and depending on the affinity between the military commanders that have been placed in the battlefield, there will be different effects going on in the Resident Domestic Administrations.
Samurai Warriors 4: Empires' concept is is 'the ultimate land-conquering Musou,' but rather than being able to force your way through with powerful military commanders, it will be balanced in a way where you must carefully prepare everything through internal affairs before having the action take place.
The Vita version will cost 5800 yen. The PS3/4 versions will cost 6800 yen.
There will be over 100 generic female generals, among them ones based on Chacha (!!) and Matsu (!!!).You will be able to marry the generics.
I'll probably just get SW4E over SW4II
So Omega Force is going to be present at E3 and they have an unannounced title being revealed there.
Fingers crossed for DW9
I would prefer a new Orochi style game since that has everybody and then some, (and I like the team switch dynamic) or a new Gundam game. It's been 3 years since Reborn and that was on last gen consoles.
Or one based on some other franchise that isn't One Piece, Arslan, Zelda, or Dragon Quest.
Yeah I'm with Robby another Orochi (which I've never touched) or anime/established franchise inspired spin-off wouldn't hurt.
I know I wouldn't mind a Fire Emblem Musou for example.
My choices are WSJ musou or Fire Emblem musou.
Marvel Musou would be fun. With a focus on the MCU if possible.
The 5 Musou Games I want:Gundam (with playable Burning Gundam),One Punch Man,Fairy Tail,Gintama,Samurai Warriors 5
A Fire Emblem Musou would be cool, but to keep it in the spirit of strategy games more it'd be really cool if you could choose some of the other fighters accompanying you and then give them general orders from a pre- and mid-battle menu screen.
Other than that, an FMA Musou game would be great too, as would a Lord of the Rings.
Considering how little women are in Lord of the Rings, I doubt they would tackle it. but they did do gundam and fist of the north star…
