Pretty good chapter.
Señor Pink is easily the most memorable executive, and the only one except for Sugar that got a somewhat proper fight. Not to mention Franky used his fists, HIS FISTS. Not some stupid robot thingie, but his actual fists.
The backstory was a bit stereotypical (yet another dead mother/lover), but stood out enough to be memorable. Lucien has a very nice design, the landsslide / vegetative state is fresh and the point of view being from a villain for once, and his piratehood actually being a negative thing for once, I like that. Out of all the flashbacks this far, this was actually the one that had me closest to tears for some reason. Maybe because of its simplicity? Or seeing Señor care about something as simple as a smile, and throwing away his pride for that. Not the most beautiful woman in the world, or somebody he loved to endless depths, or a weak person who died due to being weak. They had a realistic argument, it ended badly, and he feels responsible. It wasn't the end of the world, or a country thrown into chaos, or a government coverup. It was a simple story of a family.
I still don't like how Señor acted occasionally, but he's certainly evolved into a very peculiar character.
Not to mention the art, especially the perspective during the super suplex.
Mansherry… I still don't know how to feel about. She could evolve into an incredibly annoying character, she could be a likeable one. Her powers can be executed well, they can end up being the mother of Hax. I'll wait that one out a bit.
Also, why are all the interesting women post-timeskip dead? First Otohime, then Monet, and now Lucien.
