Kubo just wouldn't feel right only producing half a chapter of white backgrounds where very little happens.

Drawing the universal level destruction caused by Soul King being stabbed to death by his own son really did a significant damage to Kubo's health. It must have a lot of backgrounds to work on :(

Yep, this chapter oozes with everything that is bleach. A complete waste of a chapter. Not even being able to entertain like naruto did or fairy tail does with it's stupidity, by being utterly soulless and boring, makes me not even want to read it for that enjoyment.

Well it was kinda nice to finally see some characters NOT Team Ichigo or Bach, but like others said, can we really expect everyone to pinch in and be relevant to the final victory? This ain't no Full Metal Alchemist.
Definitely a fillerish chapter.
Also Bach just stabbed the Soul King. Shall we get a predictable curb stomp or Bach getting more hax?

To be fair, Naruto's chapters pretty much always had reasonable pacing.
It just so happens that those well paced events were usually cliched, poorly delivered or just outright dumb.
Bleach has all these problems AND moves at a snail's pace.

Hey, I have two things I legitimately kind of care about in this weeks chapter! All of them involve the 11th squad.
One, Kenpachi is confirmed for being completely and utterly injured. Nice to know that about he killed another main character (who got no screen time and never did anything. Is main character the right word?) he comes back, fights some kid in a raincoat, only to get wrecked by four sternritter who amounted to nothing. Really, two of them are dead and the other two have been made irrelevant. Things like this are why this manga is being canceled. By the way, speaking of Sternritter, what happened to the ones in Soul Society? Considering that everyone is going to the Palace, I assume that they were all captured? That seems like an important detail.
Second, I really want to know what happened to Yachiru. Kenpachi suddenly get this premonition about her after winning his fight, and it hasn't been brought up again. Is she dead? Kidnapped? Was she a figment of his imagination the the whole time. Sadly, all of these are possible, but I'll never get the answer apparently. Should I care about the fate of the Soul King? Nah, I want to know what happened to the silly pink haired girl. Sadly, I'm serious.

Seriously? Naruto was frozen in time, YEARS in a neverending fight that just kept changing the antagonist over and over again. You can say anything about Naruto last years but saying its pace was not the most painful ever is… I don't even know what to call it. The pace was the worst thing in Naruto and that alone says a lot.
Not that Bleach's pace is good, but nothing looks bad in comparison to Naruto's pace since the fight against Obito started.

Good to know that Kubo has already set-up for the Captains to take care of Back's elite soldiers when Chad and Orihime inevitably fail. May as well dash our hopes early on.

Guys, we need to do a backwards day next week. Write everything you'd normally write about how awful Bleach is, and then make a good version of it, praising the hell out of Kubo and Bleach and post that instead. Imagine - a whole page or two of us saying Bleach is good, how surreal.

I also forgot something that shocked me when I read this chapter--just a little bit. I assumed that when that flame sternritter attacked the 5th division that all of them were burnt to pieces. Now the captain, I don't care about. But Momo is completely fine. This is amazing to me, because she's had plenty of chances to be stabbed, pummeled, or eviscerated this arc and yet NONE of them have even touched her.
Now she's heading to the soul palace. Is this going to be the first arc where she doesn't get mutilated? I'm going to watch carefully and find out!
So yeah, Momo and Yachiru. These are the things I'm looking forward to in Bleach.

I've straight up lost track of all the characters. It's pretty hard to care when it's a never-ending conga line of oneupsmanship where half the characters are introduced and promptly killed in two chapters.

Seriously. When he was saying squad names, I was like "uh, ok. Who are the captains and vice captains of those again?"
Had to lol at the fact they pulled people even if they were in mid-fight. I'm pretty sure all the Sternritter are dead, so it shouldn't be a problem. I also wonder if we'll get a 4th wall joke from Aizen, where he made the readers think Monk guy said they can't beat Bach. We'll see his demise, and when we call bullshit, he pops up saying "when were you under the impression they couldn't win?". The more obvious one is going to be that if the Soul King saw his demise and couldn't stop it, the Juhabach can't stop it either.
Also, the Manga should've ended this chapter, since killing the Soul King apparently causes all the worlds to go boom.

As much crap as I give Kubo, I'm pretty sure he would give the various fights at least a complete wrap-up, not the whole "oh noes, Bach is eating us up". I mean there were a number of Sternritter that didn't even get to show off their abilities. Then again, Kubo might've not had any ideas, and decided that it was too many characters, while also making a new character (yoroichi's brother).
That could actually happen. I'm going to have nightmares now.
No worries though, since any Bleach dreams will end well before anything interesting happens.
