@Darth:
Wait, wasn't that guy watching King Riku fight? I thought it was a reference to Riku fighting in coloseum once…
you may be right of who's was in the arena when it was said, but the old guy was certainly talking about Kyros as he couldn't remember the name. Riku was not turned into a toy so therefore, people were able to remember his name.
IF it was a case of senility, the old man simply forgot who it was, Oda wouldn't have shown the old guy at all.
@sabinis:
Well Kyros killed a man at young age and one might say its kind of karma that gotten back at him for taking eye for an eye killing man that killed his friend. Now he wants to kill Diamante and I would like to avoid that with Diamante getting some nasty fate like being turned into toy. Forgetting person that killed his wife would also be better than remembering him I think.. Cant wait to see what Oda decides to do with Diamante
Not really, because then there is no closure. He would always wonder WHO it was who killed his wife. Was the murderer still out there, able to kill other citizens, maybe even Rebecca?
It wasn't a parent or sibling, but I've had family been attacked and brutally murdered. It was my cousin, She was killed, one of her daugthers was raped and another kidnapped by the perp. Trust me, the family feels better, safer, knowing who commited the crime. As its knowing the identity we can learn if he was caught and paid (prision often) for the crimes.
Not knowing who did the deed… that in itself is a hellish limbo
