There's still many questions: In the end, who's the first Corazon?
Vergo was said to be first Corazon

Ah, okay. I forgot about that.
So glad Doffy killed Rosinate that guy was get on my nervous. I expect am in the very tiny minority, here that didn't like Rosinate. Seeing Drake in this chapter was the highlight for me. Really looking forward to seeing him in the future.
@Kyoji:
Cora-san is alive, he just heard the cannons and ended his spell to get some rest and be fine… please... he is with the Revolutionary Army, right Oda? Sengoku saved him again, isn't true Odacchi? He didn't die, right? Please, Cora-san, stay with us, pleeeeeeeease....
I know it hurts. Be strong, man, be strong.
It's interesting that eventhough dofla did kill Rocinante he complained about having to kill another family member again. It's also interesting that now that I think about it, his plan basically failed because he relied too much on a family member (Sugar).
/chapter.
The rest was alright. Too rushed for my taste, but I guess Oda needs to get things going (considering that we are already at the sixth fb chapter)
The flashback could finish here and it would be fine but I would think it'd lack some kind of building. In this moment, there is no reason for DD to expect that Law would come back to him.
My guess is we'll have one more flashback chapter in that Law would come back to him, pretending to be on his side and ignorant of Corazon's doings, he would spend some years more with him, earning his trust and after DD tells him, "the weak cannot even choose how they die", he would go to get stronger without DD worrying bout him. Until now.

Regarding Doflamingo's threat to Law, yes Doflamingo, Vergo is dead "hopefully". You however, might get lucky as Luffy is not into killing villains.
So question, how do people expect Law to get off the island safely? Remember the island that just had everyone slaughtered on it? The island that all available boats (that we know of) leaving in a chase?
Maybe he tries to go with the marines and Vergo catches him? Have we seen Vergo lately?

What? Because he "betrayed" his evil brother (even though Doula betrayed him first by killing their father)?

Use Diez Barrels' ship.
Or simply stay. There's a nice mansion in that hill. It's not like he has anywhere else to go.

Law hasn't seen DD for the past 10 years and those 10 years started now since that last chapter was 10 years ago ago

Not sure what you want to say with that?

We saw Vergo last chapter and this chapter (Young Vergo) and he doesn't have to escape right now. how come nobody has mentioned the fact that this is a snow Island and Bepo is a polar bear which mean that…
Law doesn't really have any reason to leave Minion.

If you think a little, you notice that Law and Rosinante got to the island by a little boat! So …
Kind of paradoxical that Roci's power could mute Law even for the "haki" users so they couldn't "hear his voice". Pretty cool to see a fruit ability surpass the overpowered haki of observation.
Not sure what you want to say with that?
Your first sentence regarding Doflamingo killing his brother reminded me of that page. It's kind of ironic that Doflamingo threatened Law with death over hurting Rocinante but ended up killing Rocinante over protecting Law.

Yeah that's sort of a interesting parallel. Also, he took no pleasure out of killing Corazon. He was pretty serious and straight up said he didn't want to do it, he wasn't a grinning villain during killing him. Just really want to know we're supposed to see doflamingo as by the end of this. What's the final big picture?

Hmmm, isn't the fashback 13 years ago? As far as I know, it started 16 years ago and around ~3 years have passed.
Does anyone really like Homing?
Also kid Vergo looks like a little scamp.
She can change the weather to sunny at will?
Her dust beater literally spanks the strength out of the opponents?
Being subjected to her powers have side effect of being soft, comfy, and smelling fresh?
You mess with the crane, you get the mixed load cycle.
Don't mind me doubling over on the floor holding my sides. Any more of wolfwood's and Aohige's discussion of Tsuru's powers will destroy them.
(Definately saving it to my hard drive. Stuff like this should be remembered forever.)
Anyone else think that the last page where Rocinante is partially covered by snow is meant to also allude to Law's white amber disease? Like he sacrificed himself and took Law's place or he took all of Law's suffering onto himself or something like that.

yeah I liked him, he gave me a little hope that not all the WN are carbon copy of each other. Overall he was a good guy with a manly moustache.

You're right, we still missing three more years.

Vergo is coa user and Doffy is coc and coa user..no coo in donquixote pirates..thats it at the moment
You're right, we still missing three more years.
I don't believe we're specifically told when Law leaves the family. It's somewhere between 13 years ago (obviously) and 10, when the Donquixote family takes Dressrosa.
Though I definitely believe we'll see Law interact with the family more. Too many loose threads.

Why shouldn't they be able to use Observation too? Oh right, because nobody said it yet.
They probably aren't or weren't that good at the time.

He actually said "after not writing for 10 years", which implies there wasn't physical contact? I guess? Unless it's not an entirely literal translation, of course.
I just watched Sawyer's review and he said something interesting, what If Bepo is not a minkmen but a human trapped in a bears body!! Lsw definitely has the ability to do this and it will be cool If Bebo turns out to be a kid from the White City and not just a minkmen that Law met.

Yes, it seems like they had some sort of contact after the incident in this case writing, that will explained why Dofla kept the seat for so long.

It seems like Law was writing letters and may be that's what kept Dofla away from Law and the fruit since Law might have promised to come back someday

It was probably a methaphor of how Law left him 10 years ago without trace. I can't really see them writing postcards to each other.
i hope drake shows up at the end of this arc and mercs doflamingo's entire crew in front of him

But Oda has only covered 3 years and we saw how Dofla got after learning that Law ate the fruit, so this might be the only reason as to why Dofla didn't pursue Law any longer
Jokes aside I just checked Mangapanda and Mangastream versions and they both say they haven't seen each other for ten years.

I understand. I just find it so dark that he killed his brother. Why not take him back as a prisoner? isn't he the "Dear Brother"? might even use him as a bargaining chip in future negotiations with the navy. However, Doflamingo killed his father in the past, which brings me to the conclusion that Doflamingo is a lonely man in a way because all the care he shows to his "family" and inner circle will disappear in a blink if they lose his trust. He is not capable of understanding their reasons or their motives as he demands absolute loyalty or else they are dead to him. That's understandable if it was fully mutual but as of now, Vergo and Monet died for him and I don't see him as the type that would do the same to them. Even seeing the sufferings of little Law and how they both had similar experiences and after Law spent two years with the family, he still decides to sacrifice Law's life for his own goals. Each member of his family is just that, means to an end, as the reason for the rock, bishop and knight is to die for their king no matter how much more valuable they are than a mere pawn (Bellamy). Doflamingo understands this well and understands that finishing the game with more pieces is favorable yet not necessary as long as he gets to win said game. To put it bluntly, Doflamingo builds circles around himself which he assigns people to, the further circles contains people like Bellamy, closer circles are filled with the "family" and his inner circle are the top officers who know his true nature (remember when Buffalo said he was tortured for laughing at Pica, there's a clear hierarchy in Doflamingo's mind and it's not strictly power based, more of loyalty based). In the middle of all that is the lonely Doflamingo who only cares about himself and nothing else. His "family" is there only to give him a sense of enclosure, a thing he lost as a kid due to his own mistakes partially. As long as they fill this empty hole in his heart and are unquestionably loyal to him, he will continue to "care" for them. The connections he makes with these people are not on an individual level, he is merely connected to their roles, to the idea that he has a family, a loyal one. In the style of a true Don Quixote, Doflamingo is living this grand delusion and his "family" is enabling him to do so. That's Doflamingo for you, strong, charismatic, has connections, is Joker, government dog, king, yet can't have one normal caring relationship with anyone in the world. The fear of betrayal will forever haunt his soul and for some reason I don't think he will ever overcome it.

Then maybe the keyword here is "over a decade"? Maybe it was a way of not saying "13 years ago" (maybe Oda didn't have the full time-line entirely made up during chapter 713?), and actually "over a decade/over 10 years" has a nicer ring to it?
I don't know. After what happened during this chapter, after Roci's sacrifice, Law knowing that if Doffy's catches up to him he'll basically train him to "die for him". . .I just don't see Law falling into Dofla's hands again, and needing to escape. . .again.

It would completely downplay Rosinante's last efforts.
What loose threads?
A few pages ago, the fact that vergo's haki can block the devil fruit, the line of "weak can't pick when they die", the weird hope that Law would come back, the "it's a pitty" that Doffy sent law through Vergo.
If we got the whole "lead bullets, you bastard" thing, then these threads must be dealt with as well.
at least cora was able to smoke the last cigarette without setting himself on fire.
Wouldn`t it be way to heavy otherwise?
Its great that he died with a smile on his face…

Bepo is into female bears so I doubt it.

Well CCC script was the same for this line. Exactly 10 years.
DD: “Fuffuffuffu!!! Is that any way to talk to your old boss after not writing for ten years!?”
“Hand him over!!! Caesar is my precious underling!!”Maybe they kept in touch by phone and told Doffly he would meet him at Dressrosa.
i'm curious about X-Drake Marine Trainer !!!!!!
who's ??? Tsuru maybe !
Really fantastic Chapter with many many great Pictures.
I have the feeling that Trebol isnt that kind of Guy who we have got to know, since his first appearance. In the first Page he gave Dofla some kind of "Power". Was it his String Fruit? Could Trebol be a member of Kaidous Crew and hes just with Dofla to have control over his actions? I think that would be great and there would be a big possibilty, that Trebol is a lot stronger.
As of this chapter it is basically confirmed once and for all that Dorry and Drake are one and the same.

I'm like 99.9% sure the "power" was the gun. I don't think trebol's going to get any more big revelations involving him.
X Drake in Law's flashback is not just random. I think Oda prepares the trio that will take down Kaidou from now.
So, is there a break next week or what? No mention at the end of the chapter.
Would it be too hax if law did the permanent life operation on Luffy? maybe the lead bullets are going to kill him anyway, why would they mention they're lead bullets if theres no importance?

law is not doing anything to Luffy. Luffy and the Strawhats health are Choppers responsibility only and no one else's.
i really didnt expect trebol to be more important than sugars bodygaurd.did dorry t rex out of the birdcage? lol this was one chapter that made marines look good. tsuru kinda saved law with that blast to drown out his cries. this flashback has done wonders for law, dd and cora.love the standoff between dd and roci. how come roci didnt shoot first?
Maybe Trébols line was about giving control over his gang of outlaws.

After Doffy gets ass whopping from Luffy we will see Trebol stand up and say to Doffy- "Doffy, you're pathetic, I thought you were the chosen one but I guess not" Trebol flies off from Dressrosa with his snot still there.
