@Thebomer93:
For all thoes years Sabo was alive. You would have thought we would have let Luffy and Ace know we was alive and well. I can't really think of a reason why he would let them think he was dead. It not as if he was infamous or a criminal, so letting them know he's alive wouldn't really put him or them in any danger. When you stop and think about it Sabo is a massive massive bastard and a horrible brother. But am sure we find out soon the reason why he couldn't but it bet be a good one is all i've got to say.
Well for one, thing, Sabo did not know that Ace & Luffy thought he was dead, he sent a letter to them before he left. But its not clear when he wrote it, was it before or after the Grey Terminal was burned.
Remember that Sabo went back home because his father had hired Bluejam to find the kids, kill Ace & Luffy and return sabo. To make sure they were not killed, Sabo returned home, and Bluejam kept Ace & Luffy, forcibly recruiting them into his crew.
Sabo knew that they were with Bluejam, who was in the Grey Terminal when it was going to be burned. Therefore, Sabo had every reason to think they were in the fire as well.
But then there's that letter….
Did Sabo know that they survived and he wrote it the night before he left? Od did he write it before and sent it out the same night the fire happened?
I'm not sure which way happened.
But even if Sabo knew they were alive then he couldn't really contact them much now could he?
After all look at Ace he didn't contact Luffy before and only reason he was in same area was he was looking for Blackbeard. Ace even said it, that if it wasn't for his search, he wouldn't have been able to contact Luffy then.
