so, what does "season pass" mean in this case? is it just a package deal, or is it a thing you'd need to renew in order to keep using every "season"?

ah, but you pay up front and then automatically get the dlc as they release, is that it? So I would buy it, intending that I'd actually want every subsequent dlc pack.
We'll see how much I enjoy the game when my hands on it, I might end up taking them up on that.

Loving Hyrule Warriors but I love all the Warriors games so its natural but damn the animations are really nice, loving the attacks, im still on the third scenario.

30th September I japan. As it's a patch I assume worldwide as well. Just unlocked te split pathway, will probably try death mountain when I get home. Enjoying link the most so far

for her starter harp i've only seen water, lightning and dark but i havn't used the typhoon harp yet so maybe that uses more?

Those are the 3 characters from the free update japan gets next week. (CIA, Volga and wizzro). The other new characters are all in the paid dlc. The first gets no new characters and neither does the last. The 2nd gets one (probably from twilight) and the 3rd gets 2 (probably from majora)

It was actually pretty fun, but only the initial main story. Them expecting you to play through basically the same sub-version of the game like 18 times to do all the little stories, and locking away the option to even choose the main one again until you did, was pretty bullshitty.

With Battlefront 3 coming out one wonders why would anyone bother with that.
I've often wondered about that myself; seems like being supported by people who only want you there so the world can end in fire (with you going to Hell in the process) would be somewhat off-putting

Oftentimes some characters are reeeeally buried.

Oh man oh man…...took a break, but I beat the first two levels of the story. General thoughts:
! -This game is BEAUTIFUL
-Such awesome music
-Link and Impa both play pretty well!
-This is my first Musou-related title, and it sure gets chaotic with all the enemies on screen! But it's so satisfying to slay a Poe or a Lizardros…..collecting treasure is fun too!
-Sheik is a little harder to use, given how open she gets with the harp....but I can dig it.
-THE MUSIC
-Tried a little bit of Adventure Mode...really like the blending of 8 bit and 3D-ness, although I didn't beat the first stage lol
-Good ol' Proxi, giving us a dose of Navi's "Hey! Listen!"
-Items are a blast to use. No pun intended, considering bombs are the first ones you get
-Getting the hang of the combo moves
-I love how you can change the music before doing a level! I ended up playing through the Caves with the cheerful Bazaar music.
-Dat DLC thoSo yeah, awesome stuff so far. I'd play more, but I promised my brother I wouldn't go too far in the story without him. Definitely want to try out multiplayer, even if it's local only.

I was the first one into Gamestop this morning and only one other person was buying the game…....makes me wonder if Smash will be a lot busier.

You haven't beaten it until you've leveled up a whole mes of characters to hgihest level, with best weapons, gotten all the items, and are regularly taking on xtreme hard mode.

Ok so I have not 'beaten' it. Just the story. Although once I get zant I will have everyone and will have done enough that I won't feel like I have to balance it and smash and can focus on the latter

Completed the main game and a sizeable chunk of adventure mode. Will probably stop now to concentrate on Fantasy Life, but I'll come back when the october dlc hits.

I think we all want to go through Sherman's March to the Sea musou-style.
I've been saying for years that I'd like a Sengoku Basara-esque take on the American Civil War. Problem is, even if the game let you choose your side, there would probably be a lot of people offended. maybe that's why it seems like no one wants to do a Civil War game, unless it's tactics/rts. And even then, they aren't that common.
Of course the real reason this will never happen is because japan could care fuck all for American history, ditto with the rest of the world.
I just want to play as Stonewall Jackson and have an actual literal stone wall that I can use to crush people or push them around like a bulldozer.

Cleared the Deku Tree stage! Sheik is turning out to be amazing, now to see how Lana fares.

Just cleared the game. The final stage was amazing! Working on getting everyone's lvl 3 weapons and other weapons.

Lana is amazing, but now I've reached my first spike in difficulty: the stage with Sheik and Impa at Death Mountain. Boulders, bombchus, and freaking Darunia….it's a doozy. Better level up some more. (I did a little more in Adventure Mode)
Another thing.....no Zelda character is Sonic the Hedgehog. I can't focus on one objective then suddenly go bail out a keep or a captain. Game really teaches you priority.

I haven' had any real challenge in Legend mode yet, but Adventure mode? Oh jeez. I spent maybe an hour and a half doing one mission over and over. I had to be Ruto to get a heart piece and every hit was "devastating" so if you got hit even once you couldn't get an A rank.

The devastating hit ones are a breeze. Equip the arrow. Run, target while running, shoot and dodge and continue running. Repeat. Never been hit.

By comparison, Skyloft and Twilight Field weren't too bad for me. So….yeah, got Fi and Midna now, eager to try out both. I assume Death Mountain gets you Darunia?

Odd, because I got the game as a gift on the 10th and the pack showed up on my to-do list pretty much instantly after registering it. Maybe wait for a bit and see if it shows up? If not, then definitely shoot Nintendo an e-mail, because that promotion doesn't end until next month.

Why wait for email. When I clicked on it, the webpage showed the code and i just used it then. Got the email sometime later with same code. But doesn't it show you the code when you accept the thing right away?
