I think it's more likely to be Observation haki. I'm always keeping in mind that Haki really hasn't been elaborated on all that greatly, and Luffy has only managed to learn the basics from what Rayleigh said.

It's possible that Haki develops generically and/or uniquely in individuals, which makes a lot of sense for it being a supportive type of ability rather than a main ability. Usopp perceiving the aura of individuals is perfect for his sniping role.

We still need some explanation on Sanji the Human Torch's abilities and Zoro's Asura.

I don't really see Trebol being on Luffy or Law's level. He could just get job really fast to hype one of them up. At most, he'll keep Luffy busy for a little while as Law jobs to Doflamingo.

It's observation haki. Mantra as CoO was called in Skypiea was how Eneru was able to detect where everyone on the island was.

trebol has me really intrigued. now that all of Sugar's toys are gone, there's no way Gladius vs. Cavendish, Barto and Robin is going to be a legitimate fight. Trebol was right in front of Cavendish' eyes when he was being turned into a toy. There's more buildup for a fight there than the zero screentime Law and Trebol have had together. I have no idea why Trebol is there. Surely he isn't just going to job to Luffy and Law.

one more point: what exactly is the point of Bellamy in this arc? I mean I know Oda likes to redeem characters and he's had some nice moments for sure, but it really feels like for his extended absence from the story and general mystery regarding his importance he's been pretty irrelevant.

Trebol is just in the way for Law and Luffy's fight with Doflamingo. There's really no reason he's there aside from stopping Law and Luffy double teaming Doflamingo. He's basically just a filler fight until Law gets defeated. With Law's history with Doflamingo, I don't really see Law agreeing to fight Trebol only while Luffy fights Doflamingo.

I guess Oda can go with the gag of Law and Luffy trying to fight Doflamingo while arguing and Trebol just randomly keeps getting in their way.

I don't really see why Law's ability couldn't cut through him. And even if he did end up sticking to Luffy's fist, a COA Bazooka would still hurt like hell.

In any case, Law made pretty short work of Vergo, who is most likely about as strong as Trebol. Unless Oda wants to pull some lame stint about how Law has been weakened enough already to make Trebol an actually formidable opponent, I don't think he'll be fighting either of our two heroes. Not to mention after all this buildup with Law and Doflamingo, Law is just going to fight this sticky guy who he hasn't even had onscreen dialogue with yet? Come on…

I suspect lead bullets would take a really long time to actually poison the victim (and I don't think it's been more than a couple hours since Law got shot).

My predictions:

Doflamingo used lead instead of seastone just to toy with Law even further.
Doflamingo killed Corazon with lead bullets

Law had his two chances against Doflamingo and he failed, so Oda will give him another chance just so law will fail again? Now this doesn't make sense to me. Again, Law is weakened.

The most popular rank is the one used in bridge though, as it is the same rank that represents medieval social classes that originated the suits (clubs = peasantry, spades = nobility, etc.).

Vergo still got one shotted though as soon as Law fought him with his heart. Law's whole Gear speech was saying the new generation is alot stronger than you think and they're going to destroy everything you built. Oda was showing that Vergo wasn't anywhere near Law's level since not only did he one shot him, he destroyed the factory/mountain as well.

Took me a little while to notice it, but I liked that extra detail in which that face Kanjuro made permanently embedded itself on a nearby wall as a drawing ensuring that if Sugar happened to wake up, she'd look at it and be traumatized yet again.

Also curious on how Trebol's ability will affect Law and Luffy. Lots of potential there.

as someone pointed out it could also be that law was angry because doflamingo wasn't taken him seriously by using regular bullets instead of seastone

My guess is that it has something to do with Law's backstory with Doflamingo. Law treats it more like DD was flipping him off than poisoning him.

Also, if Law was able to remove the "candy" from the kids at PH after they already ate it, then I assume he could do the same with lead on himself.

The point is Oda didn't show him being a badass just so that he can job to Luffy/Law/(Cavendish?) instantly. When we first saw Diamante's power it was meh, Pica's was cool, but Trebol's was holy shit he just threw a ship/hit a fly between the eyes. Those plus the fact that he's with Doffy tells me he'll probably be the executive to put up the most fight. Law cuts him? He can stick himself back together. Luffy punches him, he can capture him. All I'm saying is, he's not there just to get in the way.

There is literaly not one canon appearance of Seastone bullets.
