except Doffy ought to know that Law could take out Monet and Caesar Clown with no trouble at all. If Law wanted to get his heart back and fuck up everyone on the island, he could do it very easily, especially with his ability. Doflamingo ought to expect that level of strength from a Shichibukai.

I know Doffy thought the better of Law before he betrayed him but wouldn't he think it a little weird that out of all the things Law could be doing he decided to go to the island where Doflamingo's very important business was stationed? the lab and crazy doctor that if destroyed could cause Doffy some serious setbacks and perhaps trouble with Kaidou? that never seemed worthy of a bit of a chat to Doffy?

Did Doflamingo know Law was on Punk Hazard for 6 months?
It seems that the first time they had talked in 12 years was when Law was confronting Vergo. Why did Doffy not talk with Law before this if he knew he was on the island? Did he not see Law as even a slight liability? And if he didn't know he was there, why didn't Monet tell him? Did she not think it interesting that a Shichibukai had recently partnered with them?

Well you could even stop driving when she starts talking if the music does not work because you're allowed to for example you can get into trouble when passengers don't wear seat belts in most areas if you're driving because you're expected not to drive until they wear it. (you will normally only have to worry about if pulled over for something else and the cop is trying to get more

You could even go to the extreme to get her out of your car by stopping on train tracks and tell her you will not move until she shuts up or gets out.

I disagree. It's interesting that Trebol was Doffy's mentor, in a sense, but I don't think this guarantees anything. Even in the flashback he came off as abrasive and cartoonish; there was nothing particularly calculating or suspect about his behaviour. They just seemed like a bunch of slumkids. And given the fact that he's spent the rest of his screentime being a dumbass, it would seem very Kubo-esque to suddenly reveal that he is some plotting mastermind or something.

It's really just preference for me. I don't think teaming up both Barto and Cavendish against Gladius is by any means an interesting or fair fight, and Trebol's free… so... (Barto would work too I guess, but at least Cavendish and Trebol have met each other).

the brazen question mark emerging from his stupid mug during the Will of D conversation is evidence enough that Trebol will never be anything important

I don't really know why Oda found it necessary to have him up there though. it would have made a lot more sense for him to go fight Cavendish or something (which I still think is going to happen, so his continued presence up on the top floor is just irritating)

this chapter was unnerving
i'm fine with a recap, because historically it's totally Oda's style, but what has me really worried is the fights.
I'm putting an arbitrary and totally inconsequential deadline upon Oda to have the 1v1 chapters totally ready to go by the time 2015 rolls around

what was really disappointing was the situation with Gladius. I already thought Robin, Cavendish and Barto were way too much for him, so I figured Cavendish would eventually go fight Trebol, but of all people to leave… Robin?? I'm speechless. Cavendish and Barto are just way too much for Gladius, so I figure one of them is going to leave sooner or later, which sort of sucks because I'm at the point where I think these fights should be solidified.

also really worried about the stuff with Dellinger and his crew. I just can't see Oda spending 4+ chapters on their 1 on 1 fights, which is extremely fucking disappointing because these characters totally deserve the spotlight and it's going to blow if they all get shafted by each having 1/2 chapters dedicated to their loss. and this brings me to another fear that these might not even be their final matchups (more buildup.. yikes), or that they might be simultaneously KO'd by some shitty combo attack between King Punch, Chinjao headbutting shit, etc.
