Well nice chapter… But one question. What key is it DoFla is playing with? Did I miss something
"It actualy became a shortcut" made me smile.
And it's confirmed: Dofla didn't plan to pay the money to those who help him for even one second.
Thank you for the Link - Sad about the break but oh well.
interesting even his clone can use the haki to KO Ucy….
Shame no chapter next week, though really lookin forward to this flashback...
calling it now, frank will defeat senor pink with a new version of coup de boo!
Law was such a crazy kid.
Was that guy at the end Cora or Dofla?

Haki??? Wasn't that bullet thread?
The attack even had a name. So, no Haki…
Dofla used to be a punk after all
The question I have: Why did the upper half of Clone dissolve?
Fantastic chapter I must say!
I'll say more about it later after I read it a couple more times.
Law's flashback is gonna be sick.
I'm also wondering, is Rebecca wearing anything under the armor?
Haven't finished reading it yet but fudging string clone really. AGAIN. I never wanted to see that awful thing again. Made me so angry I had to write a post on the internet telling people how angry it made me.
Holy cow bby Law I- I-
Interesting chapter. Expected a little bit more with the flashback but it'll probably satisfy me next chapter. Really curious about where Law came from. He looks like he went thru a troublesome and traumatic childhood. I like how Doffy is reminiscing of Law, he really cared for him. Like DD was Law's Shanks. And I knew that Kelly betrayed them seemed too good to be true. Wonder what Cabbage plans is thou. Getting tired of the same suplexes over and over. Damn, looks like DD is going to be a challenge for Luffy! Although it could be that he's maybe distracted by the safety of who he's with.
nice chapter . very sad breaj again break again… but it't ok for oda healthty
for all the crazy things dd clones can do, the one i understand the less is the ability to speak

maybe he could manipulate its vocal cords you never know. It's a stretch but still…
Nope, this is not okay.
Hmm it was a nice enough chapter. Had flying Rebecca, Jeet and Abdullah doing something.
Wonder what plan Cavendish has.
Chinjao going alone… Can't end well.

Vocal cords are after all somesort of string… Think of a piano or a violin.
Btw, why is the name of the chapter "palm"? What does it mean?
I have a theory to Dolfa's ability when it relates to his Observation Haki. If you know in cartoons and in practical uses, a string attached to two cans can be used for communication like a phone in a way. This is what makes me believe that Dolfa can talk and listen through his clones, and how his observation Haki spans the entire island (What we saw when CP-0 arrived). I think that's the only exaplanation possible at this moment.
I also believe that Dofla might be able to turn himself into string like he did with his clone in this chapter, and right before Bird Cage appeared. This is the reason why I think Doffy's fruit might be a Logia even. Correct if I am wrong though?
Abdullah and Jeet are some fun heroic outlaws :)

I'm sure it's going to be a pun on the tin-can string phone.
You know, two cans (tin, paper, it doesn't matter) attached to a string and communicates.
No, physically a non-tense string should not work like that, but hey, it's the motherfreakin string Devil Fruit.
BTW Bartolomeo's face was priceless once again LOL

Never actually paid attention to that until you mentioned it. I see no connection at all. Maybe wait till a better translation I guess. And I don't get that " blank city " Law speaks of…
Luffy is such ab idiot, can he really beat DD? I'm starting to worry :S

It's not a translation issue FFS.
Ever heard "palm of my hands"?
It references manipulative individual who controls the events of others.
You know, like… Doflamingo?
It's used in western languages although it's primary an asian thing, likely originates from the Buddha's palm sayings.
Haki??? Wasn't that bullet thread?
oh maybe not then….given how ucy reacted, it looked like he KO'ed it with haki....

Luffy was in the water, you know the same thing that weakens every devil fruit user.
There has been like 10+ chapters spent with Luffy running around like crazy shouting Doflamingo come out Imma kick your ass.. and the moment he meets him he's like oh fuck it let' chill here a bit longer! Come on.. this ain't funny anymore. It could have been much much much enjoying if the flashback started last chapter, as though nothing really happened only panels were wasted. Need my old one piece back :(

Can't really speculate about that right know. Doubt it's a Logia. It could be possible for him to turn to string but still be a Paramecia. Mind the key word being COULD. maybe he could just create strings or maybe he can become string. Just have to wait till he explains it more
And why is Franky getting abused by the same move over and over whenever we see him. I want to see him being awesome, like he was vs. Buffalo and Baby 5 :)
Okay, so the flashback's delayed until week after next but… I DON'T CARE. That was great!
Ucy in trouble!
Abdullah & Jeet save the day!
Shortcut!
Every expression on Barto! That guy just loves everything he doesand it's infectious.
...everything else is a teaser for later on so it is what it is. Fun chapter.
Interesting that Dofla can imbue haki throughout his string-clone. I guess being string it's one unbroken line back to him? Or independent segments like worm-code.

yeah, i thought that too, but i still see it to be difficult to match the exact voice. anyway it's just a random thought, it's that this clones thing is the worst part of the arc at least for me.

take a better look, there's no haki involved
edit:
!
Sabo isn't havini' it easy with Blinditora by the way.
Another Luffy's brother is gonna die facing an admiral:ninja:
The whole getting to the 4th level of Sunflower Field is going to have sooo much filler when animated! Now with the law flashback put right in the middle of it, none of the actual fights having been finished and Dofla vs. Luffy not even started, as well as the conclusion of the whole thing missing, this arc will be really, really long. Loving it!
I want to see how they're going to open the factory doors, probably with the help of some crazy bugs, too. Good chapter overall, but after the flashback I really want the focus to shift to one of the ongoing fights instead of the group slowly advancing and trashing Dofla's no name underlings, just for the feeling of progression.

Like I know you like the palm of my hand type reference? If it's like that, then I accept it because it ended with DD thinking about how he met Law and obciously knows him like the palm of his hands.

No, no.
Completely different.
It means whatever you do, you're like dancing on the palm of someone else's hands.
Like the fate of Son Goku is insignificant on the palm of the great Buddha.
Breath, zachri. Breeeaath.
No, no.

Ahhhh now I understand. Thanks for the clear up oh Blue One!!!
Thank you Aohige for the translation. Chapter is really great, one of the best of this arc so far.
zachri is most likely like this right now
Worst one piece chapter I've ever read
An normal setup chapter, to me anyway. Nothing outstanding about it, especially with Luffy being shown incapable to harm Doflamingo… again.
I find the fact that Sabo is burning the city down distasteful. Go, Fujitora!
Not a lot happened, to be honest.
Suicidal Bomber Child Soldier Law is already more interesting then the grown up version ever was. Yeah, that would be about it.
