yes i agree that his bounty must higher on the list, but his bounty will never higher than Mihawk.
Also… you earlier mentioned that Shanks was stronger simply because he had CoC.... How do you know Mihawk does not have CoC? I feel like his possession of CoC has been majorly hinted at since the start of the manga. His eyes are hawk eyes which can apparently kill just by looking... sounds like CoC to me. That is just a theory but it may still hold some truth.

I feel like the discussion is okay, but it gets stupid when people start treating them as definitive categories and using them as proof of what a character can and cannot do.
Gotta take it for what it is even though Law is the only Shichibukai that has timeskip feats.

But he is below Marco strength wise IMO. And Diamond is still a DF and can get cut by haki imbued world's strongest strike.
I agree he's below Margo but I still don't think that haki is much help either since Jozu also posses it and he's Armament Haki is probably strong as well, so adding his Devil Fruit + armament haki and you have one of the strongest defenses in the story.

You make a solid point. Not sure if I'm remembering this correctly, but Jozu lost an arm to Kuzan, correct? Did this occur because he got distracted by Ace/WB getting hurt or was that just in the anime?

Yeah thats what happened in the manga too, akainu punching a hole in whitebeards chest distractred joz long enough for kuzan to freeze him arm, then his whole body.

he lost an arm and yes, he lost it because he go distracted, Oda made Marco and Jozu lose their battles the same way.

I think he related with revolusioner army, and he/she is a woman than he/she need more power, so he/she ask to Ivankov to turns her be a guy (that's his past secret that Ivankov said in Impeldown)
He may have a past with the Revolutionaries, but I don't think he was born female. We've seen a drawing of him as a child, and while he looked fairly androgynous, he was drawn without irises - something that is nearly always true of male characters, and (almost?) never true of female characters (barring Law's body-switching of the Strawhats).
It's possible he's part of the very short list of exceptions, but I'd rate the odds as very poor.

General Marines thread should now just be called "Is Garp really admiral level and did Whitebeard really beat Akainu." That is why I was trying to revive some old threads like I partially did this one. Threads such as "Things you would do differently than Luffy" were fun when they were active.

I was thinking of starting a new one, discussing a various moralities of One Piece characters, they actions and how would they compare to the modern ethics. But I think that would be a little too ambitious.

It would take about two seconds before someone mentions why don't you put this in the "General Marines thread". If someone asks that, just say because all discussion just turns into dumb ass power levels. If we have learned anything, in One Piece, power levels are not definite.

Yeah, even Narutobase is more or less unanimous in the discussion of power levels for Naruto. They just debate when powerups will happen or what they will be, but that place is flooded with fanboys. The theories are top notch though.

According to what you have said, the older a character in One Piece, the stronger their haoshoku haki, even though everything that has occurred in the manga so far hints that CoC is built more on training and raw talent, not aging ability.
Have you seen any characters in the manga make a Sea King faint..?

not like that, i said shank have greatest (this i mean strongest) CoC in the world. Power of Mihawk's eyes isn't CoC but that is "aura", like Zoro use "aura" to defeat monet.

Jozu without the use of Armament Haki still has one of the best defenses in One Piece and it hasn't been stated anywhere that Garp was the person who possessed the strongest Armament and please don't say it.

He become shichibukai is not because his power but his status (former Roger crew and have follower from Impeldawn), but i will not surprise if he can mastery his DF, and he can become very thin like paper, and added with CoA, then he will be very strong. (and he cannot be defeated by a swordsman, because every time he get cut down, his body will still connect again)

Possibly haki, and as we've been shown in ID he seems to be similar to Luffy in that when he "throws body parts" he can alter velocity or interchange his weight with velocity to add 1 or the other. I'm assuming a more 'polished version' might have the 'benefits' of Gear 2nd. As in extra impact + an increase in destructive capacity of his buggy balls as we'll. and as a bonus he'll not be that much richer( assuming the name of his group is from not finding his treasure instead of the alternative).

If anything this seems like the most reasonable theory for Buggy. As much as I'd like see the great Captian Buggy get stronger. It wouldn't surprise me if he's just been trolling around while his Impel Down mates grow unbelievably strong.
