-
Err all that hype for that? We already knew it was gonna happen. Whatever.
-
Judging from the poll, you can tell a lot of people are disappointed. But no big deal. lol
-
They were trying to figure out how much and what we want. That's the point of the hype and poll.
-
Funi gave us movie 8 when we were at skypiea (even though they hadn't dubbed alabasta, the arc b4),hell were getting movie 10 before season 5 finishes. Don't think that will be much of an issue.
Yeah, but the Alabasta arc had just finished airing on TV. Movie 8 didn't spoil anything. With movie 10, they're going so far beyond where the dub story is now that they'll have one or two more crew members to where they are now, one of whom hasn't been cast yet.
-
So, wait I'm connfused…Do they already have other seasons confirmed for Funimation to the War arc? Is that what I read right? + Z film?
-
So, wait I'm connfused…Do they already have other seasons confirmed for Funimation to the War arc? Is that what I read right? + Z film?
No. They only licensed up to 336(Ice Hunter Arc) and they don't have Film Z. They could have it but that's all they announced.
-
But film z is a much bigger jump i mean the alabasta arc was released in 09 i believe and if season 6 comes out next year we'll get thriller bark
Aside from the two new crew members (three in a way) in Strong World, FUNi has also shown they have no problem doing such a big jump when they announced they had the Fairy Tail movie last year, which is far ahead of where the dub's latest releases are and features new characters while taking place after a seven year timeskip.
-
But Z is hundreds of episodes ahead of where the dub is.

Zephray, I updated the FAQ for the first post:
EDIT: F.A.Q. as of June 11/2013
! One Piece DVD FAQ:
! Q: Up to what episode has been released in FUNimation Dub format?
A: Episode 264 is the end of FUNimation's "Season 4". That is the final full season that is currently available.
! Q: Are more episodes beyond that coming, and when?
A: Yes, in addition to the Davy Back Fight and Water Seven arcs' releases as "Season 4". They have also announced their acuisition of "Season 5" which spans the entire Enies Lobby Arc and ends with the Ice Hunter Arc. This season will encompass Episodes 264-336, and will be released starting July 23rd 2013 with the first volume that includes Episodes 265-275.
! Q: What about the movies?
A: FUNimation's original license included Movie 8 (Episode of Alabasta) and it was dubbed and released on both DVD and Blu-ray. They have also acquired the rights for "One Piece Film: Strong World", and will release it November 2013.
! Q: Wait, I read somewhere that FUNimation ALSO has "Season 6" which is supposed to include up to the end of the "Impel Down" arc and Movie Z. Is this true?
A: When Season 5 was announced, it appears as though the official text press release from FUNimation included an announcement of "Season 6" and "Film Z" and was very specific about the episodes in that season, indicating it would end at the end of the Impel Down arc. As it was in the email press release sent to most news sites, so many of them began running that information despite FUNimation not actually announcing any of that at the official panel. Everyone later made corrections, removing that part of the information due to FUNimation recanting it and claiming it was a mistake.
! Q: So… it's a mistake then? Don't believe it?
A: FUNimation did include this information in an official press release and were very specific about the episode count contained therein, however yes, they did later claim this was a mistake and recanted it. This could mean that FUNimation actually has acquired those episodes, just cannot legally disclose that information yet, but take that with a huge grain of salt. You are free to draw your own conclusions, but at this time the official answer is that they do not have those episodes yet.
! Q: In what format are the DVDs? IE: How many episodes per set?
A: There are currently two release formats for One Piece. First a set of 11-14 episode "Voyages" comes out as the initial release for a given season. Then, shortly after the season finishes its run, FUNimation re-releases the series on lower priced "Collection" sets which are each comprised of two voyages in new packaging (22-26 Episodes Each). Despite this, the disc contents are exactly the same as the voyages right down to the menus. Each collection has an MSRP of $34.98, but prices may vary depending on the outlet you purchase from. As the voyages for Seasons 1-3 have finished being released prices will vary on those. Starting with Season 4 however, Voyages are priced with an MSRP of $39.98.
! Q: When should I expect the next release?
A: Be sure to check different sources/outlets when you can for updates. Suggestions for areas to find these release dates as they come out include amazon.com, rightstuf.com, animenewsnetwork.com, toonezone.net, and crunchyroll.com, among others.
DemonRin will attempt to keep the image above this FAQ updated with that information, however it is possible she may get behind so check elsewhere as well.
! Q: What episode are available in those formats?
A: The entire first 3 US Seasons (Episodes 1-205) are available in Collection format with Season 4 being available in only Voyages thus far. In the past, as the Collections were released, the corresponding Voyage releases were discontinued. Is it not yet known if this will also be the case with Season 4. Despite Season 4 being finished in Voyage format now, do not expect news on collections until we are nearing the end of Season 5's release to give FUNimation more material to collect.
! Q: What about Blu-ray? Will the series ever be Re-released in HD?
A: Episodes 1-206 Were produced in Standard Definition via digital ink and paint, therefore an HD Master of these episodes does not exist. For this reason, any Blu-ray that could be released of this material would be an upscale, which most Blu-ray players already do automatically to Standard Definition DVDs. For this reason, while a Blu-ray release of this material is possible, it is pretty much pointless and will not look noticeably better than a DVD release played on a Blu-ray player with Upscale. Either way, there is no information whatsoever about such a release.
! Q: But what about 207+ then?
A: That is the point by which the series began to be produced in Native HD by Toei Animation. FUNimation has revealed in their press release that they have the 16:9 Widescreen HD masters of those episodes.
! Q: Then, will we get a Blu-ray of that?
A: FUNimation currently doesn't have Blu-ray rights for those episodes but noted it was possible and they would be looking into the release format in the future. It is not likely Toei Animation in will give FUNimation those rights. So while it is POSSIBLE we may see a Blu-ray release eventually, currently it does not appear likely, at least in the near future.
! Q: But Why? FUNimation released Movie 8 on Blu-ray, why not the series?
A: There hasn't been any direct information as to why Toei will not release the Blu-ray rights to FUNimation despite providing them with HD Masters, however the most likely answer is that since Japan currently does not have any form of a Blu-ray released planned for the series, and since Blu-ray shares the same regional locking code as America, this would allow Japanese fans to reverse-import the FUNimation Blu-rays, and Toei would not want that to happen. The movies, however, DO have a Japanese Blu-ray release, making it okay for FUNimation to do the same.
! Q: If not Blu-ray, is there some other way we may get HD One Piece from FUNimation?
A: Actually, yes! FUNimation recently struck a deal with [adult swim] to air One Piece on their recently resurrected Toonami block.. When viewed on the HD version of Cartoon Network, that broadcast is indeed presented in 1080p HD. If not for the network logos, it would be pretty much a Blu-ray release's equivalent in quality.
! Q: So, if it's POSSIBLE, then how will the Blu-rays be released when/if it happens?
A: Most likely, if a Blu-ray release happens it will either be a dual-release (IE: Both a DVD and A Blu-ray release simultaniously) as they have done with Dragon Ball Kai or they will do a Blu-ray/DVD "Combo Pack" with both formats in one box as they have done with Fairy Tail.
! Q: Are FUNimation's releases Uncut?
A: Yes, Absolutely no in-episode animation content has been changed whatsoever from the Japanese DVD release.
! Q: Are there any differences at all then?
A: FUNimation has a new "Gold" logo that they use for their releases, the Logo has been replaced wherever it appears. (IE, opening and closing themes and Eyecatches) Also, the episode title cards (Reading off the name of the episode) have been rendered (accurately translated) in English and no Japanese option is available for them.* Other than that, the material is left alone.
! *The exception to this rule would be Movie 8. Using angles, it changes the logo and title cards to Japanese if you choose the Japanese language option.
! Q: What about the Opening and Ending Songs?
A: All opening and ending songs are presented as originally broadcast with one exception. Before Season 4, all are dubbed in the English language track, and left entirely alone in the Japanese track. The first ending theme of Season 4, "Mirai Koukai" was skipped by FUNimation, and those episodes where it should appear instead use the next song, "Eternal Pose". The situation caught FUNimation off-guard and caused them to be unable to dub the opening and ending in time for the release of the beginning of Season 4, so at that point the English track begins to default to Japanese OP and ED music. A title card indicated they would try to correct this in the future.
! Q: But why did FUNimation do this?
A: It was not their choice. Every time FUNimation gets a new set of episodes, everything right down to the music has its own set of rights that must be secured. Somewhere in the process, most likely with the artists, someone refused to give the rights to that song so it had to be omitted. This is a problem caused by the Japanese rights holders. FUNimation is not responsible, nor can they do anything about it.
! Q: They stopped dubbing the songs then? Will they ever start again?
A: The title card at the beginning of the first Season 4 DVD explaining the rights issue did say that the same issue also caused them to be unable to dub the songs there, they specifically say this hindered up to episode 230. Most likely the loss of those rights caught FUNimation off-guard and therefore they didn't expect to have to have Eternal Pose dubbed yet, and therefore didn't have the work completed yet. They did however specifically state that after episode 230, they at least intend to begin dubbing the songs again, however as of the release of Voyage 4 (ending with episode 252) this has proven to still not be the case. It is unknown if or when they will start dubbing the songs again, only that they would prefer to.
! Q: Is Zoro "Zoro" or is he "Zolo"?
A: Zoro's name is rendered as "Zoro" in all text appearances (Subtitles, title cards, packaging etc) and spoken word (dub, special features) on FUNimation's DVDs. For some reason, his wanted poster in the Eyecatch will occasionally say "Zolo" when it appears on the first 26 episodes, but this is both an unintentional error that was corrected and is on screen for less than one second and can't be seen by the naked eye during a normal viewing of the series. The only way to see it is to frame-by-frame view the scene. Otherwise he is "Zoro" at all times.
! Q: How is the quality of the English Dub?
A: This is subjective from person to person, but has received positive response from fans overall.
! Q: Is the translation accurate in both formats?
A: Yes, the subtitles are accurate to what is being said, however nothing is left in Japanese except for honorifics and the occasional name. All words are translated to English including Devil Fruit names, attacks, Shichibukai (to Seven Warlords of the Sea) and "Nakama".
The dub is pretty much completely accurate but occasionally has to make slight alterations to match Lip-flap but rarely is the meaning of anything changed because of this.
! Q: What about all the series-specific terms?
A: Everything is translated. For the first 2 seasons, a very small number of terms had to be left in their Viz/4kids forms at the request of Toei animation. However, they are few and far between. (Such as one or two of Kuro and Arlong's attacks)
! Q: Why did those few things slip by?
A: When FUNimation took over the series from 4kids, Toei (the company that animates One Piece) provided them with a "Master List of Terms" which lays out Toei's preferred terminology for use in the series. This list had major errors on it, and heavily favored using the same terms used by 4kids and Viz Manga to maintain consistency. As such, the list mentioned that they would need to use terms like "Zolo" and "Merry Go" for Zoro and the Going Merry respectively. The translator working on One Piece at the time, Clyde Mandelin got an account and posted here as "Mato" to alert us to these facts as well as to tell us that FUNimation is able to appeal these terms by requesting permission to change them from Toei directly, but have to wade through a certain level of red tape to do so. That is why most of the major terms like "Zoro" were corrected.
! Q: Why didn't they just correct everything then?
A: As I briefly mentioned before, the process for appealing a term is not easy. According to Mato they need to supply Toei with some kind of actual proof that the terminology they provided is wrong and asked for help from the fanbase on at least one occasion to provide images from the manga in which this is demonstrated. Because of this, they needed to pick their battles carefully, and wisely decided that major terms such as "Zoro", "Going Merry", "Paramecia" etc were of more importance. Therefore, some of the minor terms including a few of the early villain attacks (Kuro, Arlong etc.) were left. They also left a term alone if the term picked by Toei was accurate, just not typical. (IE: "Gum Gum", "Battle Axe", "Shark Darts")FUNimation Dub International FAQ:
! Q: Where besides America is the FUNimation Dub available?
is that they appear to be using the original Blue One Piece Logo instead of FUNimation's Gold one, and have completely different disc art on the actual DVDs themselves. Other than that, no other differences have yet come to light.
A: Canada also uses Region 1 DVD codes, therefore the FUNimation DVDs sold in America are also sold in Canada and will play in Canadian DVD players without modification. Outside that, FUNimation themselves do not distribute DVDs in other regions, but their dub is used in some international releases including Madman Australia's release of the series and recently Manga UK's announced release.
! Madman Australia Questions:
Q: What Format are the episodes being released in?
A: The primary release format in this version matches FUNimation's "Voyages" release exactly right down to the use of the exact same cover art. (See the above FAQ for more info) The only difference is that while FUNimation refers to their releases by "Season X Voyage X" Madman simply calls them all "Collections" and numbers them sequentially, meaning the first set of FUNimation's "Season Four" is simply called "Collection 17".
! Q: But if they're doing the "Collections", does that mean they have (around) 26 episodes per set?
A: As said above, they emulate the "Voyages" exactly, therefore they have 11-14 episodes each as stated above in the break down of the voyages. Madman simply decided to call their release "Collections" and actually did so before FUNimation decided to call their re-release "Collections". It's simply an unfortunate naming decision that potentially creates confusion.
! Q: So, do Madman have any kind of re-release of the series? Is it equivalent to the FUNimation "Collections"?
A: They have re-released the series in bigger boxed sets however they went an entirely different route than FUNimation decided to. Instead of 22-26 episode sets as FUNimation are doing, Madman decided to repackage the first 16 volumes (3 FUNimation Seasons) into two massive boxed sets called "One Piece Treasure Chests 1 & 2" Containing 103 and 102 episodes respectively. A picture of them can be seen here.
! Q: Are there any appreciable differences between the FUNimation release and the Madman Release?
A: None has been discovered at this time. They appear to be completely identical besides Madman's name and logo appearing at some logical places on the packaging and credits.
! Q: How far behind FUNimation is Madman?
A: They're consistently one volume behind FUNimation. Collection 19 which will correspond to FUNimation Season 4 Voyage 3 will be released March 20th 2013. Basically, around the time FUNimation releases a volume, expect Madman to release their version of the previous volume.
! Q: What about the Movies?
A: Madman pretty much follows FUNimation's lead on everything. As such, they also have a release of Movie 8, Episode of Alabasta at this time. No word has yet been given on what they plan to do with Movie 10, Strong World that FUNimation announced for release in November 2013 but it would be fair to assume Madman will want to release it some time after FUNimation makes their release in America.
! Q: Australia doesn't have our own version of Amazon, where should I order the DVDs?
A: If you look, you can find plenty of online retailers, however I would recommend JB Hifi's website.
! Manga UK Questions:
Q: Is Manga really releasing One Piece in the UK?!
A: Yes! It is true! Manga announced that they will be releasing the FUNimation dub of One Piece in the UK! Rejoice~!
! Q: What episodes are available?
A: The first volume has been released collecting episodes 1-26 and can be purchased at Amazon.co.uk right now along with the ability to pre-order the next 3 sets. The Release dates of sets 2, 3, and 4 are July 1st, September 23rd and November 11th respectively. If this release pace holds up, Manga will be releasing the episodes at right around 1 set every 1-2 months
! Q: What's the release format (Episode count) on these Sets?
A: They appear to be emulating FUNimation's "Collection" sets exactly right down to the cover art. The only apparent difference based on an
! Q: What about the Movies?
A: As Manga UK's release is very new at this point, and the series itself has not even begun to come out, there is as of yet no information whatsoever on any movie release. However, as they will be reusing the FUNimation dub materials, it would be safe to assume Manga will not be releasing any movies before FUNimation. Thanks! Sorry it took so long! Busy few weeks!

Considering we have an official simulcast and how far ahead VIZ is it's not a big deal that "Strong World" is already getting dubbed. Same with "Film Z".

I'd say it's still a big deal because we get to hear a few voices int he anime for the first time and see that god tier animation on Blu-Ray.
-
We're nearing the release window. I expect it at the beginning of July. About two weeks from now. Looking forward to it.
Gear…
--- Update From New Post Merge ---
I keep forgetting that we'll hear the other CP9 members in this set. Can't wait for that. I'm looking forward to Califa and Kaku eating the *****. And the Blueno fight. And certainly Gear Second.

In case you're not being sarcastic that bit in the FAQ is a bit outdated. Many of us were expecting to have song dubs starting with Season 4 Voyage 3, but we're currently in S4 Voyage 5 and there's been no word of any change happening anytime soon. Dubbed songs are still possible at some point in the future (if Avex decides to change their policy for whatever reason, which is also affecting other dubs of OP) but there's no plans for them to be back anytime soon. That whole thing about FUNimation not being able to dub Eternal Pose in time was just speculation we came up with based on the confusion of missing an entire ending song.

I'm watching my old voyages from season 1, and was just reminded of a glaring error. Season One, Fourth Voyage doesn't have an episode preview following episode 52. Was this ever corrected on the collections?
-
Prelim info from Previews (they list their stuff on Wednesdays, so it's pretty much equate to a September 3rd release for S5V2).

-
Season One, Fourth Voyage doesn't have an episode preview following episode 52. Was this ever corrected on the collections?
Well in Japan episode 52 was followed by TV special 1, and there's no NEP on the Hulu upload either, so I assume that either Toei never gave FUNi the NEP for that episode, or one was never made at all. Although, oddly episodes 149, 174 and 253 do have NEPs on FUNi's DVDs despite being in the same situation (I remember watching a fan-sub of 253 ripped from the original broadcast with the NEP for special 4 instead of episode 254). Does anyone know if the Japanese DVD had an NEP on episode 52?
And the actual discs for the Collections (minus the image on them) are identical to the Voyages, even the menus are identical and still say "Season X, Voyage Y". -
Oh, so it wasn't an omission after all. I feel better now.
I hope future re-releases correct some of the rare episode title screen problems….
-
there were problems with the episode titles, i think i miss them.

If the date is correct for voyage 2 it seems like season 5 will end in may or June quick question if we get a announcement for season 6 before five ends will funimation take a break from releasing the series or stay at their same pace
-
Sweet its probably gonna come in Mid-August. Which is good since Robin's backstory won't be seperated for too long. Also wonder what they're gonna do about the credits in that set.
-
If the date is correct for voyage 2 it seems like season 5 will end in may or June quick question if we get a announcement for season 6 before five ends will funimation take a break from releasing the series or stay at their same pace
Unless they get too close to the Japanese releases, I find it rather unlikely that they'll take a break from releases. It just wouldn't make good business sense to do so, given it's saleability. My guess is that we'll hear about season six officially by the end of the summer.
-
Woah. That's only a month and two weeks after the previous voyage. Awesome. I hope they keep them that close.
In fact, they might be testing the waters for an even closer release schedule. I'd love a monthly schedule. Though I'll be happy with a 1.5 month schedule, if they continue with this change.
I mean, they're done with Enies Lobby, so I can see why they'd speed up the releases. Otherwise we'd be getting content one year from now that they've already finished now.
-

The Brand Manager Josh Kocurek said on the OPP recently that the sales of the Voyages are strong enough for there to not be any plans on slowing down on the current release schedule. While that could easily just apply to Season 5, if they really have Season 6 like the leak said last year, then I seriously doubt there will be a break. The dub is far enough behind the Japanese broadcast that I doubt it'd be an issue with Toei.
-

I'm not sure this would matter though. The French dub is in the 500s after all.

Oh wow, how exactly does that? I'm curious.

read the following two question and answers on the FAQ, that addresses it. its not out of date.

A shorter release schedule for Season 5 would be awesome. I'm pumped for Enies Lobby since this will be the first time I'll see it in the anime. I can't wait to see the behind the scene for Season 5, and I especially want to hear the casts reactions to all the events that will happen in Season 5.
On another note, I'm visiting a friend of mine for a few days next week. We'll be marathoning Season 4 Voyages 3 - 5, and he'll be seeing the Water 7 Arc and Franky for the first time. He's been waiting to see this arc since I introduce him to One Piece back when we were first roommates in '08. He knows some small bits about Water 7 and Enies Lobby (like Franky appears and Gear 2nd), but not most of plot itself. It's going to be a great week.
-
@Galaxy:
I'm not sure this would matter though. The French dub is in the 500s after all.
Are we talking about early 500s? Because I doubt the gap is less than 50 episodes from Japan.
-
What do you guys think of Toonami premiering season 6 before it comes out on DVD?
-
What do you guys think of Toonami premiering season 6 before it comes out on DVD?
Would never happen. It would be a mix for me, though. It would mean the episodes would come out slower, but I'd have something to look forward to every week.
I don't know how I'd feel about it. Pros and cons.
-
I wouldn't mind it as long as the Toonami broadcast kept eyecatchers and Next Episode Previews. Also keep the full openings for season 6.
On another note, Thriller Bark arc now has its own Saga because it split with the Whitebeard War Saga or now as they are calling it, Summit War Saga. How do you guys think of that.
-
What do you guys think of Toonami premiering season 6 before it comes out on DVD?
If you mean the natural way, I'm afraid it would need to catch up first. Something I don't ever see happening, given the speed of the release vs the airing speed.
-
Are we talking about early 500s? Because I doubt the gap is less than 50 episodes from Japan.
Yeah, around Episode 504 I believe.
The Toriko DVDs are ~60 episodes behind the Japanese broadcast at the moment though.
-
@SniperKing(Sogeking):

On another note, Thriller Bark arc now has its own Saga because it split with the Whitebeard War Saga or now as they are calling it, Summit War Saga. How do you guys think of that.
I don't really think anything of it seeing as how the organization of the arcs into sagas was always fanmade/unofficial to begin with. I'll continue to just think of it the way it was before.
I'd be happy with Season 6 premiering on Toonami first too but I definitely agree with you on the Next Episode Previews (I'm fine with that on Season 4 since we already have the DVDs) there's no way we'd get full openings and while I don't mind usually about eyecatchers being cut, it definitely poses a bit of a problem when the music flows into it.
Also it would take a very long time for Toonami to make it to the end of Season 5 and with all those things likely remaining cut from the episodes like they have been so far I'd say it really wouldn't be worth it.
-
Hopefully when the endings go away, they'll add the next episode previews in place of that.
-
I wouldn't like it.
Toonami only comes on once a week, and if it continues like that, Season 5 won't air on the block until June 2014.
By that time, the Season 5 voyage releases would already be finished or close to it.
And it would take Toonami another year just to reach Season 6, which means we won't see those episodes broadcasted until 2015.@Galaxy:
Yeah, around Episode 504 I believe.
The Toriko DVDs are ~60 episodes behind the Japanese broadcast at the moment though.
About 95 episodes behind.
That's a pretty good distance.
-
Nope, we DVD fans have finally got a consistent release going on, I'd rather not mess up things just for Toonami airings. Especially since most of the fans on this thread already seem to watch the Toonami airings so it wouldn't be of much use to us.
-
About 95 episodes behind.
That's a pretty good distance.
No, actually the French dub is at episode 558 and that aired about about 9 months ago. Too bad we'll never be 15 episodes away from the Japanese broadcast…
-
It would be ideal for the Toonami airings to be further ahead than the DVD releases. That's how it's supposed to be. We could tune in every week to see newly dubbed One Piece episodes, and then buy the bilingual DVD sets when they come out. I would love that. As it stands now; however, that won't happen unless they put the DVD releases on a pretty long hiatus or speed up One Piece on Toonami. A speed up would be awesome, but will probably never happen. Even if One Piece is really successful on Toonami, I think they will treat it equally with other shows and try to appease everybody instead of pushing One Piece too much.
-
I mean if they were really serious about jumping to newer material for T.V. broadcast they should just go all the way and have full-on premieres. The DVDs would have to go on hiatus, which yeah the wait would suck but I mean not every "One Piece" fan can afford the voyages at the release rate they have now. You'd still get new episodes regardless.
I dunno, maybe in the middle of season 5 wouldn't be bad either.
-
Woah, woah, woah. I wasn't counting a hiatus. I meant if they just skipped ahead. F*** that. I want a consistent release schedule. No hiatus.
-
I wouldn't want the broadcast to jump ahead for the sole reason that FUNimation then is going to have to rush to get episodes out on a weekly basis due to deadlines, therefore affecting the quality. No, things are fine as is.

I don't really think anything of it seeing as how the organization of the arcs into sagas was always fanmade/unofficial to begin with. I'll continue to just think of it the way it was before.
Actually, that's how the official Japanese website divides it up. It's why there's a different Motion Manga for Thriller Bark than The Summit/Paramount War, just as there's a different Motion Manga for every other "saga."

Quick question what is everyone's favorite performance of season 4 when it comes to nonstrawhat characters mine was lucci or tom

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Greg mentioned at one point that the official website isn't supervised by Oda.

The only way I would go for Season 6 premiering on TV before DVD is if the TV broadcast caught up with the DVD release, not the other way around where the releases would have to slow down. But the only way the TV broadcast could catch up would be to have multiple episodes each week. And once they caught up, there would have to be at least 2 episodes a week to stay consistent with the release schedule (6 1/2 weeks = 13 episodes = 1 voyage). However, we know something like that won't be happening anytime soon, especially since Toonami has said multiple One Piece per week isn't in the cards right now.
So to sum up, I'm for standing pat right now and I'm fine with how things are going. I feel the consistent release schedule is important. If things can change where the broadcast can catch up with the releases, or the Funi releases somehow catch up to the Japanese releases and then slow down to their pace, that is when I personally would be more open to changing things.
