shut up wolfwoof will just pick me up from wherever
Post how your day was…

And feed you with IKEA meatballs and deer meat every single day, I'm sure.
I'm moving to the mountains with a certain somebody. Goodbye.

Come on up in the summer. We'll drink mead and sit barefoot in the fresh grass.
Maybe dance around our huge phallic midsummer stick and eat our entire stock of fishes in various curious forms of pickling
Could probably wrangle up some nice moose dishes. Easily in the top 3 of great types of meat
Eh i'm fresh out of stereotypical while actual nice things to do. There's probably about eight more somewhere in the secret book of Swedish fun

You forgot the grilling. :)
EDIT: Yeah, uh, might wanna turn down the volume a little. -
I've only had two grillningar (BBQ) this month. I feel weak and sad
Must devour meat outdoors

wolfwoof, Sweden's answer to the beastly Hulk
by day he is Arlong Park's Most Profound Member (out of a sample size of 10)
by night he is a wild creature who roams the treacherous Swedish outdoors, ravaging any animal he finds in order to barbecue it with finesse
-
Two grillningar sounds just about right but not too much, "lagom" you might say. :) Bring out the flintastek!
-

EDIT: Yeah, uh, might wanna turn down the volume a little. That is amazing. And a true meat lover. Aint nobody doing that for portabella burgers.
I love crazy downpours you guys make me really want to visit Sweden lol.
-
One thing to note about Sweden is that when it's summer and the sun is up literally everybody is outside
If you want a table in the sun you'd best bring you fighting cutlass

Sweden really is a lot like Seattle lol. I'm sure I'd adjust just fine…Aside from knowing the language.

Fighting cutlass? Hahaha, at the absolute worst someone will look embarrassed when realizing they are left table-less. :P Nothing will ever be said about it. No-one would even dare ask if they might sit at the same table as a stranger.

=O Wow. Okay maybe I will look into taking a trip lol. I just have the mindset that when I travel I'd like to be able to at least have minor conversations or know some basic vocab. I love languages. In a perfect world I would use my shadow clones to learn all languages hehehe.

Yes, you will probably be understood if speaking English in Sweden… Just don't expect anyone to talk with you. :D

Oh, don't worry. It's someone else entirely. And our relations are far more complicated than those of an ordinary couple - it's a genuine symbiosis.

You might be frustrated in your struggles to learn Swedish. Since people you met will automatically switch over to English when they realize that you are an American.
Atleast that's what the Canadians around my campus experience

I'm like 90% sure people wouldn't think I was Swedish at a glance.

Fun fact. Everyone from Gothenburg has this really cute accent that make them sound friendly and good natured. But they aren't. Like at all
The disconnect betwenn the two is hilarious. It's like a county full of Mike Tyson's

Yeah, well. We still have all the shrimps, prawns, atlantic herring, lobsters and all that good stuff so like whatever. :P
Oh, and all the good music is ours too. Coming to think of it, I dunno if the rest of Sweden have anything to live for at all.EDIT: Oh, and also the humor is ours. :P

I definitely want to head further up north in Europe someday, the Netherlands and Sweden seem like really nice and peaceful places to visit. And I really want to see tulips someday so I might head to Belgium; who knows, we might get to meet then
.

:'''''''''''''''''''''' ( -
You know I actually planned my last Europe trip basically entirely around visiting people from the internet (from IRC, mostly). I stayed with people I had never met in every city I visited so it was both a huge money saver and nice to have someone to take me around. It was surprisingly awesome and I am happy to say I didn't get raped or murdered.
But to do that you have to plan your vacation spots based on where you know people, not on where you want to go. If you're lucky they coincide. And I did have people willing to meet me in places that were not their city of residence. And it's not like I ended up in lame places. My trip included Madrid, Luxembourg, Amsterday, Stockholm / other places in Sweden, and Helsinki.

There is a often heard claim that Göteborgare have a great sense of humor
Which is about as true as their supposed good nature. But you do have alot of fish i'll give you that :p

Oh man that's horrible. Do they know what kind it is?
Oh yeeeeah. Soooo much swagger. :ninja:
Well you probably aren't aware of your own americanisms :p
-
Thank you! I hope my friends and I have as good a time as you did. :) I assume you didn't have any safety/pickpocket problems? That's what I'm most afraid of Unfortunately we decided not to go to Florence, since it's a 90-minute ride each way and costs like 40e. We're going to Tivoli instead~ And Brighton in the UK!

Oh, yeah, while I personally didn
t have any trouble, you should definitely be careful, I´ve heard a lot of bad stories regarding pickpockets. I think I actually wore my wallet on a string around my neck. Looks goofy, but hey. And you
ve never seen tulips? AwwMy cousin and her boyfriend went on a trip to Sweden a short while ago; they had this small cottage reaaaaaaaaaally far out on the countryside, with no one around, I guess to experience that peacefulness you talked about. Well, to be honest, they kinda got bored after a few days and came back home earlier I do think this kind of vacation could be pretty awesome if you had a bunch of good friends and a whole lot of alcohol with you. Best way to enjoy the beautiful landscape…...ohman, Sweden :wub:I dont want to discriminate against the Danish and Norwegian people around here though; I love all of you, Scandinavia :) It
s been a while, but I hope I can visit it sometime soon. First Italy and the Netherlands, though. I need a beach and I need some sun. Badly. -

I got quite cross this morning. I had Nia order a NEW One Piece Unlimited Cruise (special edition where they have both games in a box) for me and instead of receiving that this morning, I received some crappy USED games based on Agatha Christie's novels. On the papers it even said it was what I ordered. Well, it wasn't. Fuck you Amazon.de for ruining my morning. :/
-
I must admit, i had no idea there was so much…rivalry betwenn scandinavian countries, I thought you were all good friends..
And Swedes and others Swedes

There are games for everything. Also, I seem to be of a very short temperament today, I sure hope I don't go off on anyone.

Speaking of mums, mine destroyed the point of 'sharing is caring' and gave me her cold :I

My flight has been delayed to 1.20am. I place all blame on Woody.
