Robin used to be… something, before the anime whitewashed her.
Things That You Would Like to See in the Manga

That's not how he looked in the 4kids version.

Kid Muscle as a kid right there. Or am i the only one who remembers that show/

Robin used to be… something, before the anime whitewashed her.
Wasn't it the other way around?I thought it was that the anime tanned her.
I've recently read through the entire manga and I don't remember her having darker skin in any of the earlier colorspreads.

Yes it was. After the timeskip the anime changed it to match the manga.

Yep. Usopp and Robin were whitewashed in order to be more faithful to the original source.
That still doesn't explain Law keeping the tan.
-
Sabo being dead and not appearing later on.
Coby not getting a devil fruit and certainly not the mera mera no mi.
Luffy being alive at the conclusion of the story. With Nami by his side (please ignore this if it angers/annoys you )
Sanji and Zoro getting some shichibukai level opponents soon.
The return of Mr. Prince (oen of the main reasons for Sanji being my fav. SH)
Luffy beating Kaidou or any yonko in a clean 1v1, no 2v1 or anything.
Law getting his ass handed to him, preferably by Doflamingo.

@Стрелок:
You will be disappointed.
Yeah, I know. He's probably with Dragon or something.
I'd be fine with him becoming an ally of Luffy, but I feel that he'd get a 50 chapter arc resolving around him, which I'd rather not have. Just my humble opinion
-
I second all of SanjiFan's wishes and would like to add a few more:
-A Luffy vs. Dragon and/or Garp fight to show he has surpassed them. Just a chapter or two were it is made clear.
-Zoro breaking Mihawks sword during their final fight. I think it would be a fitting end for Mihawk because I don't want him to die but he really needs to lose by a wide margin.
-Strawhats shown after the end still traveling together.
-Jinbei finally joining in this arc
-Ivankov defeating Kuma
-Vegapunk's opinion on the marines because I think he is the most mysterious man in this series. With Dragon we at least know his goals. -
I want to see Robin have her jaw-dropping moment!! Think about it, Nami and Robin barely have their amazement moments (especially Robin), heck even Franky Shogun can't even amaze them, just wonder what case that could be cause their amaze moment. :getlost:
Forgot to add Bepo!! :ninja: I wanna see Bepo in the chapter 702. Come on Oda!! You tease all Bepo lovers (add Sachi and Penguin aswell) since PH arc started, last 3 chapters was truly big BIG tease!!! (please CMIIW, ch 699 Bepo showed in Law's bounty, ch 700 showed again in small panel when Law talked about his crews, and last ch 701 his fingerprint in the map). Oda really like to tease XD

Talked about this a bit in the theories thread, but figured it also belongs here:
I'd love to see Wano surrounded by some extreme weather conditions as a call to the "kamikaze" (Not the suicide pilots, but the older usage that that was probably derived from), two typhoons that wiped out two seperate mongol invasions of Japan. It'd fit the japanese history theme wano has going for it and it'd be in line with the idea that the new world has some really crazy weather. It could also be a good time for Nami and the Sunny to shine in getting through the weather to reach Wano. Some ideas for what it could be are stuff like a giant wall of wind that surrounds the island or maybe just having a ton of typhoons that generally pop out of nowhere at a moment's notice in the seas around the island -

-Ivankov defeating Kuma
This.
I can't wait to see what happens with Kuma. He is one of the most interesting characters in One Piece.
-
Kuma is definitely one of the most interesting characters but unfortunately much of his backstory probably won't be revealed until Luffy meets his father so a long way from now.
But then a whole arc can be made for the backstories of the revolutionaries. Which I would enjoy very much. -
I'd like to see Coby never eat a devil fruit but be more like a super charged Lucci but using haki. This would be very nice also he has to use CoA too not just CoO.
I'd like to see Zoro actually meet his match because recently everyone he's beaten was too easy.
I'd like to see another bounty raise for Zoro and Sanji since they are part of the strong trio. But Luffy has a bounty of 400,000,000 so not a bounty raise for him too soon. -

HE will probably find it at Wano or in the yonkou's crew.

The captain is sure to get a bounty raise.
-
I think the reason why Zoro rarely "loses" is because he made that vow to Luffy back in Baratie arc to never lose again. So far he hasn't really broken that promise. That's probably why Oda handicaps Zoro so much.
Anyway something that I want to see is at least ONE more Enel-face! I can't wait to see how it will be used. What fruit user will be nullified this time?
-

Definitely agree on the bolded part!

This.

I kinda wish Zoro to be the one to take him down in the the Vegapunk arc.
I have VERY high expectations for this arc cause I want:
- The island to be full of insane booby traps.
- Insane animals cyborgs rampage non stop.
- Enhanced PX fights and all the straw hats fight.
- Franky vs Vegapunk in sentai mode of course.
- Zoro vs Real enhanced Kuma.
- Luffy vs Sentoumaru.
- Kuma's background and a friendship with Vegapunk.
-

He lost agaisnt Enel. But i think he just meant a swords fight.

Sorry I didn't mean to stray from the thread.
Yeah, I'm sure Zoro will find his match soon.
I know the captain will get a bounty raise but since he's past 300,000,000 already it should just take longer. -
After Kuzan froze Luffy during their first encounter, he was going to tell Luffy something but decided not to because it was "just Smoker's stupid talk".
I'm really curious as to what Smoker's message was, and I hope it's brought up again sometime.

Probably something like "I'll be the one to capture you! Just you wait."
-
I want to know more about the Red Line. Is it a unified continent under the total control the World Governement, or it is divided by numerous country. And the revolutionary too, what's really up with them.
-
I'd like to see the Kidpookins Alliance successfully take down a Yonkou themselves. The whole thing with the "Worst Generation" is that the world is waiting for these guys to do their thing and they fear the chaos that they could bring with them. I don't want Luffy, Zoro, and Law to be the only ones who contributes to that.
-

It's just go to a slower pace. like Zoro could get a increase of 50M while Luffy get only 20M
-
I want Robson to make a Mohmoo-like comeback. That would actually pretty much be something Oda would do.
-
I NEED to get inside Marine HQ. seeing their big book of top 'wanted list'
ascending top 100 list from the highest bounty and so on. itd be sweet
-

I think that's unlikely. People in the OP world tend to view the Captain as partially-responsible for everything their subordinates do, thus, it wouldn't make sense for a crewmate to get a higher bounty raise than the Captain.

On most case, its usually the quality rather than the quantity of the total bounty which is more important. It does not matter how big the increased amount is but the end figure of the bounty. I mean, say Zoro gets an increase of 100M from 120M which will give him a total of 220M then compared with Luffy who gets only 50M increase but in the end, Luffy's bounty would have end up 450M.
-
That weird thing in the Florian Triangle.
I want Oda to explain it.
-
I have said it before but I will say it again, I would like to see an explanation for Ashura (Asura?) it has been almost 7 years since Zoro 1st used it and I am one of those weirdos that waits for One piece every week so I have been waiting a long time
-
Luffy needs to kill someone, this isn't some land of fairy tail, this is about pirates. The crew said like hundred times "we need to be serious now" but they never are serious. Oda already missed the perfect opportunity for Luffy to kill someone: Hody. Fukaboshi said Hody is a soulless vessel and pure evil without any goals, Luffy destroys his enemy's dreams, no dream > jackpot! But Oda fucked it up again, now Hody is sitting in a cage suffering from his drug overdose because drugs are bad like in some 90's sutterday morning cartoon and everything is like it was six years ago.
-
What glorious benefit would there be to Luffy killing dudes besides "oh,how daaark and coool"?

A definitive end.

It's a Shonen manga meant for people ages 10 and up, don't expect Luffy to kill anyone anytime soon. Look at other Shonens, the main characters rarely kill.

like naruto kills people or we mean he wants to make love with them ?

We aren't at the point where this question would be appropriate. We're at the point where it's outright ridiculous that Luffy never killed his enemy. Arc endings become more and more like endings of a generic Scooby Doo episode, best exampe is Hody behind bars.
-
Batman is seriously ridiculous because he never kills anybody.

Doesn't he always make sure they end up in prison? And Batman is an hero and Luffy a pirate.
-
And Batman is an hero and Luffy a pirate.
Might as well go complain that the Straw Hats aren't into pillaging and rape.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
To summarize:
1)There are plenty of stories where the protagonist(s) goes kicking tons of ass without ever actually killing anyone.
2)If "making sure X goes to prison" fulfills your criteria for "definitive ending",then I can point out that we do get plenty of coverage of what happens to Luffy's fallen foes. With few exceptions like Krieg,Kuro and...that serpent Luffy knocks out in chapter 1?
3)A character not having "THE end" is actually not a bad thing when it comes to Oda,as they often do get to play a role afterwards.Just ask Baroque Works. -
I like shounen for the semi childish way they describe a lot of things and I really don't need killing and stuff. It's like beeing child and having going on adventures and finding tresures and so on.
-

Oda already explained in the first SBS why Luffy doesn't kill ppl. If u don't like it then just stop reading the story…@kanzen:

How is Hody being gehind bars a bad thing? He's an old man and nobody likes or listens to him anymore he's hardly a threat. There's no reason to even kill him when he's not a threat anymore.
-
The thing I would most like to see in the manga is if Akainu kept Sengoku's Seagull hat.
-
The bigger issue for me in OP isn't that people don't die, it's that they constantly "die" only to appear alive with most of the time 0 explanation given how they are alive. It's the only series where someone gets stabbed in the heart, presumed dead, but the fans in the poll the majority voted she lives due to Oda's history.
This is a personal opinion, but I like that Luffy doesn't kill. He doesn't strike me as the type to do so, but again this my personal preference and I understand why others want the complete opposite to happen.
-
I want to know what happened with Bellamy. Last we saw, he was a second away from being knifed in the head. Did he live or die? Is there any significance to the outcome not being shown (him coming back later, though I can't imagine what for), or will we be forever left wondering?
Speaking of Bellamy: a lot of people remember Ace's and Whitebeard's deaths, and cite them as One Piece's only two deaths in the present time. There was actually a death before them: Bellamy killed a guy named Roshio because he was a sore loser (Roshio beat him at a game of poker).

Eh, there isn't really anything to be gained in Luffy killing anyone. It's not who he is. Killing someone would cause some fairly drastic changes in him, as a person, and I don't think that's a road Oda wants to walk down. We, the readers, are perfectly aware that every single one of the Straw Hats is capable of being downright dangerous when the circumstances call for it. Their style is usually relaxed, but they're capable of becoming serious in an instant and it's been that way since day one.

Oh I never thought of it that way. But it makes sense.

It could just because the Captain is already past 300,000,000. Maybe you're right though, I'm not too sure.
