Don't assume there are no new characters when the guy creates new characters in his sleep. I mean, Shiki and Zephyr are both canon but he decided ill just donate them to movie canon as well lo.
Oda is not scared of introducing another 10 characters in a few chapters. There are also unnamed and non-introduced characters that we have never seen yet, such as the level 6 prisoners that broke out of impel down, Crocodile and Moriah's new affiliations, the world government higher ups as there are obviously more important people there, Kaidou and Big Mam's crew mates, as well as every arc introducing 5-10 new important characters.
Fozy, it's not convenient to me nor to my argument, because I don't really care if I'm right or wrong. To me, it's this simple: the most reliable source of the One Piece Universe has told us there is more than one Admiral.
By the way, the movie is not really the point of discussion here, I don't know why you shift from admirals to film so constantly.

The reason why people disagree with you because it has been shown that they do actively try to level up vice admirals (Garp). Having one admiral and having than one fleet admiral really does not really make sense governmentally.

You really dont know the strength of the vice admirals as they havent really shown anything except those three giant vice admirals. I think we agree that they will not become admirals.
We have never seen that John Giant is really strong we have just seen that he has a role in the government the same as that lieutinant commander (nobody is really saying he is really strong) who always has the bounty pictures. Whitebeard would as well one shot some of the shichibukais but not all of them.

Obviously the movie isn't important, but it did show some changes that happened in the main story.
It's still a lot less convenient than assuming that oda got it wrong this time based off the fact that there's been mistakes in the past, just so you argument isn't baseless.
Seriously even if you're very used to writing kanji, I can assure you that making a mistake between writing a number which requires you to only place 2 lines at most and making a mistake while writing a kanji is very different. Go try it out yourself you'll see what I mean.

The kind of mistakes you make while writing kanji are usually misplacing lines and from my limited experience it rarely ever automatically changes the meaning of one, more often than not it just makes the whole thing wrongly written. Another thing would be mixing them up, but I can't think of an example where mixing up 達 with something else(that resembles it) would make it make more sense while changing the meaning from plural to singular.

I don't know if Law really got to much spotlight, but what you are saying about Doflamingo doesn't make that much sense. Even if we knew about him, he didn't really have a history with the SHs (save Bellamy, but he didn't really send him to deal with them, so it doesn't qualify, IMO). Now Law does, so I think it's fair to have him being central here.
Don't get me wrong, I also want to have the SHs as the center of this story and I do hope Oda manages to balance this all somehow.
You do realize that this is only because Oda wrote it so, right? He could have just, simply, NOT made Law have an all-overshadowing connection to Doflamingo. Let the Straw Hats stumble across his dastardly deeds, forge a relationship of their own. As is, Doflamingo, one of the major antagonists of the story, has been handed off to be Laws' to defeat. Not Luffys.
Why is everyone exaggerating with Vergo's defeat? It's plain obvious Vergo has gotten himself sliced because of his arrogance. Though technically right, saying Law OHKOd Vergo would be almost like saying Luffy didn't have that many problems with Croc…I know the analogy is shaky, but if Vergo would have fought smartly and would have dodged, Law would have had a much higher difficulty in taking him down. That's at least my take on it.
Vergo went all-out super body haki mode when he charged at Law. He was more serious than he'd ever been at Punk Hazard. Law took on that Full Power, and sliced through it liked butter.
In no way, shape or form was Vergos defeat not a big fat line under "Look much stronger Law is than him, look at how awesome he is!"
And thus, Laws humbling moment at Vergos hands, dissipates in the light of "He was handicapped. Otherwise, he'd mop the floor with Vergo."
And Law's fruit is just that kind of haxx fruit, one mistake and you're done for.
That makes it sooo much better.

Or go look for Law, why are people avoiding this? Instead of withdrawing from Shichi or telling Kaidou, just go look for Law. Someone on an island will see them when they pass by eventually to stop and buy stuff, look for them get CC back. I doubt he will quit.
I thought he cut the destination, or else why did Doflamingo talk about them being so lucky with the skywalk being cut off (Law obviously doing it for this specific reason)? So that means he has to find a different way or looking out for them as well as this being done in a very short amount of time. Law made sure to give him less then a day so Dofla cannot do much, it's either one choice or nothing. He doesn't know where SH and Law are going so going after them when it could end the relationship with Kaido wouldn't be the smartest thing.
He could also find them and get his ass kicked unless he catches them by surprise and steals Ceasar. There's no way he's beating the main 3 SHs and Law, or really Zoro, Luffy and Law.

The second thing which I think wasn't very clear was wether it should be interpretated as Kaidou being the physically strongest living in the world, or the physically strongest non-human in the world?

About Sky Road: Possibly, Doflamingo was using his invisible strings to propel himself forward through the sky (he's never needed his strings attached on both ends to solid things before), calling this ability Sky Road, but needs to see where he's placing the string to be able to go there. The smoke would've broken his line of sight, and hence the Sky Road.
I don't think there could be only one admiral because that would mean Kizaru must now do his job + whatever job Akainu and Aokiji did 2 years ago.
It wasn't explained but I think each admiral is in charge of certain number of Marine bases all over the world. And I doubt one man alone could cover the work that was done by 3 persons before.
The only possible way I could see that happens is that the VA now have more responsibilities than before.

That's true. Law proved his competitive nature 2 years ago along with Kidd and Luffy when they were getting ready to fight the marines outside the auction house. That scene wasn't for nothing. Oda might want us to forget that Law is an enemy for now, but the way he schemes makes me certain that he has a plan to deal with Luffy once the alliance is no longer needed. There can only be one PK and Law knows this. I just can't wait to see how Kidd fits in because he's as big a rival to Luffy as Law is. Possibly the manga's first three-way battle? That'd be fun.

I don't think so to be honest. I mean, most marines are probably marines because they think pirates are bad and want to protect innocents from them. They heard of pirates destroying towns, raiding villages, killing people and so on. They don't necessarily need Sakazuki to think of them as scums.
Remember T-Bone and his really extreme views on justice and all? How he said that the pirates/criminals (referring to the Sh crew and Franky's bros) were going to "taint" the root of justice that is Enies Lobby? I don't think he got the idea from Sakazuki.
Concerning the Admirals discussion: I think it's fairly obvious, as of this chapter, that there is more than just Kizaru as an Admiral. Jinbe suggesting that the Marines were granted unprecedented power could actually mean that there are currently more than three Admirals. To make up for Kuzan leaving and Sakazuki getting promoted, perhaps there are now five Admirals. Three teams, two teams of two to cover the power gap left, and Kizaru as the lone wolf. As for no known current Vice Admirals getting a promotion as of Film Z, if we assume it is canon, the argument could easily be made that not all of the Vice Admirals were present at Marineford. We know Vergo, who has shown to be quite powerful, was introduced in Punk Hazard and wasn't shown on page at Marineford, if he was even there. It's very possible that some Vice Admirals remained in the New World to watch Shanks, Kaido, and Big Mom while the war was ongoing. In fact, we know the Marines were aware of Shanks intercepting Kaido, making this possiblity likely.
As for Oda making a mistake, it's possible, but I would say fairly unlikely. The biggest difference between his mistake with Zoro's bounty and Law speaking about Admirals in the plural is that the former had precedent for a mistake to occur. Zoro's original bounty was 60 million berries. His second bounty was 120 million berries. It would be quite simple to make a mistake by crossing these two bounties to form the error of 160 million berries. However, with the latter, Oda described Admirals in the plural, with an additional kanji character, as CCC explained. If Kizaru was the only Admiral, why would Law, who works with the World Government, not simply say "If you quit the Shichibukai, Kizaru will come after you"? It seems obvious, at this point, that Oda deliberately said Admirals to entice speculation.
Concerning Luffy being strong enough to take out one of the Yonko: Considering Oda has made a pretty big spectacle of how powerful the Straw Hats have become, especially Luffy, I think that Kaido is meant to be the Crocodile of the New World. He will be Luffy's first major fight, but, ultimately, he will be responsible for taking him down alone. The Grand Line started with Luffy's first bounty raise by taking out a Shichibukai. I think it's only fitting that Luffy's first bounty raise in the New World will be because he takes down one of the Yonko.

I too think the Law and the SHs will split up. I don't see him accompanying them to Wano and that has to be the next destination, as there's no way that Kinemon and Momo will tag along for an extended period of time.

Agree with you. Besides, it takes away a lot of the charm in Law. He's supposed to be that deceptive guy who slowly and discreetly advances through backstabbing. If Law becomes attached to Luffy, his character is better off dead.

I'd actually say they're kind of taking off of Smoker here. His stance has always been that a Pirate is a Pirate, which is why he never trusted Croc, law or any of the Warlords, and which is why he still doesn't. The G% brigand seem to be very impressionable, so it makes since that after 2 years of working with him, they;d have Smoker's viewpoint, even if, through their own insanity, they've distorted that a bit.

Assuming he needs the sky road to actually get to PH, I don't think he can actually get there since he said the road was cut off. His comment also suggests that he might not be able to quickly get to PH anyway (something about the "brats being lucky"). Besides, he will probably need to take Buffalo and B5 back to Dressrosa (though it would be kinda funny to see him arrive with both Buffalo and B5's heads to demand their bodies back; but based on the last panel of the SH sailing away, I am pretty sure he won't make it on time). I think he will probably turn back and return to Dressrosa.
