I don't get it, Is it because he looks like another Fighting/Fire?
Pokemon X & Y

-
yes, and it looks like fake to me…
-
-
No , just no .
-
That's like Mienshao but a million times worse. Gotta be fake, though.
-
It looks so legit.
Though I found the best picture ever.
Prepare yourselves, guys.
Fennekin confirmed for fire/fighting

@Cyan:
The best enemy team is Team Miror B.
Miror B was the best mofoing thing ever.
And the battle music.
HOly mother of sweet dickens. -
yes, and it looks like fake to me…
It is fake, someone just trolling with people, I did say it was trolling :P.
-
They're not gonna release anything new until a few months before the game comes out, as is always the case.
-
It would be hilarious if that was actually legit.
-
As Robby posted a bit back, I'm actually a fan of this fanelution for the Gen 6 starters.

Wow, are those stage 1 or 2? Either way, they look really cool.
-
I want those two white dots on Froakie's nose to turn into glasses like things instead of a tasche, though either is awesome.
-
I still like these from a few years back.
-
@RobbyBevard:

Man I loved those ones that triceratops one would be mine.
-
Ah the wonder of a new generation and its unknown evolutions! For Oda's sakes please bring me my Primeape evolution, Rapidash evolution, Heatmore evolution, and Drudigon with Dual Chop and Dragon Rush(or another new reliable physical dragon move with added effects.
Then give us new moves and abilities that clear up weather and entry hazards.
-
Ah the wonder of a new generation and its unknown evolutions!
Well, this is an even-numbered generation, so we will probably see quite a few.
I'm hoping for a Dunsparce evolution myself.
-
@RobbyBevard:

Yeah I remember those back in DP, supposedly, Psychic, Dark and fighting.

I don't think Primeape and Rapidash can go on any further and I don't enjoy Dual Chop n Dragon Rush, but who I am to question those things. A Heatmore evo would be nice as long as we have a Druant evo too.
-

That Triceratops is too adorable for its own good.
-
twitch That better be a fake.
So . . . . been musing on whether or not we'll see some more Evee evolutions. Is it too much that I'd love to see a Flying type?
-

Well both could be taken a bit further to be more viable in battle instead of just inferior versions of other Pokemon.
Dual Chop for Drudigon because my personal set would benefit from it being a substitute breaker. Dragon Rush for the gimmick, it would do massive damage on a sheer force set.

I don't care(I do like the current ones) but Eevee and the eevelutions have been promoted crazy since BW2 into the new games since we will have a movie short about the Eevee, plus the statue guy has a Golurk, Palpitoad and Eevee so I guess its safe to assume that we are getting atleast 1 new eeveelution.

aww isn't it darling? I want one.
-
A Flying or Dragon would kind of take away from what Evee is supposed to be… but then agian. What do I know? They had one for a plant.
-
The water evo turned into a half-fish. Why can't Eevee have wings?
-
If they make a dragon Eeveelution how would you evolve it? (unless they take the easy way out and make a random stone like for Glaceon and Leafeon)
-
Level up in a special place, a Dragon's cave or something like that.
-
Cannot wait for this. I need to hear more news though!
-
If they make a flying Eeveelution I could see him/her be called Aveon.
Pretty basic, I know, but it combines the term AViator and the ending "eon" that all eeveelutions have; not to mention it sounds right.
(The one on the left in the second picture is a ground-type eevee fan concept).
-
I heard a rumor that the new typeas will be light and sound, the 2 main Pokemon's will be one and the other
-

Thats part of a gigantic retarded rumor post.
-
The fox used Psychic/confusion in the trailer so it's a given that he will evolve into a fire/psychic.

They probably aren't going to mess with the balanced rock/paper/scissors game at this point. The game needed steel and dark types for various reasons, and they were introduced fairly early into the franchise, and it is what it is now.
Granted, it could use some more tweaking yet so that for instance, poison isn't so useless offensively, or that some of the types don't have sooo many weaknesses compared to others (grass and rock especially)… but its probably not going change after 13 years and dozens of games setting it the way it is.
Of course, the physical/special split was pretty big and didn't come till what, gen 4? So...
That said, light type would make a lot of sense, and could be something that for instance, grass was strong against, or that mostly benefited heal-type moves.(Grass with its five weaknesses and seven thigns it can't hurt is kind of screwed, for instance. Giving it another defense would be kind.)
-
They should remove the offensive advantage of rock over bug and flying types. So many pokemon get fucked over by stealth rock at this point.
-
I've just got a really good look at xerneas I'm pretty surprised that it kind of defies the design rules(the 3 dominant colour one) that has been set for every pokemon that I know of until now.
With his very colourfull horns it looks rather unique for a pokemon.

Names for potential eeveelutions:
Dragon:
Drakeon/Draceon (really all I could come up with)Poison:
Veneon (first 3 letters of Venom)
Toxeon (first 3 letters of Toxic)
Radeon (first 3 letters of radiation at beginning)Ground:
Sandeon (sand at the beginning..this is a more obvious one)
Duneon (Dune at the beginning as in sand dunes)Rock:
Sedeon (Sed from a type of rock class Sedimentary)
Igneon (Ign also from a type of rock class Igneous pardon my spelling)
(there is 2 other types of rock classes but I can't think fo them atm)Ghost:
Spookeon (spook at beginning might be a little silly looking tho)
Souleon (soul at the beginning)
Phanteon (Phant from Phantom at beginning)Bug:
Secteon (sect part of Insect)
Enteon (Ent from Entomology)Normal: (People could argue Eevee the normal one but eevee is pre-evolution stage)
(couldn't think of any for this one)Flying:
Aveon (brought up in earlier post from Aviator or Avian which is scientific class for birds.)
Windeon (Wind at the beginning)Steel:
Alumeon (Alum from the word Aluminum)
Ireon (first two letters of Iron at the beginning)
Cybeon (first 3 letters of Cyborg at beginning)
Andreon (first 4 letters of Android beginning)Fighting:
Aureon (First 3 letters of Aura at beginning)
Fisteon (the word fist at beginning)I figured since we are on the topic of future eeveelutions i'd put out some name ideas

@White:

No its not. Plenty of things use psychic moves without having a typing in it.
-
@Jedi:

If they ever were going to make any new types, i could only see it happening in regards to the main legendary of either game. Introducing a whole new type is simply unfeasible now given how many pokemon we've had to date.
At least with the case of a legendary, it can work - because they are unique and mythical in nature, that they could be the only 1 of that type to exist.

Yes like Psyduck/Golduck.

Retroactive adding of typing is doable.
For example, Magnemite got a steel typing it didn't originally have.
And a lot of normal types could be switched up a little. Depending on what they added. Really all normal currently does is add a weakness to fighting, and stab normal moves (which aren't effective on anything.)
Pus, new evolutions of old things.
-
@White:

I'd say just get rid of stealth rock.
-
The funny thing about stealth rock is, while its an absolute staple in competition and considered a near requisite move… it basically doesn't exist in-game. Nothing uses it, and there's little motive for the player to use it due to the small team sizes most of the game, and its absolutely useless in wild battles.
-
No more Eevee speculation :/
And burn Leafeon and Glaceon while youre at it
-
Yeah….admittedly, something that would be nice to see(don't know if they fixed it in any gen 4 or above game) is for gym leaders and other big players to actually have full pokemon teams rather than 3-5. Maybe the first 2-3 gyms could be lenient, but people should be able to assemble a full team by then.
-
So, who else thinks streetpass makes this the perfect time to reimplement ruby/sapphire style secret bases? I loved that feature, and it seems like a perfect match for streetpass
-
Streetpass. What dat, man!?
-
It's a 3ds feature that basically functions like tag mode on the ds, except it's tied to the system instead of the game and so you can use for a game even if it isn't the one you are playing right now. It goes on automatically as long as your 3ds has wireless enabled as well, so you don't need to get into it through the game. It's such a perfect fit for ruby/sapphire style secret bases because you could share you're customized base, along with the team you use just by passing another person's 3ds
-
@The:
Streetpass. What dat, man!?
The process of two sleeping 3ds coming in range of one another. The two systems swap game info and Miis and give each other gifts depending on what game they have on them.
All you gotta do is walk by another person that also has a 3DS.
-

I've certainly thought of this before, along with the fact that the 3DS being capable of counting steps means it's a great way to have features from that pedometer that came with HG/SS. As in have a way for Pokemon to earn experience as you walk and maybe come across items or something.
-

Screw you! Glaceon is fucking awesome!
-

Glaceon is so unneccesary, Vaporeon can use most of its attacks…and is my 2nd fav :)
Leafeon and Glaceon were just added to give Flareon some much needed whipping boys
