Woke up a little bit too late, oh well.
We had too -10C lately, but today it sounds like its water dripping and its 0C. Noo i dont want the snow to go away.
Post How Your Day Was..
-
-
The temperature here suddenly rose from -12C to +2C in mere six hours, it started raining like we were somewhere in the British isles, and now almost all of the two feet of snow that we had here is gone. Okay, Mother Nature, I get it. Maybe we didn't appreciate having a white Christmas enough, but do you really have to do this to us? =.=
Jeez you Finns really do live in Europe's Michigan (or do I live in America's Finland?), we just had the exact same thing happen over here. Like a ton of snow we got only yesterday after having a dry Christmas, poof, gone.

Woke up freezing. I've been sick the past few days and have been wiped of all my energy. Apparently, my immune system just decided to hate me all of the sudden. Argh.

Yeesh. Hope you get better soon!
Speaking of, it's equally as freezing on my end. Going to the store to get the paper was a nightmare.

I've been strangely absent these few days, but rest assured, I lurked (and posted some too). It's not like I didn't want to write here, sharing some things, but I always ended up wanting to think it through a little. I'm still in that period~
There's one thing I wanted to ask though: would it be okay/worth it to start a little blog of some sorts where I just write down my strange discoveries about myself and the world? Like a diary, but more… philosophical. Not overly, but still. If so, what site would you recommend (since I can't make on of my own).
On another note, I love fish-soup. I haven't eaten it for 3 YEARS! And now, I was able to do so~ Yumyum...

Blogger's good for that. See the thing me and the guys made about Bleach.

I checked my email inbox today and saw it. The horrible word.
"Fired."
Then I realized I have nothing to be fired from and it was another person trying to petition over something, they send those emails relentlessly. Still made my heart sink though. And today I started my task of completing something I shoulda finished during my childhood: watching the entirety of Batman TAS.

HEY YOU GUYS.
HEY.
I HAVE TWO AWESOMELY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS FOR YOU GUYS:1) WTF is sleep?
2) WHOTF let zachri on the laptop at 1am?
3) WHAT is the meaning of potato?1) Sleep is the thing you're suppose to ignore when a new One Piece chapter is about to come out, but when you have to study it's the thing that comes to thwart your plans!
2) Mailmen sure are tricky
3) The meaning of the potato is self transformation. People must learn to be crispy, boiled, or fried. T'is the secret for a happier life
4) I don't have answer for this question. Ask me again later

HEY YOU GUYS.
HEY.
I HAVE TWO AWESOMELY IMPORTANT QUESTIONS FOR YOU GUYS:- WTF is sleep?
- WHOTF let zachri on the laptop at 1am?
- WHAT is the meaning of potato?
1. Sleep is that thing you do to have some really wacky dreams.
2. That case needs to be researched, but since zachru permission is required to have zachri on the laptop, it's probable, that zachri let herself on it.
3. True meaning of potato can never be discovered, because, if people learn it all the potatoes in the world will disappear. So for the good of all mankind those things are obscured from reason.–--
I've been watching cartoons with my younger brother the whole night. Good times.

So, I did catch the norovirus after all. I haven't been this sick in years. Thank goodness I didn't vomit even once, but everything else was horrifying enough.
Cramps convulsing my stomach in intense pain. Nausea washing over me in waves, sometimes bearable and sometimes making me hug a bucket. Couldn't stand up properly at all, which resulted in lower back pains. Shivers. The nastiest case of diarrhea I've ever had to endure. (Let's just say that towards the end I had no idea WHAT was coming out…) Complete exhaustion and probably a little dehydration as well. I'm pretty sure I've lost a little weight during all this.
It would seem that I've overcome the worst of it and am left with fatigue and weakness. I haven't eaten... well, pretty much anything in the last 48 hours. I should try to at least nibble on something, drink lots of fluids and then go back to bed. Hopefully I'll have gathered more strength by tomorrow. :)

I'm bored…..
TO THE MANGA SECTION!!!
There's so many awesome manga out right now, makes the section really cool to read. I mean, if you didn't know the manga people are talking about, I see how it could be perceived as boring. I still prefer it to other websites' manga sections, and there are only a few comparable ones (one that stays at about the medium level of quality the manga section has, the other fluctuating between utter crap and fun times (but hardly ever any in-depth discussion)).

Yes you should! I always enjoy reading about other people's thoughts on life. Just post a link here so we can find you.
My day wasn't bad at all. I woke up early today for my national-exam-math-preparations class which started around 7 am. I came home right on time for lunch.(yes, the class ended somewhere around 2 pm.)
God I was starving, haven't eaten anything since yesterday's lunch. I went downtown with my friends in the evening and we talked about our band- our bass player hasn't played with us for the last 3 weeks because he had no time, and the fact that in 4 weeks we were only able to learn one song of 7 that we planned to cover because we're just that good. I hope we'll get together this Saturday and play at least 3 song perfectly great. -

Man… The norovirus sounds horrible. Closest thing to your end result I felt once was pretty much having none of those symptoms EXCEPT vomiting. It was horrible and I'm not a huge fan of vomiting. I threw up at least 30 times, no exaggeration. Towards the end, I ran out of shit to throw up but still had the gag reflex. I even threw up stomach acid.
That was the one and only time I've ever gone to a hospital in an ambulance and had to be treated for dehydration over 3 or 4 days.
Good luck, Laca. Being super sick really fucking sucks and I'll be pulling for ya.

Sorry to hear that. I had a nasty case of diarrhea once too, so I think I can picture that quite vividly. Do you have any "bone char" on hand ? Been told that usualy helps.

Well the template fits the title (I like your title!).
What's important is that it's readable, and with that color it certainly is. -

I'm about to try Eggnog with Hot Chocolate. I don't know what it's gonna taste like, but I hope it's good. :)
Last time I experimented with Eggnog was a couple of weeks ago. I poured Eggnog in a mug, crunched up some Ritz crackers, sliced some apples, and mixed them all together. It was delicious!

Finally home! It's been three very long days. Last night we spent three hours talking, then we split up to our separate rooms… where my roommate and I talked for another hour. So I had to drive home on four hours of sleep. I kept falling under 60 on the highway, nearly jam-break'd, and probably crossed my lane at least a dozen times. But at least I got home safely without mixing up the accelerator and the brake (again) or falling asleep. Yay!
So, I did catch the norovirus after all. I haven't been this sick in years. Thank goodness I didn't vomit even once, but everything else was horrifying enough.

It is kinda awkward, but I don't know when school starts next year. We don't even get two full weeks, that's unfair.

I'm supposed to study right now but all I do is look for pictures with which I can explain the hairdresser what kind a haircut do I want.
Why is it so darned difficult? And why am I nervous about it? And why is it that whenever it's about my hair I start to care infinitely while I don't give a damn about anything else beyond "is it comfortable" and "don't I look silly in it"?And why is it that whenever I want to start a basic German sentence e.x.: "I am a girl" I go with jag instead of ich. I await the moment when I have to explain to my German teacher.

your hair is important. Just think, if, heaven forbids, something bad happens to your moustache, you can just make new ones using your hair.

You're right. Maybe I should ask the hairdresser to give me my cut hair so there will be reinforcements for my army.
Army of moustaches.

Just remember, you cannot sue your hairdresser if he cuts your hair too short (as long as it doesn't count as "disfigured").
Well, you can, but you won't get anything out of it.
At least in Germany, that is. -

Interesting. Although I trust this hairdresser since she and my mom knew each other for more the 15 years, and I've been there a couple of times. She was the one who made my "ball-hair"
lolballhairso I'm sure I can count on her. She won't make my hair look stupid on me that's for sure. -

Oh, no no no, I just read a new decision about that a few days ago.
You have to keep up with stuff like that when you study law, you know.@Nolus: Trust is VERY important when it comes to hairdressers. It took me a long time and a lot of horrible haircuts to find one I could trust.

that's why I never have a hair cut, except two years ago, when I decided to have my hair cut mid waist, but it's not worth it, I looked exactly the same.

My specifications for hairdresser/cutter/barber/whatever are very specifically specific. Among a lot of things, they have to have a soft touch. If they scrape a comb against the top of my ears harshly, I am unable to fully enjoy the experience. The same goes for when they brush my hair, they should be able to properly brush without starting at the top and pulling through (it feels awful when someone brushes your hair and just tears through and you feel a hair get yanked).
They have to speak very little, preferably not at all, for I prefer to close my eyes and relax, as I find the sensation of my hair being handled well to be pleasant and borderline erotic.
They have to actually be able to style and lead. While I have fashion sense, I also find it a better experience to allow them, someone I trust to know what to do with it, to do what they will with my hair. Like a lot of things that I "care" about but not enough to be remotely controlling, I enjoy leaving it in their hands. Lately, "growing it longer" has been my goal, so it's been more of a month-and-a-half visit for a half-inch trim, but even that can take skill to do properly.
I lucked out wonderfully in Key West and the first place I went to had the perfect hairdresser for me. It is a very satisfying experience and I will regret having to move.
There is unmatched beauty in a quality touch.

Pitch Perfect was p. good… really solid. I shouldn't have went into it with the expectations that every sentence would be a quotable masterstroke, though. I kinda liked the meth line, and "ac'scuse me" was fun. And I really really liked the dude from Workaholics playing that antagonistic part. I don't like movies very much!!
@ barbs Me and my barber talk about ancient aliens. He's a strange man. Also, I sometimes enjoy when the barber is rough. Makes you feel like you're getting a thorough cut... but, as with everything in that barber shop, there was a catch, and apparently the reason he yanks your fucking hair out with his comb is because he's mentally deranged. This is all coming from the person who talks about ancient aliens, though, so I do not know who is the correct one. If I have to choose between a real life manifestation of <eccentric famous="" person="" who="" talks="" about="" ancient="" aliens="">or a bad haircut though, I'm going to choose the insane person.</eccentric>

Oh dear lord, to an emetophobic like me your predicament sounds way worse than mine. My mother would've taken me to a hospital too had the virus stayed with me for more than one day, but luckily that didn't happen. Yay for us for pulling it through!! (And being one traumatizing sickness experience richer.)
Oh gosh, that sounds horrible. I'm so sorry! I hope you're feeling a little better. Make sure you drink lots of water and sleep plenty~ Get well soon! I hope you recover in time for some sort of new year celebrations.
I'm feeling sooooo much better. Thank you for the wishes. :) Still don't have my appetite back, but I can handle that. Oh and I lost seven pounds during all this! And that's just from 15 hours of being sick. Losing a lot of fluids in very little time is truly scary.

I kinda don't need a barber. ;_;
