Just randomly thinking about Aizen's powers. The real problem with Aizen's abilities is that they're basically invincible and unlimited. He can pull you into an unescapable illusion that affects all the sense that will last forever and can be made to be anything. He doesn't even need to reuse his shikai to alter or maintain his illusion. His abilties ONLY flaws were that it didn't affect blind people (and this is only true if they were blind when Aizen first encountered them, since if they went blind later he could already have them under his abilities affects) which was completely inconsequential because the only blind shinigami just happened to be on his side (and given Aizen's insane abilities in other categories, I doubt any blind opponent could beat him even without the hogyouku bullshit) and that thing Gin said about being immune if you hold the sword right when he releases it or something to that affect, which is pretty much irrelevant since who the hell would try that without knowing it was his ability, and by the time they had any idea they'd already be under the illusion at which point it's too late (Hell, who would try anything since Aizen doesn't NEED to let anyone know he has an illusion ability. In fact, it makes absolutely no sense he'd reveal that in the first place. And even if he did have to say somebody could use illusions, couldn't he just have said it was actually Tosen's true ability, since Tosen's bankai had to deal with cutting off the five senses anways, whereas the one Aizen pretended to have had nothing to do with that). Imagine if Aizen actually had some restraints on his ability use: What if he had to maintain shikai to keep up his illusions, but doing so would drain stamina and make him weaker against anyone he didn't get to see his shikai? Or what if he had to determine what the illusions would be in advance and have to reactivate his shikai to create new ones (possibly ending any ongoing ones in the process). This would both serve the purpose of making Aizen fit more as a chessmaster who won before the game even started rather than a guy who can just instantly come up with a solution to any unexpected scenario, make Aizen less overpowered, AND mean that the one weakness anyone can exploit is actually relevant. ALso maybe limit what types ofillusions he can conjure, make it possible for outside sources to disspell them, or add a simple time limit to illusions so that Aizen actually had to think ahead. He actually could've been a far better character if his power's were limited since it'd force some creativity. He'd still be a super powerful opponent, but not ungodly. Honestly, it speaks volumes that Kubo had to just have Aizen forget that he could trap people like Urahara, Isshin, and Ichigo in an illusion and then instantly dispatch them in order for anyone to put up a fight, even WITHOUT all that hogyouku nonsense

Yea I know cliche and super predictable. But I found out that in Bleach and Naruto, the more obvious/cliche the thing seems the more likely it will be true. Not sure why I even predict. I don't feel one hint of satisfaction when I'm right. Usually its disappointment.

They can see Hollows because of (well, at the time) Ichigo's leaking reiatsu awakened their spirtual sense. The same reason why Orihime and Chad began to see Hollows, at least that was the ORIGINAL reason before Kubo decided to retcon.

The beginning of the series, it was some strange phonemonon to why Karin and Ichigo could see ghosts. Yuzu could only see the outlines. Come Arrancar arc, when Kubo made Isshin a Shinigami….I guess that filled in the blanks? Not Masaki being a Quincy.

…Again, most Shinigami and most Quincy wouldn't mate with each other, because a) the latter group was victim of genocide AND are attacking right now and b) they weren't on friendly terms to begin with. If Isshin and Masaki are the exceptions, I have no idea. Maybe Isshin jumped into his gigai?
It's such a shame Kubo is awful at giving side characters any development. Tatsuki would have been awesome as a brawler. But alas. Kubo thinks that his main character has to do everything. Be everything. If we had proper progression his friends could be fighting along side him…like they friggin trained for and resolved to do. Instead they wander off mid fight or flat out decide to stay home because even they know Ichigo doesn't need help at this point. Ishida who used to be this prideful guy that would jump at that chance to tell the tail of the noble Quincy didn't even go to HM to at least see what's up? I get that he wouldn't go on a rescue mission to save a retarded Hollow, that is sensible. But you'd think his curiosity over knowing more of his people are around would be enough to coax him out.
Which is why I say he must be the final villain and when Bach get's back he'll be chilling in that guy's throne room. He's not curious because he already knew about the other Quincies, because he plans to help destroy them all.
