Wow that was an AMAZING CHAPTER. I have to agree with Aohige, Momo really has that crew-esque like banter. Loved the dialogue it was hilarious. Seeing Monet's eyes I think she is actually evil and her telling Luffy that Dofla would kill him was either a lie or she doesn't care.

Wow, what a chapter. First off, best dialogue in the entire arc between Luffy and Momonosuke, at least for me. It was funny, we got to know new things and Luffy is finally pissed, CC is pretty much doomed now. Smoker is more than holding his own against Vergo (like i said, Vergo was hyped too much, everything is gonna be put into perspective). Law is already awake, thus he has finally the chance to get his heart back.
It is interesting that Robin wants Seastone Padlocks, is it for capturing CC, Monet or for something else?
The only thing i did not like was Monet turning out to be a Logia and that Zoro has to fight her now. -
Yeah, Monet's even further removed from crew material than she was in 683. Though I am looking forward to her fight–she's got the most interesting character design I've seen in a while, and I always like seeing intelligent evil characters (though I wonder why she thinks she can take 4 SH when she knew she couldn't beat Luffy in a stand-up fight). I wonder if she is actually a Logia like Zoro said or if her snow-based powers are because of a yuki-themed devil fruit (snow spirit in Japanese folklore, and most things she's done so far fit). It wouldn't be hard to mistake the two, since Yuki's can transform into snow. Though if she is a logia, the tournament pairing of her and Kuzan was an amazing coincidence.
Also, is Momonusuke supposed to be in black-face? Because that's the impression I got from him in his flashback. It just seems weird to show things like lips and eyes but have the rest of his body solid black.

I assume so. She is one of the few crew members with any kind of actual foresight, and probably figured out they'd need them. They'd also be nice and handy to just take with them afterwards anyway.

Awesome chapter. Robin's hat in the color spread looks like a cross between Saldeath's and Hody's, and it looks great on her (also, Frankystein is awesome). Luffy telling Momonosuke that he doesn't know how he should transform back into a human, since he's not a Zoan was pretty funny to me. And now Luffy's mad, so hopefully it'll mean he'll start taking shit a little more seriously. Confirmation on Devil Fruits is always good, and now we know that they can be created by Vegapunk (and possibly Caesar). Smoker is still kicking some traitor ass, which rules and has been a long time coming. As for Zoro fighting Monet… eh, I guess it's cool that he has the Haki for it, but Zoro's fights have never been all that interesting to me. Still, Monet definitely seems like she'll be a more difficult opponent than Hyozou, so that's a plus. Also, what was up with Momo seeing Doflamingo's silhouette when he was delirious from hunger? The questions just never end...

What a great chapter, it had all it needed to have. I love Momonosuke, and thanks to him now Luffy's got a good reason to kick Caesar's ass, which is a pleasure, because i've seen a lot of people complaining about the lack of emotional investment on this arc ( don't misunderstand me, i like it like this too, i wasn't against he kicking Clown's ass without a personal reason, but i agree with that people that it's better this way ).
Btw, is Brook crying on the colorspread, or is it just paint? I know it's a stupid question, but i haven't got a good sight.
PD: Why, God? Why do they have to put stupid jokes at the end of the chapters? <.<

The Momonosuke flashback was dragged on a little. I would've taken a few pages away for some Smoker vs. Vergo action.
Very awesome that the fruits were revealed. Zoro fighting a logia is going to be interesting and can't wait to see his haki utilization since that is the only way he'll be able to fight against her. Momonosuke with an artificial DF? Meaning, our friend Vegapunk, has the ability to create a DF? It's beyond me why Oda would introduce such a device but we'll see.
Oh yeah. The Halloween color page was awesome! Loved it.
9.9/10 chapter for me.

And are those giant awls in Monet's talons? Those don't look like rapiers, but some screwdriver-like pointy things.

The panels with Momonosuke as a dragon are just such a feast for the eyes; I found the art for the whole chapter to be about 10% above normal.

Funny howm Luffy, Brook, Chopper were simly wearing pumpkins with their hats on top..in Chopper's case a hat on top of his hat on top of pumpkin lol
Sanji…can't tell if he's wearing a costume or just a differnt colored suit with a pumpkin hat.
Of the guys, Zoro, Franky & Usopp are oonly ones in a real costume. I like Usopp's werewolfGreat chapter.

I agree. I can see why some would think its Doflo due to the eyes looking same shape of his sunglasses, but to me it looks like a distorted Ceaser's face. It fits since he was thinking of Ceaser just before that and one of his facial expressions was near that contorsion.

Momo's gonna do something, revenge against Doflamingo? of course he is too weak (i assume) then as a Samurai/father, Kinemon ("as a samurai I cannot allow my son to take this revenge by himself!") will hunt Dofla and join the crew. voila, new crewmate. lol :))

Oh, and I just noticed that Caesar has a color scheme now(unless I missed it being revealed somewhere else), judging by the Shonen Jump cover. Much better than the colors I had in my imagination.

Pretty fun chapter, the more the chapters the more I just know we are getting closer and closer to the Dof arc, which I can't wait for.

Yes!! Luffy getting serious, love it when Luffy gets ticked and gets into butt kicking mode, Cc was pretty much doomed from the start but now hes going to get crushed like nothingZoro V.S Monet?? Finally, guys going to do some thing this arc. I was honestly annoyed how Zoro was just sitting back and letting the others handle things for the past few chapters, now Monet has gone and done it. Shes just lucky she didn't meet up with serious Luffy yet, bad enough shes up against Zoro poor thing doesn't know what she has in store for her. What do you mean this is the first girl hes fought? What about Smoker's sidekick um forget her name, though I guess thats not a fight since hes always running away from her due to her looking like his dead friend and all, so this should be intresting, Zoro is no Sanji hey'll kick her butt or at least try to. For once I am intrested in a Zoro fight
Smoker V.S Vergo, wow man hes sending that guy flying. Will Vergo be dead in this arc? Or will they get another round in the Dof arc? Or will Sanji get another shot in that arc? Vergo really is the wild card here, who knows who this guy will be fighting in the end. As it is, I still think hey'll fight Luffy next, maybe not in this arc but in another as hes on Vergo's hit list right?
Poor Robin, was kind of hoping she'd be the one to fight Monet as we can clearly see thats not the case. I hope she gets a good fight out of this though any ways.
