"No. No. No. No. No. No. NO. NO! THIS IS STUPID. THIS IS SO STUPID. NO."
My reaction while reading Bleach.
"Oh Snap on a double wrap!"
My reaction to Naruto.
Didn't expect Kakashi to be the one who killed Rin.
Neat.

My money is still on that Kakashi being a Zetsu clone.

that causes another plot hole since there's electricity on Kakashi's hand?

How is that a plot hole?
He can copy other people's chakra and techniques, or does he have a lightning weakness.
So no one is complaining on the new Sharingan asspull this chapter?
Obito was able to see what happens through Kakashi's vision, for some reason. This being possible was never implied before despite there being a bazillion opportunities for it (every meetup of Kakashi and Tobi before the final battle, ZombieItachi meeting Sasuke (who had his old eyes) and I'm pretty sure there was something else) and something really similar was a major power of the Rinnegan before (a shared field of vision for all Paths).
Otherwise I liked the chapter. Lol Bleach.

I thought he couldn't copy techniques? My bad.
I thought he couldn't copy techniques? My bad.
I'm just quessing he can copy techniques from what we've seen, I don't think it has been officially stated.
I don;t usually post in this thread but I really wanted to say I hated everything about this Naruto chapter except the final twist which I found pretty great.
My theory: Kakashi killed Rin by accident after the enemy tricked Kakashi into thinking Rin was him he was attacking through an illusion jutsu.
But I'm very skeptical of this theory, I refute this theory of mine by pointing out when asked the reason why he was doing this Obito replied because Kakashi "let Rin die"
If it were really the scenario I was describing then Kishimoto would have had Obito say" because you killed Rin" instead of the former. "let Rin die" seems to imply something else happened.
Gotta admit I am greatly anticipating the next chapter
Maybe Kakashi had to kill her because he was ordered to and he didn't want to ignore orders like his father did.
Ten bucks says Kakashi killed Rin in incredibly stupid circumstances
Maybe Kakashi had to kill her because he was ordered to and he didn't want to ignore orders like his father did.
Scenario is very plausible, but the only way for that to happen is if Rin was evil was about to do something really evil. Maybe an enemy took possession of her body, which forced Kakashi to kill her to protect the life of someone who was in danger because she was possessed.

@Cyan:
Ten bucks says Kakashi killed Rin in incredibly stupid circumstances
This is the most possible scenario ever.
Naruto and Bleach II: Kakashi Chidoris Zetsu Royd or Zetsu Loyd?
Rin will turn out to be the real big bad
Number one rule in order to be successful in predicting Naruto: Think of the dullest, lamest most predictable fan fictiony thing and you will scuessfyuul.
So with that in mind…...
STILL CALLING IT: KARIN IS NARUTO'S LONG LOST SISTER.
I'm just quessing he can copy techniques from what we've seen, I don't think it has been officially stated.
He cant, from what weve seen all he can do is copy someone physically and their chakra signature or whatever, thus why he was fooling the squads into thinking he was one of theirs and also why raikage and bee assumed the fake kisame they killed was the real one. He doesnt have any of their abilities though, its why hes frequently called a weak fighter by all the akatsuki.
I liked the Bleach chapter in a "holy shit this is actually happening" kind of way. A few questions come to mind as to how all of this happens, but I don't find them too outrageous given the rest of Bleach. Why Royd was able to beat Kenpachi and go blow-for-blow with Yamamoto pales in comparison to how or why they have three eyes.
The Lloyd parents sure are awful, though. You can't tell your kids apart or which one is the oldest, so you give them nearly identical names? Ouch.
Can't wait for the inevitable Aizen return. This thread will ascend to heaven.
Do we have a confirmation on that translation?
"You let her die" and "You made her die" (as in "she died because of you") can be ambiguous in Japanese.
Oh hay. Bankai got stolen!….
Called it! <3

This. Just saying…
Haven't read Bleach since high school and was discussing it at work earlier.
Coworker said Kon was pretty much erased from existence.
Lol is this true?

Yep - Haven't seen him in a LONG time.
Sorry if this was covered earlier, but wasn't there meant to be something about Ichigo's mother being a hollow in early
Bleach? I remember in the end of volume 3 or 4, it had Grand Fischer and another hollow talking about 'Destroying Ichigo Kurosaki' or something along those lines. Did Kubo ever go into that? And
The 'Ichigo's mother is a hollow'?
…Unless there's a negative espada, and you think that it goes from -1 to -9, but really it goes to -10, and Ichigo's mom is -10.
Also, I skipped Fullbring. Should I read it? Is there anything in the Fullbring arc that is important?

Ichigo regains his Shinigami powers, all the characters gets new haircuts.
There I saved you the trouble.

Question is, where did they get their haircuts? I see no hairdressers in Soul Society.

Ichigo's mother, as far as we know, is human. It's kind of expected/joked about something is up with her because that would be the Kubo thing to do; everyone's waiting for Isshin's backstory, but there's actually something going on with his mother. Kubo has stated Ichigo's birth will play a part in how the story ends.
I would skip the Fullbring training arc chapters. There's a legitimate amount of suspense going on outside of that, and then you get to the short battles that resolve the arc. Really, you could read the whole damn thing, without skipping, in a day; that's how poor the pacing is.

wow your coworkers read manga? thats kind of cool… where do you live and work?
I'll get my hands on the volumes when they come out in Australia, because I don't like reading online that much.
I thought there was a rule about if you get killed by a hollow you become a hollow… Grandfisher killed Ichigo's mother, so she should be a hollow... Unless I misread that part.
Doesn't Bleach always have poor pacing?
Sorry for double posting, but for some reason my post showed up twice. Strange.
Kakashi kills Rin. Yamamoto gets trolled.
haha

anything is possible in bleach… so theories are kind of pointless.... i don't think kubo follows any preplanned storyline...
I wouldn't be surprised if there were some White Zetsus disguised as Rin and Kakashi. They got separated and Kakashi accidentally kills Rin thinking she's a clone.
So, Ichigo's mother could be Aizen who was turned genderbent by -insert Italian name here- (Or NotIvankov) and that's how Aizen knows about Ichigo. Then, when Ichigo's mother 'died', she really didn't and turned back into a dude and went back to SS to live his life in shame because s/he was apart from her lover and then lost his/her memory because of some ploy device.
…Yeah, sounds like it was made up on the spot, therefore this is perfect Kubo.

he didn't go blow for blow with Yamamoto. He got owned veryh badly.. Yamma was toying with him, but ironically he was the 1 that got trolled.
And its not really the fault of the parents tha tthey cou;ldn't tell them apart, given they can copy each other's apperance….
Maybe Kakashi had to kill her because he was ordered to and he didn't want to ignore orders like his father did.
I don't think so. After Kakashi Gaiden he had an other sight on "rules" and orders… I'm not sure if Kakashi would pull an Itachi. If the situation would give it, that he needs to kill her in an instant, to save someone, then yeah, but getting orderd...
Also it would be possible that Madara uses his hax-sharingan to show Obito some kinde of bs...
I'm quite interessted in the conclusion of this scene, since it CAN turn out nice. But we all know kishi... He has tons of ways to ruin/troll it...
Oh god, today's entry of Burg Hamburg Burg pulled a prank on one of their employees, but had Kubo Tite pay for it (as well as help them pull off the prank).
Damn, we do need a thread about mangaka social stuff.
I didn't even know Kubo was friends with those comedians.
Karin was evil all the time?

Also, this is awesome.
I'll post it in the TOC thread, since that's kinda junkyard of random Jump stuff these days.
Why was Kakashi's right eye closed? Only time I remember he did that was when he fought Itachi and tried to escape Tsukiyomi.
Possible foreshadowing of "lefteyed poopclone" and "righteyed swirlyheadclone" fooling Obito?
Also, possible foreshadowing that Sakura gets offed? :D
No guys.
Kakashi killed Rin for the lulz
One thing to note though: Obito/Tobi doesnt directly blame Kakshi for Rin's death. He said "You let Rin die" and not "you killed Rin you asshole".
Thats something worth noting.

I think that Obito will understand the situation or rather the reason for Kakashi killing Rin, whatever it may be. That is also why he does not blame Kakashi really but rather the Ninja World who put both Kakashi and Rin in that situation in the first place.
Man what a waste of paper and ink.
wait wait, so Zaraki raped Loyd(which can imitate other power and abillities perfectly) offscreen with ease but instead also raped hard offscreen by Royd(which can only imitate other memories and spirit perfectly), Kubo messed up the twin himself?

I am now inclined to believe Kubo's a troll again, though him being inept and incompetent is still a very likely (and overall more belieavable) possibility.

Prolly that was the scanlator's fault.

No, because Royd had the memory of Juha Bach.

If you wish to look into it… You can almost make sense out of it.
Lloyd has the ability to copy techniques down pat while Royd copies experience. Kenpachi has no problem beating Loyd because even if Loyd knows his moves, he'll just adjust his reiatsu to win. Loyd having power isn't the same as being able to use it(cc: Kutsuzawa). Royd however can copy people's memories; he potentially understands everything about Kenpachi. The only person who could get around Kenpachi's broken powers... is Kenpachi himself, who Royd is able to replicate.
Also, going even deeper, Royd's abilities are shown in full back at the necromancy chapter. He copied Bach's memories so he's able to recognize the dead soldiers Yamamoto throws against him, even if he's never met them. He could fool Yamamoto because Royd knows everything Bach knows.
The real mystery in all this is why supposed Quincies have pseudo-psychic powers but you can just chalk it up to Kubo making a character lie about what's actually going on.
