Third Round Discussion

@Tyrone:
Does this mean Kaku and Jabra are Sailor Mercury and Sailor Mars?
Since this didn't happen:
!
We will never find out :(
But this is not the time to be bitter. I'm awaiting a great match and I'm sure the Law camp will deliver amazing stuff.

'Yeah lets not make this a thing'
I lol'd.
Don't worry.
I shan't make it a 'thing'.
it's already a thing. -

it's already a thing.Considering it's basically an anti-campaign, it better be a thing that disappears quickly.~

Tomorrow it's finally GODTIME
-
Have Zoro or Usopp ever won a tournament?

No on the former, yes on the latter.
Also, tomorrow is not Thursday—it's Tashigiday…
-
Correct. Surprisingly enough, the first mate has not won a tournament. Usopp actually won the first AP Tournament ever.. I believe in '06.

Thursday comes from Thor's Day - in several languages Thunder's Day. If God Enel doesn't win on this his day…
-
If God Enel doesn't win on this his day…
It'll mean he dragged poor Bon-chan down with him.
Oh, and is there anyone who doesn't know about the origin of the word Thursday? Unless redundancy is what you were going for, in which case, carry on…

In 2004. 'Twas Franky who won the -05 tournament on January 9th, 2006. The tourney kind of went on longer than first assumed back then, apparently. And trust me, I've got this checked. :D
-
So who are all the winners?
Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Robin, Franky, and Whitebeard… Right?

Usopp,
Franky,
Luffy,
WB,
RobinNami aint won it before.

I didn't know about the origin of Thursday …
Also, God-kama has it in the bag. Both are extremely popular characters and Enel has particularly fantastic campaigns.
Not to mention usually Shakky and Tashigi never get this far, this year it was just a matter of balls. So unless we get Nia/Jabra/OldMate/Warp/Nolus/VenomousWarden-type campaigns, I don't see Shakigi surviving.(yes, consider this a request for awesome campaigns to get my vote :ninja:)
-
Tashigi would still be in this round if her round 2 match against Shakky had gone as planned, of that I am certain. If anything, balls are causing her hindrance, not helping. For all we know, she could've come up against a single opponent in this round that she could've had a better chance against. Not that that matters, since this round is what it is.
As for campaigns: firstly, I'm offended that my name isn't on that list, and secondly, stay tuned…
-
I think the thrid round was not a good idea to have a tag team mathes ,

Please don't be sad Mugen. Of course this is unfortunate for Tashigi, as are many things happening to her lately…but when the next tournament rolls in and Tashigi is up against character XY, I will remember that her matches always entertained me greatly and I will look forward to it.
And that's mainly because of your efforts. -
Sad? Eh, it happened and there's nothing left to do but go down fighting. My campaigns and I are ready to go, and you all shall see that soon enough.
And now I'm off to catch some Z's before the match starts…
-
I'll still be fighting for Shakshigi, or that you can be certain.~
-
Sneaky Fox.
-
I'll probably be a little late for the next match, but I have a couple of good campaigns the Godkama camp could use.
Link is in my sig.EDIT: Actually, scratch that. I'll be able to make it.

Bod Kurenel, the juggernaut

I-I'm so proud of y'all, my fellow Lawfarers Q u Q

Even though I don't feel like quoting some people and I might be a little late to that particular coversation:
About this whole mentality towards voting against previous winners. I think it's bullshit.
It's a character popularity tournament. Telling others, "don't vote him/her, they already won, it's boring" is fucking stupid. Last I checked, I don't need a reason to vote for what character I want to win. What, should we take out the previous winners? So If Law or zoro or nami or whitebeard or croc or whoever wins that means people shouldn't vote to see if they win a second time in a row next year? We haven't had any winners win double yet. I personally think that's pretty exciting too. But all i'm saying is it's about as boring and crummy and uninspired of an anti-voting tactic as "don't vote strawhats, cause they're popular."
…in a popularity tournament.
! Gekko out!

Seeing that Gangnam Style campaign makes me weep and wish that Apoo and Hawkins had gotten through and that they ended up in a tag team…

I can but dream… -

That's exactly how I see it as well. Well said! Also, on an unrelated note: It seems that Usopp is out of the tournament, I have no purpose in life anymore now :(… or something.

Mhm.
Join the Lawfare army. You know you wanna. Goatees and whatnot. Plus I love Usopp. Seriously. I just don't love any characters more than Law. Apoo is pretty damn close. Like. 0.00000000000001% close.–- Update From New Post Merge ---
B'aaaaaaaaaaaw why'd you remove my victory gif? Q A Q

Now to sleep. What a day what a day. oscar speech

sigh Well maybe next year, my dear Robin, and hopefully ALONE and next time, WE WILL BE READY! Anyways, congrats to all supporters on both sides (especially the Law/Whitebeard side). And a very big special congrats to Warp 2.0 for his awesome campaigns! :)

Are you connected to Warp Predator / Lef in any way? Your campaigns have similar quality / remind me a lot of them.

That IS Warp. Account issues. Apparently someone is sorting it out, so until then we have Warp 2.0…
Warp and Lef are different people. Both equally awesome. -
sigh… my dear Usopp.... sigh I knew it's be a heartbreaker up against Law & Whiatebeard,
Oh well I like them too -
This is getting out of hand. Law has taken down THREE Straw Hats: Luffy, Robin, and Usopp.
I will take down the Lawfare before it's too late…....dun, dun, dun......

not before law takes down nami :P

We'll get Nami to show up in a bikini
-

No way, jose.
I'll start spewing "manglaze" before I let Nami lose to Law. (Better watch out, Team Lawfare)
-
The judgement have officially started. A tiny bit too late.

@metteminne:
We'll get Nami to show up in a bikini
Didn't we have this discussion already? A few times, actually?
Every time we did that Law bounty poster e1n made popped up. -
OH NOEZ IT'S SONIC
-
Usopp! Ok… Usopp's gone... I need to make Croco-boy win, then! And If Croco-boy loose that round, I'll have to make Smoker or Doflamingo win! Or Bon-Chan, if he win this round... But still... I'm sad that Usopp is gone...
-
But still… I'm sad that Usopp is gone...
Want to avenge Usopp?
Join me to go against his last opponent…..the anti-Law alliance!

!Though this mentality will be perfectly acceptable next year when Law wins this one. :ninja:
That's the only reason I'll be able to stomach another round or two of Lawfare.
-
Why is the Tashigi and Shakky combination called "Lilith Fair"? It's a cool sounding name and I know who Lilith was, but there doesn't seem to be any connection to the two.
-
The connection is actually to the other group's name.

I believe you. :) I should have known that, since I had to use their years of winning the tourney last round as part of their bounties..
-
Well, let's see who I'd like to see win… Nami or Zoro. Yep, either of these would be fine.
-
I haven't had any time to really make any campaigns, and I'm gonna be gone for a while tomorrow too. So I don't know how much I'll be able to do for shanks and Magellan to be honest :(
-
I am extremely biased, but based on what I've seen so far in terms of campaigns …
Law vs. Enel would be a fantastic match for the final. I'm hoping we get there.
